Hello
I mined ETC in this interval of time: 31/07 09:53:49 (UTC) - 31/07 12:49:33 (UTC) From my count on the home page where shows when the last block was found it found ... more than 10 block and the site posted 3 block? no orphan Can you make me understand how is it possibile. I use NiceHash and Mining Rig Rental sooo after 2 hours of mining whit 2.5- 3 Gh/s ( 0.02 BTC) and i get 1.3 ETC ( the equivalent of 0.003 BTC) when the counter of the blocks it reseted more then 10 times, so the blocks were found.
for 3G you should find average (now) Hour etc6.616 $11.754 Day etc158.784 $282.101 maybe luck was bad at that time? but when i see the stats the luck is good except for yesturday was bit less that 100% Luck wasnt bad it didnt record all of the etc block and now i am mining whit 5Gh/s to see if it hapens again or i get difered things like to say 12Gh/s pool - (5Gh/s is mine) soo i wana see how much it will give me per block if is below 40% ( 2-3 etc) of the block amount ( 5 etc - normal) i will post it here again ... to understand it better

i think because each block amount is splinted to all people of the pool , so you get less from a block if there is more other miners than you
but that doesn't mean you earn less, because more block are found if more miners
specially if you use miner on Ethash you mine eth & etc so miners switch that make big difference in the pool so it s normal there is a big difference in amount you earn on some block if you mine etc only
i understand like that correct me if i m wrong
the important think is, did the amount you earn on 24 hours (average) match what say the mining calculator what you should earn ?
mine don't match because my miners are not stable

Hello, As i see on the site the last bock was found 3 days ago. When a block will be found you will get paid. This is how it works.... you mine whit the pool a respectiv coin ( in your case siacoin) when the pool finds a block you will get paid ( not before) a part of the coins found in block ( procentual whit the work you made). Hope it helps

Hello, want to make clear regarding algo-switch for NVidia GPU 970s rig. Correct me please when I'm wrong 1) e.g. I want to use the pre-defined algo set " NVIDIA - Blake-Vanilla, Ethash, Groestl, Myriad-Groestl, NeoScrypt, Quark, Qubit, Skein, X11, X13, X15". I create a HUB-worker with the same job settings ( NVIDIA - Blake-Vanilla, Ethash, Groestl, Myriad-Groestl, NeoScrypt, Quark, Qubit, Skein, X11, X13, X15), set up the bat-file with all these algos (as shown at the sample page) to ports 12xxx and launch it 2) The ccminer shall run through all the starting commands and select THE MOST PROFITABLE ALGO (at the moment), and start mining THE MOST PROFITABLE COIN within this algo - am I correct here?3) If no AUTOEXCHANGE option is set, then the mined coins shall store in my account, waiting till I ether withdraw it to a definite coin's wallet or convert into some other coin (e.g. BTC). If I got the work flow right, then HOW DOES THE POOL EVALUATE THE MOST PROFITABLE ALGO FOR MY GPU (in my case - GTX 970)? Can I affect this setting somehow? Is it done only with the "difficulty" parameter for each algo in ccminer command line? Or in some other way? If it is "difficulty", then can anybody share the correct values for GTX970 for each of these algos (Blake-Vanilla, Ethash, Groestl, Myriad-Groestl, NeoScrypt, Quark, Qubit, Skein, X11, X13, X15)? Thanks in advance to everyone who can help!!! Or please PM me!!!

Hi,
Been using NH to mine Blake-Vanilla for some time everything was ok, Now I am getting a "Pool difficulty too low" message.
Thanks.

Hi Sorry for late reply. I think nicehash adjusted minimum difficulty lately. I modified pool's minimum difficulty too. Now it will work as before. Thanks.

Hi, I am mining at GlobalBoost-Y Pool but no payouts have been made since the 26th of july.
In fact, the only numbers that show in the dashboard are the hashrate.

Thanks.

Hello

Sorry for late reply. I'm afraid that you got less than expected. You mined less than 3 hours so it is hard to say about block finding luck. ETC pool was quite small at that time, reward fluctuated much. Here's detailed block info about your mining period. https://ethereum-classic.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks&height=1981259&next=11982892 Confirmed anonymous 31/07 12:49:33 (UTC) 6,745,685,955,616.00 5.001260 467,528 878,692 134,789 28.83 1982879 Confirmed anonymous 31/07 12:46:14 (UTC) 6,755,594,623,216.00 5.000000 468,215 995,145 509,101 108.73 1982804 Confirmed anonymous 31/07 12:29:22 (UTC) 6,745,819,303,354.00 5.000420 467,537 1,163,949 1,141,525 244.16 1982636 Confirmed anonymous 31/07 11:50:34 (UTC) 6,719,760,926,365.00 5.157090 465,731 1,761,991 3,569,786 766.49 1982108 Confirmed anonymous 31/07 09:53:49 (UTC) 6,574,158,873,068.00 5.156250 455,640 479,705 653,708 143.47 Pool found 5 blocks during that period. Last column is the percentage, about block finding luck thing. You would see 766%, 244%, 143% which are quite bad. (Less than 100% is good, higher number means bad, unlucky) The block finding count you mentioned seems like from the main homepage view. It is realtime raw data that is updated from pool backend software, not validated from main blockchain. This works well usually, but ETC had some weird issue which made block sync stuck time to time. This is already well known issue at ethereum dev community. https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/issues/2857You would have already heard about replay attack. Similarly, ETH and ETC shares same protocol between each blockchain, and it stop to process new block when some wrong data is transferred from other blockchain. So, geth (ethereum wallet) had to be restarted, recovered at that time. I think new block message was coming from that stuck situation. So, new block is found but it was useless because of sync error. Good thing is that, the issue is resolved from pool and there would be no similar issue any more. I couldn't see this kind of issue from yesterday. So, you mined less than 3 hours which were very unlucky period and got less than expected. I would recommend you to mine longer period, with smaller hashrate. 3 hours of mining was very short time period for small pool. Now ETC pool grew a bit, but still our hashrate share is about 2~4% of total. It's quite small as you know. Sorry for inconvenience.

