Looks like ActM is about to go below 0.003 BTC while Labcoin is about to go above 0.004 BTC. If you can't see the writing on the wall by now, you need an eye test.
I don't think anyone is denying that labcoin will have chips hashing before actm but I don't think this is a binary event where one player wins and the other loses. There's plenty of room in this market long term for 5-6 big players. welp... No. There are only so many coins to be mined. Wow - down to .0031 on btct now
Just 2 or 3 days ago, it was hovering around .005 - lost 40% in a few days.
Wonder how low it will go with Ken's cone of silence
I'd say it'll drop down to about 0.001-0.002 BTC while Labcoin will go to at least 0.01-0.02 BTC. After all, ActM will only have about 10% of the hashing power of LC in 10 days, so a fair price would be about 10% of what LC is going for. There are already 4 ASIC players who have delivered (BFL, Asicminer, Avalon (whatever their name is), Bitfury) & at least 2 that (claim to have) taped out. There isn't plenty of room for everyone, the delicious caek is already sliced too thin. ActM hasn't missed the boat, it just scuttled it in the harbour. just busy building an aircraft carrier while people are overjoyed they can quickly build tugboats. i sure hope actm gets that cheap. It pays to finish the aircraft carrier while the war's still on P.S: Don't despair, ActM bagholders! Nature is beautiful in its economy -- don't think of your investment as a loss. Think of it as someone else's gain

It's therefore possible to make 10x+ profits from both LC and ActM because their periods of major price rise will not be overlapping. Sounds good on paper, but if ActM brings out some major news it will recover fast. With no chips till November at the earliest, what news can ActM deliver that would allow it share price to rise significantly? Any such rise will be small and temporary and people will be more interested in LC. LC will have about 100x ActM's hashing power by the time ActM even gets samples. Then you'll see it's share price rise significantly.

Yes. True. But when that early November announcement comes, and when ActM begins manufacturing and shipping those miners, and begins mining on their own equipment, the price will shoot way up! The question is whether you all want instant profits or have a little patience and can wait to see the huge rewards and gains!?!?! The writing on the wall says, "Patience yields a great harvest!"Looks like ActM is about to go below 0.003 BTC while Labcoin is about to go above 0.004 BTC. I honestly hope this dumping keeps going on for a couple weeks. I have some BTC tied up in some other investments and if they do well I would love to go all-in ACTM asap
The long-term (1 year) potential of Activemining is through the roof, any long term shareholders that didn't expect a lull period are kidding themselves, please keep the dump coming boys and girls

Me too but maybe there will be big wall at 0.0025 because few will want to sell for less than they bought in. Anyways i'm glad i'm out.

I agree that ActM will shoot up in price in November, that's why it makes perfect sense to sell your ActM shares now and buy back around November. Labcoin's share price is going to shoot up in the next 2 weeks and by November, that rise will start to level off. That means that it's good to buy LC now and sell around November. That's pretty much the opposite of ActM, allowing people to reap profits from the rise of both assets share prices. If you hold ActM till November while it's price is stagnating at 0.001 BTC and Labcoin's is rising above 0.01 BTC, you're a fool.

I'm sure the Labcoin forum would love some chearleading of their own and you are a prime candidate.

I'm simply providing mathematical results and stating that it seems pretty obvious what's about to happen. If you want to ignore the maths, go right ahead, but facts are facts whether you like them or not. ActM is going down and LC is going up. That's not going to change till around November so you may as well sell out now while the price is still above 0.002 because there's not that many bids to keep the above that level.

He's trying to pump labcoin, but anyone that knows anything about Labcoin can tell it's going to be a gigantic waste of money as a company. That's why he keeps saying to buy and sell buy and sell because Labcoin has zero potential as a company but ActM has long term potential.
Does that matter in the interim? It's tough to argue that even though ActM is likely a much better long term investment than Labcoin, for the time being, Labcoin could be a much better spot.

What, exactly, is the fundamental value of ActM? Desire to make ASICs? Doesn't sound very *original* Anything beyond that?

What, exactly, is the fundamental value of ActM? Desire to make ASICs? Doesn't sound very *original* Anything beyond that? I mean, what's the "fundamental value" of any security? What's the fundamental value of AM? Whatever your answer is to that, it's the same for ActM, LC, etc. Now, whether they've fully realized that value is to be debated, but the aim is the same across the board.

Actually, I think AM, LC and ActM will all be pretty successful. After I've profited from LC and then ActM, most of my bitcoin will likely be going into AM but I'll be keeping a few thousand shares of LC and ActM.

I was buying and selling ActM since it was 0.0005 BTC and have made lots of profit from it. Despite Ken withholding my shares for an extra week, I sold them at about 0.0058 BTC as soon as I got them back and bought LC at about 0.0016-0.0019 BTC. The writing on the wall was obvious even back them. That's why I wanted my shares back, so I could take advantage of the LC IPO but Ken's incompetence screwed me over. Far from missing the rise, I've profited from it immensely.

I'm on this ship now because I accidentally bought a bunch of shares, at .0035 no doubt, in an attempt to place a buy order for LC. I am now stuck and have lost 20% in just the last 1.5 hours.

When are these meetings supposed to occur where the owners of 100,000 shares are allowed to attend?
What's the progress of these happening?
