I think the most funny thing here is that the most part of this $5 billion was stolen Just like the most part of those gas subsidies. Here's where some of the money went: Timoshenko's mama's house: Timoshenko's house: Turchinov's friend's houses: Turchinov's house: Yatsenjuk's house: Yanukovich's residence: There are many more...

I think the most funny thing here is that the most part of this $5 billion was stolen In a sense. Most of it was spent as bribes. Some of it was given to Tymoshenko's people, some to the Right Sector Nazis. Even the people who took part in the Kiev protests received their daily wages. Also, a lot of the money was used to bribe the Eastern oligarchs, such as Renat Akhmetov and Gennadiy Kernes, to make them switch sides.

Hmmm , let's get Klichko out of this. He might have taken a few euros or more but unlike the others he had earned enough cash by himself to buy those houses.

Ok, I also heard that he got to drinking recently, having finally realised what kind of hell hole he dug himself into. I shall be magnanimous.

Those Americans are starting to get repetitive. Can't do anything, but laugh: Mary Harf of State Department said that US prepared a new package of sanctions, but told Russia "don't expect to have them imposed until after the meeting in Geneve tomorrow". State Dep. Russian steps for de-escalation in Ukraine (I get it, CIA is a Russian agency!), or they'll take additional actions, including sanctions." http://www.interfax.ru/world/372122 http://rt.com/news/eastern-ukraine-army-operation-680/19:02 GMT:
Ukraine’s acting prosecutor general, Oleg Makhnitsky, says that criminal proceedings have been launched against 14 banks – including Russia’s biggest bank, Sberbank, RIA Novosti reports. I wonder on what charges? As a ploy not to pay back for gas? Coup authorities in Kiev ordered to prepare bomb shelters: http://www.bfm.ru/news/254756?doctype=newsNervous, are we?

Yes, on the last two items, people commented along the lines of "Those guys in Kiev smoke quite strong weed". Bomb shelters. Maybe against NATO? On a more serious note. People are still attempting diplomacy, but I guess they'll be ignored again: 19:19 GMT:
Donetsk’s South-East Movement for Federalization has made a list of demands to the authorities in Kiev, reports Itar-Tass. Following the results of its first session, the group demanded a constitutional reform aimed at the federalization of the country, a pardon for anti-government protesters, a cancellation of the mobilization of forces, and an end to military operations in Ukraine. The gathering was chaired by presidential candidate Oleg Tsaryov.

There is a difference. I don't have anything against him.

A new Op-Edge on RT, taking different look at Ukrainian conundrum: Everyone blames either US or Russia, but what about the country, where the crisis actually unfurls? ‘Kiev wants to spark war between NATO and Russia’http://rt.com/op-edge/eastern-ukraine-military-operation-860/DW: No, of course, it’s silly. There is an old joke about the state secretary: “How can you tell that John Kerry is lying? Because his lips are moving.” He is paid to do that. I don’t blame him personally, but it’s hard to respond to lies when they are so huge and there are so many of them. Haven't hear that one!

Kiev knows that the Russian forces will exterminate theirs in less than 6 hours. So they want the NATO to intervene. But the problem is that Obama, Merkel, Hollande.etc are not interested in waging a war against Russia. And those who want to intervene (Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Rep.) don't have the balls to do that on their own.

It's like , hey this guy isn't like the others , I admit , he's not corrupt but man he has such drinking problems.... It was still a personal attack with no reason , just to make him look bad like the others.

It was still a personal attack with no reason , just to make him look bad like the others.I disagree on that point. It was actually meant as a way of showing that he's regretting getting mixed up with the others, but doesn't quite knowing how to get out of it. This might get perceived differently by Western readers, but if what I relayed is true, then people in Ukraine and Russia will see it almost as Japanese see committing sepukku to save one's face. Good news. Referendum planned for the 11th of May an Central Election Committee is being organised. There will be two questions (tentative proposition): 1. Do you agree with formation of an independent Republic of Donetsk? 2. Which state should Donetsk republic be a part of: Ukraine or Russia? There are 3.5 million people who can vote in Donetsk, so there'll be a lot of work for the Committee in the coming days.
