Is bug with this block - zero payment?  Am having no issues with block before and after.  Am having no disconnects.   Rate is being same us usual for me in this block and others - averaging about 1100 shares each hour.

my total rewards have dropped a lot over the last couple of days, is there any reason for this? my connection has been fine and has not dropped at all.

Total:    318274920    1317768    2.91231878         756.50467223

it should total up to 3.132190399 (1317768/318274920*756.50467223)

I have been looking at this for the past week and noticed that I have not been rewarded properly

Higher total pool hash rate means you get a smaller piece of the pie, unless of course you increase your hash rate proportionally to the total pool increase...

I just started using slush's pool and i'm getting much better payout compared to other pps pools.
This is not pps pool, actually very far from it.
maybe read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.msg50002#msg50002

Yes but you get more of them so total is the same...

Its not that straight forward as Slush's score system has some variance.
Did you have 100% uptime with youre miners?
Pool speed varies...
and actually its 1317768/318274920*(756.50467223*0.98) = 3.06954659
so you had 94,8% from expected payout, which is totally inside the variance of this pool.
At some other time it can be 105% etc.. Longer runs evens it out.

Are payouts and email broken for anyone else? My reward has almost doubled my threshold but hasn't been sent and I have been trying to change my payment address but never get the verification email.
I got a payout yesterday at 19:00 UTC but it took a little longer than usual. I did NOT get an email notification. Kind of an obvious question but, did you check the payout history?

I know I haven't been paid because my confirmed reward is now at twice my send threshold.

You'll need to pm slush and ask him to check/reset your email address - you'll have to be patient though me thinks... make the PM subject clear so it catches his attention - like I FORGOT MY EMAIL ADDRESS - PLEASE HELP

I'm afraid your variance is quite normal at your hashrate.

There is also a chance that he wrote mail wrong... Not sure if this can be fixed...

I believe that block 18373 is a compensation for the missed block mentioned earlier.
But inserting a fake two second block in the statistics makes the overall pool luck value increase for the following period of time... :-)

No it is not, because i have no shares for that round, while i have for the round before and also had for the missing block (both before and after i.e. no downtime)

I have two shares in those two seconds, which is not very likely at my speed (but not impossible).
I've been believing the block data was artificial, just to insert the reward for missed block.
(My reward for this block is about twice the normal one.)

NMC merge mining is deprecated, as only old getwork servers do it. Stratum doesn't, so only 1% of pools hash rate goes into NMC.
This is why NMC blocks are so rare at the slush's pool atm.
Tho everyone who have filled NMC wallet setting gets rewarded even if they mine only with stratum.

Not anymore no more getwork... Look statistic page...

EDIT: that means no more NMC.

There are 14 pages of more than 400 posts relating NMC mining in this thread.
On any of those 14 pages the answer can be found.

BTW, Slush had announced earlier, that when the fraction of getwork clients drops below 1 %, getwork will be eliminated. Therefore, no more NMC mining will be available here also.

"Member rank" doesn't always reflect member proficiency. There are several Jr. Members who have read some or even more pages of this thread and who can then answer f.a.q. posted by higher rank members who didn't bother reading & finding.
[edit]: (See quotation headers with ranks inserted.)

Please, do read at least parts of this thread.
Use search. Please.
Try to find the answer yourselves before asking.
Please.

(And if you think you haven't enough time:
please, don't steal time from the others.)

Do not ask the same questions again and again...

Thank You.

Thank You.

Good luck, I've asked that of members numerous times almost a 100 pages ago.  I've simply given up.  Now I just try to keep up with the 4-8 new pages per day and hope that all the newbs start to figure things out sooner rather than later.

And I agree with your point about the member rank.  That rank is based on post count, and I know of several (ex. lucko) who have only been members for a couple months but have more posts than I do after a couple years.

If I help you out: 17QatvSdciyv2zsdAbphDEUzST1S6x46c3
