Merit & new rank requirements

Admin has declared who the merit sources are. You can check the merits distributed there and if you see someone meriting posts of different users regularly, you get some hints there.

It will increase only when you get more merit points for your posts. You have got 5 merit points and thus 2 Smerits for it are added in your account.

Your sMerits only increase if you receive Merits from someone for your high quality, creative, original threads. You will get sMerits which equal to half of those Merits you earn from good posts. For example: If you receive 10 Merits, you will also have 5 sMerits in your account.

I have spent a couple of minutes and checked, your posts are not qualified enough to get Merits. However, I also have seen that their qualities improved recently. Keep up your improvement in quality, merits will come to your account sooner or later. Dont's give up, keep contribute to the forum and help other users.

I so much cherished the Idea of ''merit'' issue that shall objectively force out or reduce drastically to barest minimum unwarranted, unscrupulous, rudely, poor or low constructive, incompatible, senseless, non nonsensical and less significant POSTS in this forum. For all of guys who are afraid of merit, it is only running for 2 weeks, give it time, i bet on the future people will give merits when they see a quality post. And there will be a lot of quality posts in the future, because with this merit, it forces us to step our game to make good posts, so in the future there will be many of us who can make a great post, the key for now is to accept and learn.

You mainly post in Spam Megathreads. If the thread itself is only used to increase post count, posts aren't worth any Merits. You can easily see this by the fact that more than 95% of the people posting there hasn't earned a single Merit.

Report it in the Scam Accusations or Meta threads.  Post the web address of where you saw the communication.

But it was quite obvious that it will happen, I mean selling. Regarding you, yes, I see this problem for a new users, they can share useful info, but not getting merit, probably just because of their rank, I talking about psimological moment.

Hey Guys! I hope that along with +Merit system we will soon have an opportunity of putting  deMerit also! Every single day i try to learn from this forum and gain some new experience but it's so hard to do it because lot's of LQ/shitposts ! I think with  deMerit it will be way easier to find useful info, +merit it and hide LQ post! Also it will help  moderators  to get rid of flood so people can find more content!

Here is an example of what we are trying to stop. I have already reported this one and 4 like him today.
Those are easy to report but I think Theymos has to send PM to all the users with the new rules in order to reduce the spam from all the unaware coming with the same question about merit. I suggested this earlier.
