First session and so far Indian batters looked troubled when facing spinners, it would be interesting to see if they trust their defence technique or not.

If pitch start deteriorating during second inning then i'll feel sorry for the SL, they are up against Ashwin-Jaddu-Axar. I wish they put up some fight against this spin trio.

Credit for this 252 goes to Shreyas Iyer 92 runs innings rest of the batting just collapsed infant of SL bowling. Pitch is definitely for slow bowlers as 8 of Indian wickets were taken by Lasith Embuldeniya, Praveen Jayawickrama and Dhananjaya de Silva.

If i'm being honest then i think they got the sweet deal and got off easy because this is historic series but what a shame.

I remember Aus vs Ind boxing day test match. That particular pitch received a shitload amount of hate from the fans and guess 3 demerit points from the ICC, also some ban threats locally.

Now we are in second session of fifth and final day of this first test match between West Indies vs England Centuries from Root and Crawly help England to manage some interest in this dead match as pitch is not helping bowlers and target of 286 in just 70 overs look very interesting in this match even most chances we are heading for a draw but still West Indies can take some chance for having lead in this series because they have few batsmen which can provide them very good position against poor England which is already without their main bowlers and now lost Mark Wood due to elbow injury in first inning of this test match.

Here start is not positive from West Indies as they are going for defence but let's watch what happen in last session as it looks very good decision from Root and England.

It's surely shameful act from PCB that for this historic test series they are bringing pitches like this because surely these are not going to help in any case just dead matches with some good batting practices.
After end of first day Australia in good position with 251/3 and Usman Khawaja is still on crease with his second hundred of this series now most chances we can watch huge target by Australia for Pakistani batsmen because they also understand this all and try to give some good rest to their bowlers on this dead pitch as they already have new spinner for good assistant of Lyon with few part-timers are also available in this team.

What an end for first day of this first day/night match on Indian soil as we have 16 wickets and 338 runs with this result look like here we can place a bet for over/under 3 days because most chances we are going to have very early end of this test match with easy win for home team as Sri Lanka is short in this format and having massive problem for not good and skilled batsmen available after their golden era in this game.

I have seen lot of criticism being done on social media for making dead pitches. I understand that home teams make the pitches in their favor in order to minimize the strength of the opponents but this does not mean that you start making dead pitches which produces no result.

170? I would be surprised if they even cross 120, I feel no matter how low India scores in the second innings as well, there is no stopping India from winning this match, if you count the batsmen only Dickwella is there on the pitch and on the other end the tail has already started.

After the first match I was like okay both the teams might have great batsmen, but if all the matches go like this obviously no team would like to play on such tracks, These days bowlers are given much more importance in test crickets, Pitches have to be suitable for either pacers or atleast spinners otherwise no point playing matches. Even India has impressed remarkably in this context, I remember how 15 years ago test matches in the subcontinent used to get scores of 500-600+ you don't see that hapenning these days.
