I am following this closely, Honestly, I don't think this is gonna end well. So many things sound too familiar with the Vega miners etc etc. The only difference is this thing was "kinda vouched for" by Adam Back, who is looking more and more likely to lose some cred at this point.
I think the risk of fraud is impossible or improbable, that is impossible because there is half the world in their footsteps, therefore, the guys from Halongmining and partners like Myrig and his supporters will not run away with the buyers' money, there is only one small probability or suspect that they can, instead, fill their bank accounts by playing with the money of others in trading or mining before the deliveries are completed, means that this hardware before being delivered will be used in their farms for at least 1 month generating profit for in the following, to be sent to the addresses of the buyers, moreover, the price is almost doubled from the day of the announcement. All to the detriment of decentralization and good social intentions of which the cryptocurrencies and the blockchain want to be the cornerstone. I'm not here to explain, but only to contribute to the chaos, because this is the side effect of their business policy. . BFL had 100x the exposure. GAW miners and paycoin even more. Yeah. They really can walk with all your BTC, even with this exposure

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Yoshi has always made good to me on every deal I did with him. Sometimes slow but always good.
So I will wait and not call it a scam. If he makes good on the deal I have with him I will post so. My deal is for 4-5 miners. In late March early April.
I can wait to pay until Late March. I can use pp or cc.
So I don’t have anything to say until late March.
Once I pay I will post. Once they ship I will post.
So sixty days from now I will post here.

Hope everything goes well, thank you for the effort Phil! When/if you get it, can you compare it with the pictures and details I posted earlier in this thread? I'd like to know if it has Innosilicon hardware inside (control board at least, most likely).

Do you believers not understand that Halong can keep your money and there's nothing you can do legally. If they don't produce anything your hosed, end of story. Bitpetit, Bitconnect, butterfly labs, the list goes on. They are not letting you purchase using USD, this way no one can go after them.

And the first thing I'd think is that the logo has been added in Photoshop after the pictures have been taken. Am I the only one who noticed this weird thing?
Good catch. It is not that it is a conclusive proof of anything, it could be that they did not bother getting a decal for their prototype, and faked it instead. Here is another: A whois-enquiry on halongmining.com brings absolutely zero contact info, their domain is registered via a company Contact Privacy Inc. in Toronto, that is there to ensure anonymity. Not a good sign IMHO. For the record, myrig.com is registered anonymously via WHOIS PRIVACY PROTECTION SERVICE, INC. But at least those guys have some contact info on their website. Their office address in Colorado is the same as old bitmainwarranty.com which apparently was a legit company repairing miners (but not connected to Bitmain despite their name). So that could bring some real brick and mortar support for the case ,at least if someone in Colorado goes to their office and checks.

They just receive stuff there. Still, they are a legit company.

So first we have promojo claiming to have a unit and talking it up.
He disappears.
Then Scott shows up claiming to have a unit but claiming he doesnt work directly for them. Then we find out he controls Halongs sales email.
He disappears.
Now a new halongmining account appears making even more claims.
How long until this account goes silent?
P.S. The general consensus from the big players at BTC Miami is that halong is 100% a scam. We couldnt find anyone that believed they had an actual product.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Yeah. What is weird IMO at the moment is.... This: 400x267 pixels picture. Really?
Yup because guys like you can't go zooming in. You can clearly tell its not an S9.... Wait til the video/pictures come out. Cheers. And then this, after I finally got a better look at the dragonmint: This partnership with Myrig.com is the most positive thing that has happened so far, but I'm affraid their retail price will be really really high, the same as with the S9 miners. Some new images are uploaded in the Myrig.com shop. I managed to find the high-res images, they were 'hidden'.
See this Imgur album for the picture found at DragonMint product page: https://imgur.com/a/WaHLdWe can finally have a slightly little better look at the miner. For cooling there seems to be two pieces Delta TFC1212DE, front and back, in a push-pull configuration. And I think I now know why the miner web configuration page was just like with the Innosilicon A5 and A4+. The DragonMint miner has the exact same controller board. See it for yourself, here is a picture for comparison: https://i.imgur.com/jxHeSP6.jpgAlso the steel case tube looks a lot like the one Innosilicon uses for the A5 and A4+. Maybe the Halong Mining actually has a subcontract for these miners to be manufactured by Innosilicon? And another design comparison here (pay attention to the controller with this image as well): https://i.imgur.com/a9sZcJa.jpgI surely can't be the only one who sees these similiar design details? One detail to also pay attention is that the Innosilicon control board uses reversed PWM signal for the cooling fan control. This method is not that commonly used. Delta TFC1212DE are cooling fans that are controlled with a reversed PWM signal. DragonMint and Innosilicon A4+, A5 miners use these cooling fans. This detail also supports my theory.

I assume Bitmain sent them a cease and desist on the name.

Hey Phil, thanks for sticking your neck out on this one. I actually hope it works out in the end and we have 1 more option to work with when buying miners (and it hopefully forces Bitmain to stop being dicks to all of us)

I'm sorry I've lost count is this now the 3rd release that they've had? Considering I've been following the thread since close to the beginning I can't say I'm shocked, but this is a bold play for a company who has yet to produce a single retail unit or give any sort of guarantee to their customers. And why oh why is it constantly a brand new account or some other variation bringing in these great opportunities, and in the right thread. Considering most first time posters can't even find the right section to make their first post. No one send them anymore money until at least the first batch has shipped out

It has the hallmarks of Syan Mining (recent scam) with units being pushed and not selling out just before........... It's all a bit worrying and yes agree batch 4 before even 1 was delivered, even 1 person could switch it on or even sign for the delivery. They seem legit but so has many before them so it is of great concern at this point.

With batch four they are not requiring the purchase of 5 units, which helps me think that it is not as much of a scam. On the other hand, similar to Syan, Halong is selling more often than Bitmain, which in my opinion, is a red flag for a scam.
