I think the second one is best, it is explicit.

For "Includes fee", as a beginner you may not have picked up what the fee is so you don't have clarity on what you are actually paying. Plus the fee will change in the future so it will always be clear if you msis the announcement of the fee change.

Or just this?

Yes, I think this is what I said while we were typing Smiley

Maybe change the word "total" to make clear that only 1 nxt will come of of the account until the assests are actually sold. Some may think that as they are *selling* they will get the 1000 and 1 nxt immediately and not realise what they are actually doing is *putting them up for sale*.

(Drifted into Ciyam's style for a second there, I don't know what came over me)

To what?

TOTAL VALUE (ONCE SOLD)

TOTAL VALUE (ONCE BOUGHT)

? anything better (shorter)?

Maybe add a tiny question mark icon to hover over to give more explanation for me and Kodtycoon  Grin. Then it won't clutter your nice interface too much.

Otherwise:

Sum when sold
Sum of sales completed
...

Nothing works that well..

Why not...

"
Total
100 NXT once all assets have sold
"

You have a string of text for the first option so it wouldn't hurt to do the same here, IMO.

I've completed the 1st draft of my article about forging from a probabilistic point of view: http://www.docdroid.net/9yub/forging.pdf.html

Comments, suggestions, (and donations Wink) are welcome!

Please, discuss it here: https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=836 (or send me a PM). Unfortunately, I won't be able to follow this thread in the next few days.

e.g., if  an  account  has  more  than,  say,  300K  NXT,then it forges as if it had exactly 300K NXT

Are you planning to run the math for the optimal forging limit figure?

Edit:  Are we looking at something like...  Optimal Forging Limit == 333,333,333 / Total Number of Nxt Accounts

Or are we looking at something like...  Optimal Forging Limit == [(Total Amount of NXT Forging)/3] / Total Number of Nxt Accounts

Caught this by the way...

(corresondingly correspondingly, at least 1=2 in the case of Exp-algorithm)

Really glad Nxt has you on board!    Smiley

This should be added to the whitepaper. Can someone do it?

Is testnet down? I cannot connect with Wesleyh client.

Works for me. Error? Which browser?

I can register a new acc, but can't log in.
It says "Could not connect."

Chrome, btw.

No errors here in chrome.. weird.. Right click, inspect element anywhere on the page and choose "console" tab. Any errors in there?

This could be an failure on my side. Can't connect via Marcus' NXTsolaris to any node for days...

When you click on the above links manually, do they load? If not, then yes it's on your side. Perhaps it's blocking access to port 6876?

Yah, can't connect to the links above. But inside my router and my modem I can't find any port blocking!?

There is a display of nodecoins earned, paid out, etc. It would be nice if half a dozen testers could just run in in a console window. Need to make sure the client/server networking is stable.

James

Put it on all 4 testnxt nodes let me know if it causes a problem...

can parallel chains be 1min blocks and 1s, 5s, or 10s out of sync so every 1s, 5s, or 10s one chain is forging?

Not sure.

If the block time is 60s,.... what defines when in a minute the 60s starts and can this be adjusted per chain perhaps?

Just to let you guys know that I will be "unwatching" the topic shortly.

It has certainly been an interesting ride but it has been made clear to me that "software engineering" is not wanted by those writing the software and therefore I feel that I have nothing more to contribute.

I wish you guys all the best.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

No, this is a fucking big loss for Nxt.
I don´t know what happened, but would like to have this clarified.

And would like CIYAM to stay and help us.

I am sure the community would like the software to be engineered for its long term success and devs can be influenced by the community. This is out of the blue to me so can we not come to some understanding on this?

Won't you reconsider? Or at least give us some background that we might have a chance to fix this?

TechDevFund and InfraStructureFund would be the places to start with proper project management - why not start with those two committees?

Of course this monster thread is monstrously unsuited for project management!

@ Native English people

Guys, I'm working on Digital Goods Store and need few words/phrases/terms for the following:

- To place goods for sale
- Opposite to above (when u cancel selling this goods)
- A comment that is left by a customer when they r (not) satisfied with the quality of purchased goods
- A tag that is used to describe goods to make it easier to find them (like "game", "online", "mmorpg" for online game codes)
- A process of send goods to buyers (actually it's publishing encrypted text on the blockchain)
