If you mine on a small pool (slush) then the daily and weekly "pool luck" is pretty meaningless. The only figure worth looking at is the 1 month "pool luck"  and even that needs to be looked at longer term.

just my 2p

Russell

1 month pool luck is down to near 100%.
You know what 100 % means don't you ?
100% means AVERAGE, we dont want average we want ABOVE average.

The pumpkin spice latte threshold is too high, and you want one that corresponds more with your planned purchase of two gummy candies at 7-11?

Slush uses a score based system to prevent pool hopping. The shares submitted near the end of a round count for more than those at the start of a round. If you mine for 5 hours at the start of a 19 hour round and then don't mine for the last 14 hours, you won't see anything.
Conversely of course, if you had mined for the last 5 hours of that 19 hour round but not the first 14, you'd see the same payout as someone who mined the whole 19 hours.

Yea into it all does.   Its just a pain in the ass.   Pay for these services to get nothing out of it.   Mine somewhere else and ALWAYS make it back.   Slushs pool you Always make back yourbprofit but sometimes I find you can have like 10hrs of mining.  And than stop mining and receive no payout at all.

I blame the block rate.     This week iv noticed  the largest slowden in getting a block and btc payout has been crap.

Oh well can't really say much or do much.  Just sucks that iv never had this issue before up until this week.   Sucks quite a lot.

Agree it does suck. I run 8TH and I have learned just let it ride no matter how painful as it hurts worse to loose everything, might as well have had them unplugged when you walk away.

Also bobsav2121 thanks for the slush dance it might have been a little delayed but it worked.

@ Chris12821

Keeping your rig connected and running continuously 24 hours a day is part of mining at Slush's and most other pools. If your circumstances does not allow this - a PPS(pay-per-share) pool might be best for your mining operation. Discus Fish and Polmine pools both offer pps and may offer better payout since your rig is going offline at times causing you to lose payouts.

Did you see the new Spon SP20, 1.7 TH? They make a really good looking miner but still a preorder and a little high. S3 now is still a better deal.

Preorder is a sure way to harvest headaches...What about the guys who were first to pre order the SP30 for like 15K and then got a machine that only did 4.5TH instead of 6TH!
