Stuhlman, can you explain why I cannot recreate the same account I had on NITRO1 because it reportedly correctly exists. Then I can login on NITRO2 with the same creds as on NITRO1, so far, so good. But whenever I start mining on NITRO2 everything appears on NITRO1. Any idea whyt could be the root cause?
Are accounts/workers attached to a pool by default and can't get out of it?
you only need to change port form 3337 to 4337 to start mining on nitro2 not sure. why would your results show on 1 unless your config did not save with that port. The two pools are not attached in any way. edit: if you post your config or email it to me I might be able to see why. You do not need to recreate account it's been done for you even the workers details are done. Like I said to start mining on Nitro2 only change 1 number port 3337 should change to 4337, can not get any easier. Will try this on monday because my rigs are not at hand now. But thanks for the reminder. Take care.

after my last attempt in trying to mobilize you guys failed badly (only 2 people actually took action and tweeted an utc request to moolah), i have less hope with this one here, but anyway: snapCard ( https://www.joinsnapcard.com/) - a bookmarklet service that lets you literally buy everything with bitcoin - is planning to expand their service to altcoins by april. they have a chat on their homepage.... so, what do we all want to know? go for it! [edit] I asked them about adding UTC and their answer came a few seconds later: "We're implementing some altcoins, but ultra coin would not be one of them. This is development in progress, but we're aiming for April on this... →okay, thanks for the prompt and honest answer " [/edit] narf. well obviously LTC is being added as Koolio is an snapcard fan .. shame he did not push them for UTC as well

Agree with you totally in the past few days we have deviated totally into this subject and that brings a negative aura. But to add to your point KNC announced the 100MH KNC Scrypt miner all the news are focusing on this, and we should be discussing this heavily as UTC is one of the few coins that is ASIC resistant right now and has an Honest Dev behind it. It's a shame that no one here is paying attention but the very few. I don't think Halo meant any harm by his post. But we really need to start pushing UTC into the side of coins like Vertcoin. Vertcoin was mentioned on every thread or news comment talking about KNC today. It should be a community effort today to bring UTC to the limelight as well. Exactly, looks like the time for highlighting one of utc main strenghts has come, promotion at the official and community level should try to ride the Asic miner wave and estabilish UTC as one of the top 5, before dozens of new asic-resistant coins come out ie Rotocoin launching in 2 hours and I imagine many more to come. Utc is now old and stable enough to be one of the top mid-to-longterm investment options vs the Asic Miner Revolution about to explode, it just needs just a little bit of spotlight.

Who will volunteer to be responsible for actively - twitter, forums, etc. - posting about UTC?

Everyone should do it.
Also I keep seeing these Twitter giveaways, very popular it seems.
They go something like this: "retweet the following in the next 24 hours and to have a change at winning 100/200/500 UTC"
Don't we have like 70k utc to use in the promotion fund?

call me crazy, but I think the wallet is a bigger issue. Having a bad wallet forces people to either deal with the headache or trust exchanges with holding their coins...
Edit: frustrated, since I'm trying to send some coins and it has been sitting at 0/6 confirms for about 30 minutes now, with 7 active connections to the network

The wallet problem was mentioned to bumface a few hours ago on crypto trade. Ziggy restarted the server cause "the blockchain was not hashing" This was supposed to solve the problems. Maybe you should try to restart your wallet once again...

Oh it finally confirmed, I knew it would so wasn't really worried about that, was just frustrated since this coin was supposed to be fast, it was one of the selling points and one of many ways the coin was designed to be appealing to miners, traders, and users. And there I was, sitting there waiting. Oh well, hopefully fix comes soon.

For instance, tomorrow, I will make a minimum of 5 posts regarding UTC on external articles regarding Scrypt ASICs. Five is such an easy and achievable number. All of us could do it. Just make sure to link to the website of course. But that is all we need to do. Nobody needs to carry the weight of this on their own two shoulders. Divide and conquer.

I would be down to repost those articles on FB/Twitter and I think we all should do at least that much. It will help boost the coin, including helping it do well in the search engines. Great work on everything man.

Just a quick one to talk about the truly impressive UTC stability even more since the last days. One word: WOW!
Actually we're not stable, but very slowly rising since 2-3 weeks => support is strongly being built. And we're raising in a way that suggest an excursion becomes more and more likely. This is excellent!
Now we need to work on our image and perception on the market. Remember: no fuss, no buzz. We need solid investors, the likes of which put their money in for the longest time. What we do not want: speculators and pump&dumpers.
But you know it.

Wall 0.135 at CT pair UTC/USD is going to end, was few days ago 10000$ now its only 1000$ Price should drop in next 24 hours This UTC/USD is most likely used by big miners who dump their coins on a daily basis. Once this price gets too low they will stop mining and switch to other coins. Therefore difficulty might lower. BTC/USD has stronger volume, so it would be interesting to see collateral effects.

That USD wall was what Admin @ CT put up over a week ago started at about 23k USD
