Australia had the perfect opportunity to take the follow on and invited Pakistan to bat again. Their moral was low and they could have easily taken 2 -3 more wickets today making the winning seal for the Aussies.

However, i do not understand what make Pat Cummins not to take the follow on and go for another round of batting

Most of you people know that I am from Pakistan and support my country's decision on most of the things related to cricket but I also fail to understand this decision of the PCB to make the result-less wickets. If we make good wickets and loss to Australians, that is acceptable because they are a good team but making dead pitches on the most awaited tour after 14 years is no good thing.

So now you must have fair idea of its not the pitch rather teams that matter most. Pakistan is definitely at the verge of losing there first test against mighty Aussies. Aussies should have taken the follow on option and finish the game by 4th day. Still I am hopeful Pakistan can't win this game nor draw the game.

You can say that the Indian side has been playing within India and that can be the reason for the stellar performance but psychologically this team now has a positive attitude and high satisfaction level. It's time for BCCI to find a replacement for Kohli. Kohli has not been in form for a long time. The BCCI still kept him with the squad. He has been given plenty of time to return to the form. But he failed. India has a lot of talented young players. Now BCCI should give a chance to these young players in Kohli's place and give Kohli some rest.

Theoretically this might be right, he hasn't had the best performance in last two years, but you will say this only if you compare it with Kohli what he was in earlier years, if you take reference of an average batsmen his stats aren't that bad, he hasn't scored a hundred but has a decent batting average, but yes india wants some impactful innings from him and not just average batting, i feel it's just the captaincy that is actually keeping him going otherwise he would also be a fly in the eye of selectors as there is such a big competition for a spot in test cricket team.

I think that maybe he should be given another chance. If this was anyone else then I would have also said that he should be dropped but this is Virat Kohli we are talking about. I think one more chance couldn't do too much harm. But obviously, I can be wrong, But I genuinely believe that dropping him from the team will not be the greatest Idea now.

Even with Virat kohli captaincy India would have won this series very easily. Virat has been the best test match captain for India so this series win was always expected.

Agreed. India has been performing well against weaker teams, but they need to prove themselves by performance well against tough teams like Australia across all formats.

I didn't expect them to decimate Pakistan in the 2nd test though the test hasn't concluded yet. They performed really well without Hazlewood and Khawaja has been brilliant so far. Excited to see top teams like India and Aus clash soon.

I agree that it’s not about the pitch it’s about the approach and Australian player’s applied the correct approach, and I think that they’ll declare pretty soon so that their bowler’s can have enough overs to bowl out Pakistan player’s. Lastly I doubt that Pakistan can draw this match, because Australian bowler's were on a roll and hence I sincerely doubt that team Pakistan can last for long when they come into bat against them.

Very professional and spirited performance from Australian first in batting then in bowling they completely destroy Pakistani batting line up with their quality bowling Starc and Debutant Swepson's magical spells done good work for Australia no Pakistani batsman has any reply of this quality bowling and lost their wickets like crap on a batting wicket where Australian batting line up give them huge task.

Now Australia having 81/1 in second inning with most chances they will play first session and then give batting to Pakistan where they need to chase the biggest impossible target and avoid this sure defeat which is just because of PCB's poor working and management because they were preparing flat pitches, but now these are also going against them.