Sooo why do i get less rewards ?
Can someone explain to me?
(1) Pool is using PPLNS. So you get less at starting blocks, but get more from last blocks. You even get few round of rewards even you stop mining. So your reward increases time to time, and finished smoothly. (2) Also block reward were not same between those blocks. Highest reward 3.90881029 at 1983050 block's reward is 9.535138, which is not usual reward 5. 90% increase. It explains why you got much more from that block. And block height 1983104 block reward is 3.75 which is 25% less, and you got similar to that also. Block reward is not same because of uncle blocks. (1) PPLNS calculation and (2) block reward variation made this situation. Seems like there's nothing wrong. Thanks.

Seems like one broken GPU made things stuck. Happy to see that you already found the solution.

Hello, what with statistic of siacoin? I mined for 2 days and no coins on my balance. With nminer on comptuter is all OK.
Hi Siacoin is very slow coin(10min block time) and our pool is small currently. Here's block finding statistics from blocks page. https://siacoin.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocksCurrently pool found 6 blocks total. Pool finds block quite rarely, about one block a day. This is why you didn't get reward at that time. Don't worry, you get appropriate reward like other pools. I hope more hash to come. Then it will be solved smoothly. Thanks.

Hi Sorry for late reply. I had some problem personally lately. 1) e.g. I want to use the pre-defined algo set " NVIDIA - Blake-Vanilla, Ethash, Groestl, Myriad-Groestl, NeoScrypt, Quark, Qubit, Skein, X11, X13, X15". I create a HUB-worker with the same job settings ( NVIDIA - Blake-Vanilla, Ethash, Groestl, Myriad-Groestl, NeoScrypt, Quark, Qubit, Skein, X11, X13, X15), set up the bat-file with all these algos (as shown at the sample page) to ports 12xxx and launch it -> That's right. You're doing correctly. 2) The ccminer shall run through all the starting commands and select THE MOST PROFITABLE ALGO (at the moment), and start mining THE MOST PROFITABLE COIN within this algo - am I correct here?-> Actually ccminer is not selecting what coin to mine. Pool decides according to hub switch you selected. If ccminer tries to connect to not most profitable algo(coin) endpoint, then pool just disconnect it. ccminer will try with next algo. Pool will accept connection until ccminer tries with appropriate algo endpoint. As profitability changes time to time, pool accepts/disconnects ccminer's connection by it's own mechanism. 3) If no AUTOEXCHANGE option is set, then the mined coins shall store in my account, waiting till I ether withdraw it to a definite coin's wallet or convert into some other coin (e.g. BTC). -> You're right. -> Profitability calculation includes "mathmatical block finding probability (net difficulty of coin)" + "block reward" + "market price" + "monthly average block finding luck from pool" + "GPU hash performance for that algo (Normalization)". What you asked is mostly about normalization. To compare each algo's profitability for each gpu performance. Pool don't have optimized set for GTX 970 currently. But pool have hashrate performance data between different algo for AMD and NVIDIA. Yes, only 2 types are available. The idea is that NVIDIA gpu works similarly with other NVIDIA gpu, and AMD gpu works similarly with other AMD gpu. I know that there is difference between each gpu product but it's hard to track and decide from pool side. Actually optimizing for each GPU product approach is not that efficient also. I'll explain the reason. Here's internal work of auto switching. Auto switching only switches when target coin's block is found. So, no switching occurs until block is found. If switching occurs too frequently even block is not found then miner would have to jump all over very inefficiently. So auto switching needs minimum hashpower to find block and switch. If every GPU uses optimized value for each of them, their hash would be spread for many coins and stuck finding their block. If you use NVIDIA gpu, then stick to NVIDIA switches. It will work smoothly than expected. ccminer's difficulty setting is to adjust difficulty multiplication between pool and miner. You would need to specify it with some numbers like Qubit algo, but normally you don't need to. Thanks.

Hello I have some ETH stuck in exchange, can you please clear them up, the price is tanking and i don't wanna loose more than i already did thanks! Seems to be no reaction from admins! I have some coins stuck after AutoExchange - wanted to convert into BTC, the Balance page says the coins are ON EXCHANGE, but BTC wallet shows 0 for several hours already!!! @miningpoolhub admins, any chance to resolve it??? Such slow flow ruins the idea of mining!!! not to mention that the price of ETH is tanking by the minute since yesterday which was 12 USD now it is 9 USD and dropping i'll wait a couple of hours and if the situation continues i move my rigs to another pool... pity, i really like this one, but things like that kills my earnings, and this is a business for me, not a hobby , so... Sorry for late reply. I couldn't reply lately due to personal problem. I don't know your id, so I can't investigate what situation you are in. But normally, the delay comes from withdrawal, not exchanges. Exchange happens as soon as coin is arrived at exchange site. I'm sure that your coins were already exchanged at that time. Withdrawal is only done when some amount is piled up to reduce withdrawal fee. I think you understand what it means. Maybe if you want to control on your own, just input your exchange site's wallet address and make it auto payout and exchange it manually. Auto exchange is helpful feature from pool but not mandatory thing.
