Just submitted a support ticket on cex.io:

Quote
Please allow ANC maximum price > 0.01

Unable to place a ANC/BTC sell order for more than 0.01, as the price is rising, this will be a problem when using the exchange for the coin.

Man ANC is going insane with 6 days left before testnet, how high can it go?

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

I expect new highs!
btw,  if we look at DRK high price, in that time drk have total supply 22M I think, these days that is changed..
So, ANC is 7x smaller, very RaRe coin,  with total supply = 15$(drk) x7  , yeah we can go high

thanks for your support!!

I'm not sure how you all see this guys ...

But I see it as sth. similar to a pump. It will come down pretty hard in the coming days I think.

Nonetheless, excited about the Testnet, all thanks to Gnosis.

I'm lazy to search,  but I remember when you were start less support to ANC.
I hope you haven't sold much that day  Cheesy

Pump, dump, everything is normal. ANC is more than that. We have to satisfy traders.
Just sit (study) and wait, like I told you before.

It's the only Coin I hold until the time some darknet markets accept it.

Well, I can't do much anymore, I'm swamped with this studying stuff ... it's pretty brutal.

See ya!

Looks like bleutrade froze anoncoin for some reason?

Anyone have any ideas?

Their message is below.

*****

This market is frozen: [ANC] We are investigating a major problem. We are suspecting that the application anoncoind is suffering loss of coins due to a possible bug. We need to wait for the blockchain work again to confirm this hypothesis. Currently the network is stopped a few hours. http://ancblockchain.com/chain/Anoncoin

*****

https://bleutrade.com/exchange/ANC/BTC

I thought the long block times where simply high difficulty?

Man, the devs really need to fix the difficulty adjustment right fucking now. Anoncoin is getting fucking raped. Look at these blocks - someone is mining a block every few seconds and then the difficulty just spikes up like crazy from 62 to 4000+

On another less serious note I've started exploring a new anoncoin logo and identity, comments?

I'll think about some more concepts. But this difficulty jumping, it's not only about the fact that blocks get stuck all the time. Anoncoin has had a very fair distribution so far and that's changing quickly, especially with the price rising multipools will absolutely rape it for all it's worth and dump it hard. A quick fix is needed for sure.

If they want to dump it hard let them. With only 5 days left until zerocoin I'm sure there are many who would be happy to pick up some cheap coins.

As an update, alot of invalid TXs got mined by me, seems someone was waiting for some huge amount of ANC from craptsy:

http://ancblockchain.com/block/976247b1d752cc051539152fbdad062754ccac176694058bf1345bc21ddc6c93

Cry I wished so much it was "a702d4f6530ec40e3bde6b14f24511b222cb8fb2ef88e721d26f35fea57d0d91"

still isn't mined it seems. It's 7 Days now. I mean O_o how stuck are these Blocks?
Not stuck, craptsy created "invalid" TXs which are against the rules to be included in blocks by default, probably due to greed so they can pay less fee. For the BTC network this works as other ppl do the same as i do.
Also i dont really have that much hashrate, so it takes a while.
Currently there are 84 unconfirmed TXs, il continue to create those blocks until all the TXs are gone.
For the future, stop using craptsy, i wont do this over and over again becase they are too stupid and violate the basic rules.

PS: i have your unconfirmed TX, therefore it will be sooner or later included into one of my blocks.

Code:
$ anoncoind  getrawmempool | grep a702
    "a702d4f6530ec40e3bde6b14f24511b222cb8fb2ef88e721d26f35fea57d0d91",

After Craptsy, we have Craptrade, mister K1773R? When are you going to question anoncoind source code?

Considering the fact that multipools dump their anc instantly (to pay out in btc), this is actually good for the distribution at this stage. It brings a lot of cheap anc to the market that would otherwise end up in the hands of a few miners. Now everyone get the chance to buy some.

At this point it is clear that there is much more than just a Cryptsy problem. We should take this very seriously and wait for the dev team to comment

hahaha, please, more FUD. Our HERO Wink will mine the 'lost' transactions. This happens all the time. Just business as 'usual.' Multipool makes difficulty skyrocket, transactions get delayed until next block is found at stupid high difficulty and exchanges rarely pay/transfer/move blocks in proper fashion. Just copy paste 'missing' transaction ID's to get included/moved w/in the blocks. In the meantime, please, lose more transactions/blocks/scream world is ending so price stops this stupid climb. Btc up, Anc up. No, go back down! Dragon, I am like you, still bleeding from pre jan and jan :/ prices are high? nope lol Cheesy lets just wait for 11/1/14!
