^^ Australia tour of Pakistan and England tour of West Indies are the two series that had pitches that are not helping the bowlers in a long time, any series before that we used to see results and if the match ends up in a draw it would be a competitive one. This is a rare series and hopefully we will see competitive pitches in the upcoming matches. England and West Indies will end up in a draw, Australia and Pakistan ended in a draw. Lets see how the rest of the series goes.

Your analysis may be true in case of Pakistan, though i firmly believe that Pakistan is capable of beating Australian as they did in 2018/19 in UAE. But WI have recently won ODI series against England, why they made a pitch like that ? We have one test coming up in lahore and chances are that pitch will he made in a way that match must not draw.

The criticism PCB has faced after first two test matches will definitely will be in minds before making the pitch for final test match. Australia bowlers have shown good performance even on dead surface of karachi pitch. PCB has every right to make pitch of his choice just like Warner has right to hit six on dead ball of Hafeez. Is there any icc regulations on making pitch for test ?

I really don't understand what's the point of playing if you are not going to go for the win! and the people of the whole world expected some great things to happen in this test series as it is a historical test series hosted by Pakistan.

But, now I can say that everyone is disappointed saying the steps that Pakistan took. if the 3rd test match also ends in a similar way I think Pakistan is surely going to get a lot of hate from even the Pakistan fans, and this is obviously not good for test cricket itself.

WI vs ENG 2nd test Day 5 ENG session 1 England still batting and now 281 runs.England is strong site in test cricket but this series WI played really good cricket and showed Their good performance. Specially , Kraigg Brathwaite played outstanding and he defenced a lot of ball.If this test match will be draw i think this test match will be draw to end.

Most chances we will have no positive results from these both series because currently West Indies is in not good shape, and they are bringing flat pitches for having some better results for their team instead of supportive their quality is not good enough for facing England.
In Pakistan case, it's same happening with Pakistan is already in some good position for qualifying into WTC final and staying at second spot behind Australia they need some more points for this spot which is only possible with these flat pitches with Australia is currently world's most attractive and best team in presence of quality batsmen and bowlers and Pakistani youths have no good experience to face them, so they are doing these dirty tactics for WTC points and staying alive against quality teams.

I think in West Indies' case it makes sense but in Pakistan's case, it really doesn't. I think they had the quality and players to face Australia. I really expected Pakistan to give them a good fight but I really didn't think they will just pussy out and make flat pitches to go for the draw.

Right now too much talk about this series and now about this last test match with this all now I am also feeling we can face something special or have this decider could be in good and positive way because after have two first test matches as draw peoples are badly disappointed and want something positive before we have three ODI and one T20.

But, as you and few others feeling they will never disappoint their guests it's also case, so we have to wait for this test match and then going for betting is better decision because in test match we have some good chances for getting good odds and placing bets on our desired results. There was a chance for Australia in the second match, but a bad decision ruined this, and now they are feeling bad about this all.

Today as we started fifth and final day of this second test match between West Indies vs England after having some good and quick batting from English batsmen there were good criticism about these tactics that they can lose this match but now after just 25 overs it seems very good decision because Leach and Mahmood done good job and remover three batsmen very quickly now West Indies is in defense with two first inning centurions at crease and trying their best for survive of remaining match with now 40 overs left in this match if England takes one or two more wickets than surely we can feel some more thrill in this match otherwise it's all going to be drawn again on flat pitch and bad tactics from West Indians they need to be more supportive for better results in future.

The match ended in a draw but what is striking is that apart from Kraigg Brathwaite no one the players were able to play for a longer period of time which means if England would have give a target of 240 runs to chase or 10 more overs left then there was a chance for them to pick the rest of the wickets and may be probably win the match.

Either way it is good to see teams touring Pakistan after a long gap and now only India is the only country that is not interested to tour Pakistan and that too due to political reason. The fans would love to see the match either way and i did not see any highlights either but how are the crowds in Pakistan, are the stadiums getting full.

Australia : They seems favoraite to play in the WTC finals but they have atleast 7 tough games against India and South Africa (Proteas always play excellent cricket in Australia). OZ need to tread carefully with these 2 series and then may be try not to be complacent against SL on spin track.

South Africa: Protea has a potiential, atm they are playing against Bangladesh with their 2nd string team due to IPL. Hope this doesn't comes back to haunt them.

Pakistan : Strong candidate, if they manage to produce result oriented pitches. If every home game is ending with draw then they have no chance.

India : Tricky and tight situation because of Australia but they are still hanging there. Aussie are always tough opponent, ideal situation would be 3-1 or 3-0 to India. Different outcome could potentially dent India's dream. Hope Bangladesh series goes well for India, lot will depend on rain. Also 1 tough away game in England, poms seems to getting their act together.

I really thought Pakistan had the ability to give Australia a good fight on a good bowling pitch but I think they just did not want to take that chance.

The defensive stance taken by the PCB (with regards to the pitch preparation) is above all an insult to the Pakistani bowlers. By preparing such sub-standard pitches, the PCB is indirectly hinting that their bowlers don't have the ability to take wickets in good tracks, and they are inferior to their Australian counterparts. This actually surprises me because for long Pakistan was considered as the pace powerhouse of South Asia. A lot many legendary pacers, including Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Aaquib Javed and Waqar Younis represented Pakistan in the past.

Latest update: The test cricket returned to Qadafi Stadium after 13 year.Aussie are going to bat first.  The pitch seem to have a bit of moisture, Pakistan must gain some wickets with new ball to break the partnership of Aussie strong batting line. If Aussie makes huge score like before it will be difficult for Pakistani to win the series. Do you think bring Faheem Ashraf instead of Naseem shah is a good decision?

Shaheen Shah did take two early wickets but it was very early in the match. Now the things have settled and also the pitch look good for batting. Its too early to say who will win the match or whether this will be another draw.

Edit: Smith is gone. Will this be a turning point in the match?
