@jddebug non-english Winblows do have other names, as example i think its "Programme" in germany, therefore u dont have to escape it. it wasnt an offense, i just dislike it when someone is teaching/telling someone incorrect stuff, this leads only to problems.

Oh, you didn't offend at all. It took me forever to figure out how to get cgminer to work in the beginning. I was trying to be helpful but with limited knowledge about it myself. I appreciate the correction.

Thanks guys. Kentrolla, I tried what you said but it didn't work. I tried it exactly like you said and with the port added at the end of the pool URl :8332. Neither way worked. They did connect however as it said started mining and showed both my video cards, both bitforce singles and the cpu. Then it would stop and I would get the pop up that said bitcoin miner has stopped working. It seems especially odd since it did work one time for a little while until my Internet connection went out. I am wondering if some files might have got corrupted when that happened. I an thinking about uninstalling and then reinstalling Ufasoft to see if that has any affect. Other than that I have no ideas. I did get the cgminer working in the meantime with everything. I am seeing 2000-2800 mh/s with it generally staying aroung 2000-2100 mh/s. So I am getting to mine and use my new bitforce singles. I would still like to figure out what is going on with Ufasoft and get it working so any ideas are appreciated.

Yes, I know that and I have been trying a couple of miners I have set up. I deleted and reinstalled and after getting the blocks caught up I have got it to work again. Now hopefully it will stay running. I am keeping my fingers crossed and I am curious to see how my speed compares with the cgminer since I got it working while working on this. Thanks to everyone for your help.

What other miners have you tried? My fork of cpuminer is giving me better results, for both SHA-256d and scrypt.

Thanks again everyone. Ufasoft seems to be working fine for me now. I guess something had gotten corrupted when I lost my Internet connection that first time it was working. Anyway, now I have Ufasoft working and while I was working on it I also got cgminer up and working. It does look like Ufasoft is faster. Now for the next problem. I seem to be having problems with the miners and my modem. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=93382.0 for that one. It is labeled Modem problems under mining-hardware. Thanks again.

I prefer this as it's easier for me to setup. What CPU is that running on? and what overclock is used on that CPU?

EDIT: in a totally IDLE state cpuminer is getting 32MHash/s

hi, thanks, this program looks early an alpha state multiclient rather than a miner as if i am not wrong, it is trying to download the full blockchain it crashed several times after open it and also an error is reported each time i close it also it wroks a bit slow, just to open menus there is a delay i right clicked to select "mining" and all i get is [0 mHash/s] why? :s why the text of the program is blurry? is strange
