To be honest, I'm sometimes ashamed of the fact that I'm addicted to gambling and I try not to talk about this family because they are against such entertainment.

It's a shame if you are an addicted gambler and we all have the same feeling. But why not try to tell it your family? Instead of thinking that you'll receive hate maybe they can help you to boost up your confidence and even support you to get out of addiction.

Rather its best to say that if a person is wasting money on gambling then its bad since you should try to earn money for your needs and your family needs and also for future. I can control gambling habit but I cant stop gambling. It is weird case for me however Im sure there are alot of people that cant stop as well as cant control the amount of money that they use to play. I dont want to judge anyone as well but I think that everyone should control the money that they play eventhough they can afford it

Right, the shame on being a gambler only comes after realizing that he had already become addicted in playing resulting to being incautiously irresponsible not only to his family but also to himself. There are many addicted gamblers who had lost their job because of addiction. The money that had been earned while working as well as the saved money are spent in casino games and there are times that the money inside the pocket is not enough. Thats true. Im not ashame if i gambled what matters most is how do you play the game. Because in your playing you will also develop your skills and your mind set and ethics too. The problem is than once a person gets into gambling they do realize the scenario that you described. But the human mind does not accept losses and its ego and greed flares up. That is dangerous because it only leads to the person becoming a gambling addict and they wont stop gambling until they recover their losses. But the cycle is vicious and it continues to drain money until they actually are broke.

yeah basically it's depends on what kind situation in a place where do you live, since your place have recognized gambling as a restricted thing then no wonder people around you would act feel like you are exiled, it's just like you get caught stealing or something like that right? of course you would feel embarassing . pretty different when you live in a place where gambling run legally as a promising business , there's nothing to be ashamed of.
