One passenger was complaining that the metro is very crowded (since they cancelled more than 50% of the services) and a lot of people were coughing and very few of them had masks on their face. Some of the countries are still being complacent.
It is really unfortunate to see that people are yet not taking things seriously, there are many positive reports coming from the UK and people are still taking things easily is just stupidity to the highest level. Recently there are reports about an actress who traveled from UK to India with a positive case and she shared space with many people who are also at risk and many are admitted and quarantined themselves. If people are not taking things seriously then it will be a huge issue which cannot be contained. There is no cure for stupidity! I somehow believe that scientists should first find a vaccine to cure stupidity and then for coronavirus. It has become pandemic because of these stupid people.

Is there any cricket player who is careless and do not take any precautionary measure on coronavirus ? If you are talking about the general people practices over this virus, then this is not the right thread as this is only for the discussion of Cricket specifically Test Cricket.

Just now I checked the schedule for the 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship, and was surprised to see that no matches were scheduled for April-May 2020. The IPL was supposed to happen during that time, and therefore the cricket boards decided not to play any bilateral matches during this period. But their calculations may get disrupted, in case IPL gets shifted to Q3 or Q4 2020.

Anyhow no matches will be possible during this time due to corona outbreak and if IPL will be rescheduled for September or October of this year then I guess it will definitely impact on other bilateral series which may lead to re-scheduling everything accordingly. I guess those threats due to corona may not settle down for next 2 to 3 months world wide which means ICC needs to re-schedule everything. Not just with respect to cricket, I believe the entire world may go for resetting everything as most production houses are being stopped everywhere. So, it is not making any sense to worry about re-scheduling of cricket matches in this current emergency period of corona outbreak.

^^^^ Well... I think I have already posted about this. IPL during Q3/Q4 2020 is very unlikely. There are two reasons:
1. It won't be good to conduct IPL 2020 during Q3/Q4 2020 and then have the IPL 2021 a few months later during Q1/Q2 2021 2. Many of the bilateral tours, including large number of matches from the 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship are supposed to be played during this time. Both IPL and WTC can't go simultaneously, as the players will be forced to chose one out of these options.

Its going to be interesting to see what the ICC does with the World Test Championship as it the world will most likely be in lock down for the majority of 2020. I think its best if everything is just put off this year and start fresh in 2021.

Just to keep everyone update on this... BCCI makes deal with the ICC and other boards, Its same business as usual as far as i know. In this deal BCCI gets open window for IPL, ICC gets big chunk of money and prominent boards gets money +commission + bilateral series on regular basis and on special cases in very suitable holidays. Ever wonder why Australia never visit any country on boxing day?

Ever wonder why Australia never visit any country on boxing day? @JSRAW this is basic information that every diehard cricket fan should know, but anyway thanks for posting it here so all will now know it in case they weren’t aware of this. Furthermore there was a meeting between ICC and other board members yesterday to discuss on how they will plan the matches ahead if COVID-19 doesn’t go away, but the good news is the upcoming T20 World Cup is yet not effected by this virus. Ever wonder why Australia never visit any country on boxing day? I don't think that BCCI will make any deal with the ICC or with any of the other boards. ICC was forced to block two months every year in the international cricketing calendar, for the IPL. This has been happening ever since 2008. I have never heard about the BCCI reimbursing either the ICC or any of the other boards for this inconvenience. Actually they don't need to. BCCI controls a large part of the ICC revenue and therefore they can do whatever they want. The other boards have limited options.

You are free to discredit as i don't believe in changing anyone's beliefs, that's your personal choice. But having said that they do make deals, that's how things works in diplomacy, lobbying etc. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours, That's it. -Every cricket board gets money from BCCI when they provide NOC to their players, One specific board (ECB) even take commission from each players earning. BCCI lobby with other boards to free their players or for open windows (no intl series around IPL) - Favorable Bilateral series are fact not argument. Every match, every series India plays with other countries are profitable for other boards, Why do you think India plays useless T-20, ODI series with WI, SL, SA,Aus every now and then. Why Australia lobbying with India for Boxing day Test Match (India went there last year and going this year too) and now D/N tests. Everyone is naked in the Hammam.. No one is innocent when it comes to money otherwise India could have been kicked out from the international cricket long back. Small Cricket boards don't have much choice but ICC and BCCI-ECB-CA( Pig 3) are partners in crime.

A few days back it was in my youtube list and watched the match and after watching that new videos popped up including his bowling and batting performances and it is sad that India never had an allrounder after Kapil Dev and he truly ignited the love of cricket in India by winning the World Cup in 1983 and i felt that he did not get that kind of recognition after retirement and after watching those videos i looked at his social media page he shaved his head to resemble Viv Richards and Dhoni it seems .

Here is the video link - https://youtu.be/Vzy_9I1heUEKapil Dev retired in 1994 and TV coverage was not that widespread when he was playing at his peak. During the 1980s, very few people in India were having television sets. That's the reason why he never achieved the level of fandom, that Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli had. But he remains one of the legends in Indian cricket.

Australians are now number 1 in Test and T-20 format replacing India and Pakistan respectively. Interestingly In the Test format points gap are very small in between top 3 teams... its rare (only second time in cricket history) Australia dethrone India to become No. 1 in Tests"With only two points separating them, this is the second closest the top three teams have been since the Test rankings were launched in 2003," the ICC acknowledged in its release. "The closest for the top three teams was in January 2016, when India had led Australia and South Africa by a single point." TestT-20 ODI They need some catching to do in the ODI

LOL.. more than Australia becoming the no.1 team, I am surprised at the rise of New Zealand. Last year, they almost won the ODI world cup. And now, they are just one point behind the top ranked Australia in the ICC test rankings. Remember that this is a country, which can't even start it's own franchise T20 league. They have a population of just around 4 million, and they don't have superstars such as Steve Smith, Virat Kohli, Joe Root and Quinton de Kock. It is amazing that they could achieve this much with a limited player pool, and even more limited budget.

This is nothing new for them as they have very rich history in Cricket they done many good and great things in presence of Sir Richard Hadlee Martin Crow and now this team I am really big fan of them in 1999 series when they give shock to home team England even they was really hot favorite for this all but these fighter guys can do any thing on their day.
