2016 it got retested (or came close to it) several times. If this repeats we still will see some 20-30% dip

The odds for the race were deadlocked @1.90x for each candidate about an hour ago when I got up. Now it is in favor or biden @1.59-1.60x with wisconsin ballot counting coming to an end and trump leading by about a couple of thousand. He called this election a fraud and he was going to sue them all in the supreme court. Well then that is a call to Lawyer up! This election doesn't look like it is going to end in just 35 days the last time it happened with gore and bush. Bitcoin price had not budged even after he made this outlandish speech so BTC don't care what the other orange face has to say.

<...> Bitcoin price had not budged even after he made this outlandish speech so BTC don't care what the other orange face has to say. I told you so, even if some disagree: Election results are going to impact markets only for a few days, at maximum.
BItcoin didn't react because of this: We are looking at a slow motion car accident: one driver wants to steer, the other wants to hit the pedal, but the reality is they are going 100 km/h against a wall 10 meters away. The only hope for Biden support, which I think are already in the Denial Stage, is the absentee ballot in PA have a very high percentage (higher than the one observed so far) for Biden....otherwise it is done deal.

Well.... The fact that it was not a blowout points to a simple truth: This is what the people of America want. Really, if conditions this screwed up don't result in a call for change then these are the conditions that people really want in their lives.
Need to think about this one for awhile. The ramifications are interesting.....

Looks like Wisconsin and Michigan will go to Biden. Nevada to close to tell and likely that Trump gets Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. This would give Biden just enough to win.
Looks like there will be lots of legal battles though, and recounts.
Of course Bitcoin doesn't give a fuck either way. Because, we all know that it doesn't matter which team wins, the destruction of the monetary system has been baked in for decades now.
No matter the result go long BTC, always go long BTC.

Tradingview is one of the most reliable source to follow US elections. Trump lost his hype. So many dumpers. It looks like things are not going well for Trump

It is really slow going due to the fact they're still using old technology and hand counting. One reporter at a polling station said they had to halt the progression of getting the results of the counts of votes because they had to go find ink for their ink-jet printer. What is this? They are still working with equipment from the 90s? No laser printers running at these polling stations to print off the results so to update bloody CNN? GET TO USING THE BLOCKCHAIN FOR VOTING ALREADY!

Could be quite bullish for bitcoin as people get rid of the banana dollars for bitcoins. That should drive up the price in respect to USD, and probably drive up the EU price to a lesser extent as Europeans have to compete with Americans shoving dollars into BTC machines.

About $1B of Bitcoin comes out of hibernation An anonymous user has moved almost $1 billion of BTC for the first time in five years
69,370 BTC (worth almost $1 billion at the time of transfer) has been moved from an address linked with the Silk Road site that was shut down in 2013. The wallet address is the fourth largest and has been dormant for the past five years. https://coinjournal.net/news/about-1b-of-bitcoin-comes-out-of-hibernation/

Enjoy the show.. It is all it really is. My sympathy goes to any business owner afraid of riot damages over the next few weeks. This looks like 20 to 30 days before a declared winner and 20 more days of court fights. It does give Trump following exit strategy I put Barrett on the supreme court and she voted against me (on PA voting). I did a fair appointment then Biden wins. Trump issues a self pardon and leaves. Supreme Court takes that case and lets Trump have his self pardon. Trump says murica sucks and moves to Russia Putin gives him an American ambassador title. So Trump gets to Wander around in the USA with Russian diplomatic immunity . In 2022 Biden falls ill with covid-22 and we have a black-indian Women as President. She immediately shows her true colors and issue a fuck the brothers+ sisters crime bill which makes sleepy Joe's old bill look like it was weak. By 2024 blacks are tired of Kamala's crime tatatics and and vote in Trump/West republican that's right Ivanka for president and Kanye for vp.
