Hahah everyone in India remembers that night when they hear the name of Stuart Broad. How can I forget that crying face of Stuart Broad. He tried everything in that over but couldn't stop raining sixes.  

It can happen to anyone and in my opinion, Broad should not lose his sleep over something that occurred many years ago. This incident occurred when Broad was relatively new to the international scene, during the 2007 ICC World T20. He was in his early 20s and back then Yuvraj was one of the superstars of T20 cricket. Broad has come a long way from there.

There were no T-20 superstars during 2007 World cup because it was first edition of T-20 WC. New format for everyone but yeah Yuvraj had more experience in intl arena.

That was a time when Yuvraj was the all-rounder and one of the best fielders in Indian team. His diving for catches and saving runs takes us back to those moments and how he has hit those sixes in a over just to show how class player he was during his time before the health issues occurred.

Thankfully he is completely fine now, and may be able to regain his old game.

Actually this is true but the platform and the arena and level at which Yuvraj Singh achieved this feat was the largest. Gibbs did it against Netherlands which isn't that fascinating. It was Dimitri Mascarenhas who had hit 5 sixes on bowling of Yuvraj Singh. I still think it was the revenge of this incident that Yuvraj took. Lol.

India is way ahead of the pack at this point. Australia is the only team which stands a chance at overtaking India at this point in my opinion. Bottom teams are basically eliminated at this point except for Sri Lanka who played very few matches.

My top 3 future contenders are India, Australia and New Zealand. I don't think England can beat these three since they almost screwed up the recent series with WI.

I agree with your point here as England is not good enough to beat these three outside home as they have much better players and energy to beat them even at home in near future.

England would have been in a much better position, if they had won the series 3-0. But they were complacent and lost the first match as a result of it. Now it is going to be an uphill task for them, to overtake Australia and get to the no.2 position. The test series against India is going to be very crucial for England. If they manage a couple of victories, then it is going to benefit them tremendously. All that said, I don't feel much excitement with this ICC World Test Championship format. Without a promotion/relegation system, it looks meaningless.

India has played too many series and proved that they deserve to be called the best but still an away series with Australia would still be a real test of their skills I doubt India can win that series while home series with England might not pose much problems for them so despite of everything India might still end up on number one position after everything. But this is a good way of determining best team because each team has played each time both at home and away so gives fair results.

It's a close contest between the two as I mentioned. Just like Smith/Marnus, India has its own power pairs and the pandemic could cause some changes in how they perform as we observed with England recently against West Indies in the 1st test.

But this is a good way of determining best team because each team has played each time both at home and away so gives fair results.

The final was supposed to happen in March 2021, but the pandemic has postponed many matches due to which the final might now take place at the end of 2021 after all teams played their respective matches.

This is a best case scenario, not perfect but its bit easy to digest. In ideal world there should have been equal matches of series for all teams. Right now some teams are playing 2-3 match series and contesting for 120 points, on the other hand some teams are playing 4-5 match series and contesting for same amount of points, so WTC has some flow but again its comes down to money/ revenue making series and schedule. Its first World Test Championship so i am okay with it but i hope they keep reforming this idea or may be some tweaks in the near future.

But If ICC goes deeper into this fixtures deciding role on how many matches will each country play, then national boards might have problem with it especially India/ Australia who have enough viewers and like things to be mandated as per their requirements so yes it's the best available scenario we have.

We all can wait for the matches to start before speculating about team performance. It all ends in the ground, which teams win depends on their performance on that day. I still believe England is a weaker side if compare them with Australia, India and the NZ

India play 5 test match series with only England, With Australia (4 tests) this might change in the future, Ind-Aus rivalry matured enough to get 5 test match series. South Africa (3 tests), New Zealand (2 tests) disappointing.
