2 o'clock position is stock setting. Looks like it's already turned up a bit.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

If we're talking about the flat, 2 o'clock is just a bit above absolute minimum voltage.

Right, but I designed and built them so I have to assume there's a misunderstanding somewhere.

For 350 MHz I had to turn it to 6 o´clock or even 7 o´clock.
To read it like a clock the usb port has to be downside.
that would be a half turn  to get to 1 or 2 oclock becouse my screw is lower left corner wen you kept the stick up
Just set up the frequency and look out for HW errors. If the HW number is increasing, turn up the voltage a little bit by turning clockwise. If it´t still increasing, turn more. If it stops, you´re done.
But don´t forget to cool them.

hey ,

i iam playing a bit with the voltage to get the hashes up ,

but i must say i am happy with the europe version 2pac , fast delivery all smooth, oke so here findings :

first , the USB port i ordered dident come in as i expected so i canceled that one an bough me an other :

Logilink 7 ports usb powered , Spec:   : picture of it :  http://i66.tinypic.com/2qd738h.png

USB 2.0 Hub
7x USB port
ON/OFF switch
Compatible with USB 2.0 standard
LED indicator for Activity
Maximum speed: 480 Mbit/s
USB connection cable and
5V/3.5A power supply included
No driver installation required
Built-in over-current detection and protection

and a usb fan picture here :   http://i67.tinypic.com/33cq5go.jpg

i did upper the voltage screw a tiny bit up , here are my results after 3 ours running : picture here : http://i64.tinypic.com/23u9da9.jpg

the 2 pac did not become hot or even warm , excellent   all you have to do is having a good ventilation !!

 0: BSD 10014510: COMPAC-2 250.00MHz HW:0 | 22.97G / 27.43Gh/s WU:383.2/m

resulting in a very stable running 2 pac i am satified, after reading almost this whole topic and more over the gekko science 2pac my knowledge is getting better,
but could some one explane the above blue lettters what it mean ?

i am running the latest gekko sgminer without any settings from the menus, def want to buy more from bitshopper.de in future

so basically, i had the stick working before in my usb port on my pc. It worked, then after unplugging it and plugging it back in, cgminer keeps saying no device detected.

i brought a powered usb hub, and my pc recognizes the usb miner, but my cgminer still doesn't. I'm using a precompiled folder and it's still not working. Can anyone help?

You need to be using this version of cgminer - cgminer-4.10.0-windows-gekko

The blue output is the actual hashing rate, I think. The other one right next to it is the average.

This is what you should be using for Windows:

cross-compiled cgminer.exe binaries

Apr 29, 2017 @ 495461c - cgminer-4.10.0-windows-gekko-495461c.7z

Install the zadig generic WinUSB drivers

http://zadig.akeo.ie

The USB drivers is probably what you are missing.

If it was running without cooling and you unplugged it while very hot, that can cause damage to the ASICs.

I have found that a 60 watt powered anker (7 port) will only support two 2pacs, any more go zombie quickly.

hey all ,

24 our update , history post : page back : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1764803.msg28700730#msg28700730

i am running now 24 ours straight  temp of the stick is minimal warm , i can tough the coolrib for more then 5 min without burning my finger/ hand

see this sgminer values :  0: BSD 10014510: COMPAC-2 250.00MHz HW:0 | 34.52G / 27.42Gh/s WU:383.1/m

so my conclusion is wen you cool the 2pac it will run without heat and hardware errors. i am satisfied with it ....

after this 24 our "test" run i will alter the mhz in cgminer again to see it it will run at 275 mhz or 300mhz

i am using a cheap powered usb hub 5 volt 3,5 amps ( plus minus 16 usd) ( usb ventilator arround 2 usd ) , so i know wen i want to ad an other stick i probably need a other USB hub

[Edit]   my conclusion is wen you cooling is oke it wont run hot

My 60w Anker hub (10 port USB3 version) is currently powering four android phone, three 2Pacs (factory default voltages and speed), and one original compac gekko (200Mhz overclock) without issue.

sure, you have three 2pacs on that hub running at 100mhz, try boosting them to 300 mhz. If you do only 2 will work on the hub
