I am not in favor of this idea right now because this gap is surely having his impact, and we can't bring any positive from this if we have this idea in running from the start then surely things could be different and many countries could be able to have teams for this long run format, but now it's not going to have anything ideal.
Jagmohan Dalmiya was the cricket lover but his all amazing ideas and work ruin by Srinivasan/Pawar mafia which hurt this game in long run as well now with this all we are having good idea to develop franchise cricket and enjoy with this.

Test is now played of just 8 to 10 countries game which will surely have changes in near future as well because when we will have not good funding for the domestic setup which is needed then surely more players will be gone for these franchise instead of going to play this long term format which is also having no salary which is needed to stay in this format.

Well... you maybe right. Now there is no point in starting the ICC Intercontinental Cup. Participating in the longer version takes a lot of resources and funds. During the Dalmiya era, there was a lot of support being directed towards the associate nations from the ICC. The governments were also quite supportive because back then the squads were mainly comprised of native players. Srinivasan/Pawar mafia ruined everything. They destroyed genuine teams such as Kenya, and then propped up fake teams such as United States and the United Arab Emirates.

Currently we have mafia which is running this game, and they have no long run vision which help this game and have any ideal thing in near future with this all most chances test format will lose more fans in few countries due to its length and not proper support just 5 to 6 countries are able to have something from this, but I read legendary Aussie skipper Ricky Pointing also concerned about this format and want some changes hopefully we will have anything positive from his side which encourage ICC to bring changes for entertaining purpose.

I as well feel like, after Dalmiya we have no cricket lover in ICC which is the biggest loss because I personally feel Dalmiya was good administrator with having heart which was really have special love for this game as well but now mostly are trying to shine their business instead of game.

Also Nepal has a long way to go before they’ll get the test status but in the meantime they need to make the most of their limited opportunities and continue developing with the limited funding that they get.

Middle east is full of expat from the subcontinent. They want to cash the craze of cricket that these people have. That is the reason they are buying players to play for their team from the subcontinent. That allows these expats to relate themselves to the player. After football, cricket is the second most watched sports in the world. If ai am correct it is in the top 5 high revenue generating sports in the world.

It has actually become a problem for cricket that we have for players playing in the national team of other countries. No other sports this is a thing. If you do not have native players you cannot make a team. I mean a national team. That's how simple it is. But in cricket we have that going on. And the biggest surprise is that the ICC is not taking any action against it. Of course, they must have some kind of verbal dam with India that they are not going to cause any problems in this matter because eventually, these are Indian people most of the time who are actually finding some job opportunities and also earning money because of playing cricket in other countries.

Nepal have got great popularity in cricket and they should be supported more by ICC for growth of cricket in their country,  India have no comparison with anyone they have cricket in their veins and these people are die hard fans of cricket so is Pakistan.

I agree. This was the scene from the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, during the final of the ACC Premier Cup which was played between Nepal and the UAE (Nepal defeated UAE in this match and eventually qualified for the Asia Cup):

Bowling could be key for this final as mostly we have English pitches favorable for them with batsmen also needs to have some better technique injuries are surely going to have some impact but still players pool is increasing, and many youths are going to have chances as well which will increase test quality here.

Anyone interested in the test match between Ireland and England? Ireland just won a tour match against one of the county sides (Essex) by a big margin. The test match will be played at Lord's, starting from 1st June. England has announced a full-strength side as the will use this opportunity to get some match practice for their next series (Ashes, starting from mid-June). Quite packed schedule for test cricket in June. First we have the WTC finals from 7th June onwards, and then the Ashes will start on 16th June. And then there is a test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan scheduled for 14th June.
