I think Pakistan has The upper hand in this test match right now because they have scored a good amount of runs at the loss of only one wicket. And if they can survive the first session tomorrow they will be able to score a lot more runs. They have to score really big because they don't have the strength in bowling because of injuries. If Pakistan can score something around 550 its will be enough in my opinion.

As of now Pakistan is in good position to win the match. However once after the first innings of Australia we can get into conclusion on the match results. Pakistan is quite strong with the top order and even by tomorrow morning session the wickets won't fall big. If I'm not wrong Pakistan will declare the innings by the end of day 2. Good decision to bat first after winning the toss.

My better half had a pass for 1st day of gameplay but due to busy schedule i failed to visit stadium. I missed the Kohli inning on telly but watched the Pant's madness for like to 30 mins. Extremely happy for him along with the Vihari (this guy is real successor or Dravid and Pujara at number 3 and i want him to succeed in future)


India is extremely lucky to have Jaddu-Ash duo at no 7-8. One of the major reason they are ridiculously dominant at home. Because of this combination, even draw match looks like a lose at home conditions.

Ravindra Jadeja finally played like the potential he really had and scored a big ton and whenever he scored a century he remains unbeaten and hopefully he will be consistent with his performance.

Anyways, you are right pitch isn't good for bowlers at all, before the match I thought spinners could enjoy the game while pacers obviously would struggle, but even spinners haven't really got any juice out of the pitch. Now it will be interesting to see Aussie batting, if they also are able to bat this easily just like Pak did, obviously match would end as a draw, but with an older pitch if the Pakistani Spinners can do some magic, the match will be an easy win for Pakistan without even coming to bat again. Even though both the Pakistani Spinners don't have much experience so it will be interesting to see how they play this high pressure match with Aussies.

Why is security always been a concern while playing in Pakistan? Do you think the tight security and threats to the player doesn't make players conscious? It does, even Aussie players got threats to call off the match and return back  to their county like NZ team. I saw a video in which people chatting slogans during Pakistan and NZ match - why were they shouting "security" when it has nothing to do with cricket.
