If you say that Australian bowlers performed badly because they were afraid and conscious about the security, I think it is straight-up dumb reason. That's probably the best security that could ever be given to a cricketing team. I think the actual reason is the pitch doesn't seem to be helping the bowlers at all. Right now Pakistan has declared their innings for 476 runs and Australia is still trailing by 471 runs.

Haha, I don't know who is giving this stupid excuse of security concern. Anyways, you are right pitch isn't good for bowlers at all, before the match I thought spinners could enjoy the game while pacers obviously would struggle, but even spinners haven't really got any juice out of the pitch. Now it will be interesting to see Aussie batting, if they also are able to bat this easily just like Pak did, obviously match would end as a draw, but with an older pitch if the Pakistani Spinners can do some magic, the match will be an easy win for Pakistan without even coming to bat again. Even though both the Pakistani Spinners don't have much experience so it will be interesting to see how they play this high pressure match with Aussies.

This is just going to be a boring draw between these two teams in the first test because the pitch is just heaven for the batsman and the bowlers are not able to extract anything out of the pitch. The third day has already ended and the first innings of the team batting second is still nowhere to be ending. Unless something really unexpected happens this is surely going to be a draw. And I think none of the team are stupid enough to suddenly think about winning this match and taking on the bowling

Exactly as expected, the type of pitch we were having it was expected this was going to happen, it was just Pakistani fans who were too excited about pak's innings, after Australia's performance on day 3 it's almost sure that this match is going to end in a draw Aussies will easily be able to defeat the lead made by Pakistanis and then even they come to bat they won't be able to win this match from here.

India won the test match by 222 runs and an innings. Sri Lanka really looked lost at the match and had absolutely no idea how to handle the Indian bowlers. This must have been really embarrassing for Sri Lanka. I obviously expected a lot better from them even though I knew that India would be the winners. India was absolutely dominating in the match.

India won by very big margin and this was expected because Sri Lankan team is currently having no good batsman and bowler for facing this Indian team at home, so most chance was this is going to end like this. Jadeja and Ashwin duo was on top with ball and bat with this pant also done good job a massive win for new captain, and now they are going to play second match after few days which is D/N and most chances we are going to have result like this because after watching this first match I am feeling there is no comparison between these two teams.

For Sri Lanka it's very long way to go if they want to do some better in test matches because after retirement of few legendary players they completely fail to bring some competitive replacement and their local leagues are also having not good and strong for bringing skilled players.

The only way pakistan can win this match is by taking early wickets in the first session today and putting pressure on Australians. However, this does not seem to be happening at the moment as Australians have survived the early spell from shaheen Afridi and are 56 for no wicket loss.

I can see this test match moving towards a draw unless we see some magical bowling spell from any of the pakistani bowlers today.

After watching first day play there was all intention that Pakistani authorities done terrible job and create very flat pitch which is going to be not helping anyone and this match is going straight forward just draw, so it's happening in first three days we have only 6 wickets with nearly 740+ runs on board.

I check social media many Pakistani players criticizing for this pitch because this was most wanted series in long time and their this thinking is going to hurt this all very badly specially when you are expecting some good audience then you need to prepare some better things and very supportive pitch but here it's completely opposing with weather is also having his own impact hopefully after this now we will have some better supportive wickets from home team and fans will surely enjoy this good and quality cricket after very long time.

Srilanka batter didn’t handle indian bowler.Few years ago Srilanka test cricket team was very strong but now although new cricketer. I hope Srilanka will recover their test form in next test match.

They have some good criticize from their own many old cricketers for this right now game tempo is completely changed and peoples need some good entertainment but with this pitch it is not happening bowlers struggling very badly and batsmen have very safe heaven which make this match very bore lets watch how they prepare for next matches.

We are in 3rd session of day 4 and Australia are 68 runs behind Pakistan total of 476 runs. Two Australian players are victim of nervous 90 i.e. khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne. Definitely we have a draw for this match as Australians will declare there innings sometimes tomorrow.

Why should Australia declare the innings tomorrow? Since the result is not possible, they can keep on batting the whole last day and get some batting practice to the lower order as well.

For Australia, this might be just another series or country they are touring but for Pakistan, this definitely is a higher pressure series. If they win it not only will they prove their strength as a good test team, other countries too might reconsider the idea of touring Pakistan in the future. A big thing to see will also be the viewership this match gets. An international match after so long for Pakistanis at their home soil. Playing the spin would be the most difficult task for Australia tomorrow obviously. They also will definitely play with 2 full time spinners.

Australia is only touring Pakistan because of there strength as a strong cricketing team. If Pakistan manage to dominate this tour then surely rest of the cricket teams will also tour Pakistan. England and New Zealand are scheduled to tour Pakistan later this year. Pakistan is a safe bet in ODI and T20 but slightly sloppy in Test. Let's see how things went tomorrow.

I doubt that - most of the team do not visit Pakistan, despite of the fact that there are dye heart fans of cricket in Pakistan. Its been years than Pakistan hosted any international series. I don't know what a external factor which don't let sport bloom in Pakistan. But I saw on local TV the love for cricket in PSL. Aussie are surly going to have great cricket and lot of fan support from Pakistan. Finally cricket is back!

Yeah, we can hope but I don't think it's going to happen because only one day of play left and the first innings of Australia have not even ended. Not going to get a result out of this test match without a draw for sure.

After first day of play things were all clear how they are going to do so it's surely not good from home side they need to change things for some interest of fans and spirit of game because with these tactics they are not going to have any positive lesson from this historic tour. We are already having nothing positive in fifth day of play so tomorrow mostly we will watch empty stadium and useless play it's going to be bore start of good series now all eyes on Karachi which is usually a batting track, but now we can home some better things can happen after this disappointed match and start of series from PCB.

With now, they have all players available for second test, surely they can take some good risk with entry of Hassan Ali and Faheem Ashraf as both done good in last few matches for Pakistan.
