Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?

Why are you shame if you gambler?.For the information they are some people consider gambling as thier job. Just start to feel shame if you have a gambling addiction because this is a disease.

Gamblers never realize their addictions and its consequences hence they never find themselves ashamed till they into gambling. Maybe after quitting gambling, they start feel shameful.

It's not never because in reality gambling can be a job and when you consider that as a job that means you are constantly making profit in doing it. Maybe it's not possible for us but they can do it because they are gifted with the extraordinary skills and talents, so, what we have to do is just respect them and hope that we can achieve what they are enjoying now in the future.

It's not never because in reality gambling can be a job and when you consider that as a job that means you are constantly making profit in doing it. Probably innocent people may adopt gambling as their jobs, but gambling never let them live their regular life. When you are not getting your life support from a job, is that still a job ? It is highly shameful to adopt that kind of activity as a job.

yeah you are right that in many countries people consider that gambling is bad thing but Here is i do not consider that gambling is bad thing because i join the gambling as entertaining myself and i do not join gambling for profit and i just get a a lot of fun and enjoyment on gambling sites.

I dont feel shameful for being a gambler, I played gambling for 2 years and still im not addicted on it, For me gambling is my past time and I dony get so serious to play withit . I dont play the money that has reserved for a stuff. 

When we already provide the right money for those who depend on us, then we should not be shameful with our habits. As they say, lets give ourselves a reward once in a while. Just don't do it to often for it is not reward anymore.

Why you don't want to tell it to your friends if you are not shameful to be a gambler? Maybe the mindset of your friends if they will find out that you are gambling is that you are just losing your money. Why not just tell them that it is your past time and you are just doing it when you are bored? There is nothing to hide from our friends just because of gambling.

Definitely no, I even bother my friends with talking about gambling. Few of my friends like to play poker, I often play with them when they come to visit me.
I share with them my winnings and now they often ask me how it's going with gambling. Since I earn some bitcoins I gamble almost every day and I'm not ashamed to talk about it.

I agree. We have the right to use our money whenever we want so basically there  is nothing to feel shameful about being a gambler. I love gambling and my family accept that truth. Sometimes, they evrn support me when I feel disappointed about my gambling career

Wow! I love your life dude, you have a very nice family for supporting your gambling activities. My family knows that I am gambling and they respected it but never had come a time that when I am upset they give me advise. I just keep my losing experience myself but share the blessings with them when I win.

same is the case in my country. gambling is consider as wrong activity because in most of the cases it effected people too much. most of the people consider gambling as mean of entertainment and joy, but to me i think it is only design for making money, there is no fun and no entertainment in gambling at all. and you can enjoy gambling only if you are making money, otherwise there is no fun and entertainment in gambling.

Agree with the newbie, other people will not really care if I spend my money and use it for gambling. But, i think being so addicted to gambling is not good, yeah it is not a shame, but it is not a good one to be addicted with, especially if we have our own families. They must be our priority, they must be our focus.

I think it's the way other gamblers do gambling that put it in bad light. There are a lot of stories about people being left by their families and friends or rich people who went bankrupt or people stealing to fund their gambling habits. Unfortunately most see this as the only effect of gambling. And i think this is whats making other people becoming ashamed to gamble openly. Though there really is a thing called responsible gambling that would allow you to enjoy all the fun things gambling brings without having the negative effects

For countries who are not open minded with gambling it's there culture and they are resistant to changes especially the new technologies. I'm glad I do not belong to a country which has that kind of belief and culture. I live in a country where people are eager for a change and since gambling is only viewed as an entertainment then simply it's not a bad thing.

I dont feel shameful being a gambler because the money I've been using to bet is not coming from illegal activities. Having fun in gambling is not bad and in fact its good for you and it will make you feel better and cope up with stress when times of pressure times. Nothing to worry about when gambling, as long as you do good things and the bitcoin you are using to gamble is from legal source, so you are confident most of the time.

actually in our society we are living in joint family, and we have to obey our elders and our elders never allow us to play gambling as it is consider as sin in our society therefore it is difficult to play gambling so openly and if you caught playing gambling the you will certainly feel shame. therefore we play gambling without disclosing yourselves.
