Is the pool having issues? I woke up this morning to no mining   My miners were getting auth errors while Multi-algo mining. One had managed to get connected mining sgminer coins, but the other was in a auth error loop. After faffing with it for nearly an hour all is working again, even though no actual changes were made on my end. Neither has tried to swap to ETH/ETC/EXP while I've been watching the past half hour, even though ETH based coins are more profitable at the moment.

Both are mining skein right now. I've been having a running battle with BitDefender 2017. It keeps deleting/blocking mining programs, even though they are in a EXCLUDED folder and allowed through the firewall..........FFS.

Claymore's "-retrydelay -1" option does not work as intended currently. It doesn't close program immediately, but waits more than 10 minutes after network failure
(network or authorization failure is intended for auto switching. When current algo is not the most profitable, then pool sends authorization failed message or close connection to alarm client to try next algo).

So I don't recommend using "retrydelay -1" it at this moment.
I sent PM to Claymore about this issue, but he had not released bug fixed version yet.

It's being added; watch this forum for when it's announced. The other algos are not profitable on GPU and would slow your script for no reason.

Anyone else having trouble with MPH's sgminer resetting their PSU when mining skein? No problems with zec/eth, but when the unit switches to skein I hear a strange low pitched ringing sound from the PSU and it resets itself after a few minutes. All algos are using the same power at the wall (~900w).

and your powersupply is?
if the PSU is the one whinning, this is the previous step before blowing up, you should reconsider lower the load, or change it.

I was quite surprised with that thread. Quite brilliant trick. Claymore would fix this issue with bug fixed miner. Or pool would change network logic to force disconnect the miner. (Currently pool closes connection gracefully and it doesn't seem to alarm miner)

yeah. I'm going to add monero pool soon.

All algo doesn't mean that you get the most profit because GPU doesn't work well at some algo like Keccak and Scrypt. When your gpu ran keccak for hours, gpu gets into some weird Keccak mode that other algo mining does not perform like before. You need to cool down few minutes and reboot to solve then.
This is why I don't include all algo.

Surely, I'll add monero to new switch when I add that pool.

I have no idea about it. I recommend you to change PSU or lower the GPU intensity option.
