The match is over, England just need 21 more runs to win the match, Pakistan made a good effort but they lost the match when they failed miserably in the second innings and then they started well picking quick wickets but one good partnership is more than enough to secure a win and lets see whether Pakistan can learn from the mistakes and come back stronger in the second match.

Now I can blame poor second inning batting and poor captaincy by Azhar for lost of this test match but still Woakes and Buttler both hero for England they fight well win this match for their country and team very good effort from these two now Pakistan can white washed in this series after this lost because they are down and out.

England really played well and the way they came back in the match is impressive and shows that they are the world champions. Pakistan have to improve their batting a lot if they want to come back in the remaining two test matches.

Yasir Shah is the new Messiah for Pakistan and strong contender of Man of the Match.

Yasir Shah is not consistent with his line and length but he is picking wickets.

Yeah he's leaking runs but being a leggie is not an easy task so its fine at some extent, he's picking wicket as well so all good.

This new Buttler-Woakes partnership is hurting them.   Have to tell that being a Pakistani fan is a hell and so much difficult, simple game turning into thriller.

First three days control by Pakistan and on Fourth day England won this test match this change is done by Pakistan because they have ability to do things like this we have very good record in these things and I am happy we still able to do this very poor captaincy and lack of energy from bowlers cost this test match congrats to England and their fans.

I cal this very poor leadership by Azhar after taking 117/5 he need to do some more attack but his tactics was not right on right time so he lost this match and bring down moral of all team I am feeling he not deserve this spot even not his place in team is not right as he is not performing for some time management need to change things and bring some better batsmen.

Yeah Pakistan had a big chance at winning this match after an all round first innings performance with the bat and ball but it was their second innings batting that let them down and all the momentum was with England. It seems that when Pakistan get in winning positions in test matches that they can't go on with it and get the wins.

It was a great show by the England middle order batsmen and they turned the match around. If you see that England middle order batting is very strong and they have always helped England to get out of worse situation.  England is now on the way for another series win.

So if Pakistan were able to broke the fifth wicket partnership early and won the match, then you would have been praising Pakistani team and your expectation would be high on them for the next matches ?

I think there is nothing to be disappointing at this moment. Pakistan dominated the match but lost by that partnership only. I think there is nothing to be disappointing at this moment. Pakistan dominated the match but lost by that partnership only. I understand that we can  improve on many areas but remember we have traveling to England and playing cricket after a long time whereas England has been playing with West Indies and Ireland. I am hopeful that Pakistan will become used to the conditions and will show a better performance in the next test matches.

Pakistan dominated majority of the match but the lackluster second innings was the reason they lost the match but the bowlers tried their best and they were successful in picking the wickets but Buttler and Woakes started attacking because it was a small total to chase and they knew if they play a defensive innings they would loose their wicket. Pakistan has the bowlers to defeat England all they need to do is put a good total on the board so that the bowlers can do the rest.

Cricket is such an unpredictable game and you may not always win close encounters. But that said, Pakistan have a lot of positives to take away from the match. There was excellent batting from Shan Masood and Babar Azam. The bowlers were bowling their hearts out, especially Yasir Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Abbas. They lost the match, but no one can deny the fact that they went down fighting.

This is just ridiculous. England needs to stop disrespecting their legendary players. James Anderson bowled much better than Jofra Archer and I don't understand why the former is dropped while the latter is still in the team. I am OK with the other two changes. Stokes may be dealing with personal issues, while Bess wasn't that threatening during the first test.
