Yes. Privacy is something that is important to many, and few realize how easy it is to lose it. I'm in no position to judge this project any differently based on it's supposed utilization of tumblers/mixers, as I've utilized them before as well.
yeah I have to agree no biggie it went to an exchange. Behind the scene action is happening. whether it is for good we will know very soon. My buy date is still 55 days off as yoshi told me he will have 5 in late march and since we have done a lot of deals I can pay with cc. If he does comes through in late march I will post here. I still have no skin in this game. Hope it works out...me I don't have 'big enough ones' to toss $$$ that way...and me not really trusting these guys ..is saying a lot ..I'm usually the 1st ASIC cheerleader on the Bus! But again, still no decent demo, no pics..no zip....I mean just do something like this for crying out loud..it is not that hard and it is how you get sales! KNC demo from 2013 (ah the good old days..when you could have a site with line drawings for info..before demo and paypal protection on your kool aid drinking urges to buy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgNPIY9L8s4not that hard..just do this and I'll STFU! brad

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Looks like a few of the high rollers are getting into the game. By the time I get my hands on one of those 18Th. miners I would be lucky to ROI the miner.

At the rate this his happening..if they exist...likely the GMO miners out of Japan will blow all current talked about BTC miners out of the water.... so IF they are on track....a lot of BTC miners are gonna have to push their hoard out before around May 2018.....again...such stuff is rarely on track but would be quite the train wreck at the specs they are pushing if they did come out in May 2018 for the consumer (doubtful, just kibitzing here) https://news.bitcoin.com/japans-gmo-7nm-bitcoin-mining-boards-token-sale/

GMO just barely got their 12nm miner functional, 7 is still a LONG ways out
|
Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Do you have any more info about that? Like performance or if they plan to sell the miners to anyone.

This would be a dream come true. Quality miners in bulk, and Bitmain going to oblivion. I don't know which one would bring me greater joy.

If they have a 12nm miner functional with good performances they could sell miners to customers, but for a giant like them it may be not that important to sell some miners this year. Maybe they will wait for next year for the 7nm miners to blow off the mining market.

As an aside I heard the Samsung ASIC chips they admit making are going to Baikal. http://www.idownloadblog.com/2017/12/22/samsung-baikal-bitcoin/I see this is old news...from Dec 22nd, 2017..but just became aware of it. anyway, things are gonna get 'weird' by the end of spring, IMHO, in the ASIC world of crypto mining

Did anyone from the Halong Mining 'first batch' already got their DragonMint 16TH? I ordered them (5x, in total 12.5 usd), but I'm worried if they will be delivered... Just asking since I cannot remember when the first batch will be or is delivered. Mine will hopefully come in April (2018?).
Thanks for any reply.

Recent articles are a little vague, all Samsung said to date was : “Samsung’s foundry business is currently engaged in the manufacturing of cryptocurrency mining chips. However we are unable to disclose further details regarding our customers.” https://techcrunch.com/2018/01/31/samsung-confirms-asic-chips/ Some believe they are making the chips now for an unnamed Chinese hardware manufacturer, others speculate that Samsung will produce hardware themselves. Could Halong Mining be the unnamed company? That would be interesting, but I'm surprised we haven't seen more transparency yet from Halong Mining so I'm not sure I buy into Samsung as a partner... There's talk that if it's Samsung or another Chinese hardware manufacturer it could compete with Bitmain ... but what if the customer is Bitmain? I know Bitmain has bought it's ASIC chips from TSMC so it's possible that they'll continue that relationship, but who knows in this crypto arms race.

Ebang was mentioned before, as in the E10 18T having Samsung chips. Timing seems about right too. But as usual, who knows

It would be kinda weird if it wasn't bitmain.
Who would Samsung know would be a giant buyer from the off?
They ain't doing it for bitcoin's benefit. It's for their bottom line and it's likely bitmain is the one who'll fatten it the most.

I've heard Malaysian too. Any source you can point me to? Amazing these companies don't even have an address on their website.
