Yes today after watching match now I am feeling English bowlers was not good enough its just Pakistani batsmen doing same mistakes and giving easy wickets to them for some terrible end of this test match for them if they able to have 30 to 35 more runs then surely its going to be good contest otherwise its going to be very good for England.

Pakistan already lost 8 wickets and they have a lead of 244 runs and that means they need to score another 31 runs with 2 wickets remaining which is a hard task if the fast bowlers are operating in the morning and i will be surprised if they are able to take a lead of 260 runs and with two days left England could win the match but i expect a tightly contested match.

The thing that surprised me is that Ben Stokes was injured and he was in the team solely as a batsman and since he got out for a duck he took the ball in the second innings and took a couple of wickets.

Unless there is major rain interruption, there is zero chance for a draw. The match can go either way, but enough time remains to rule out a draw. The target for England can be anywhere between 250 and 300, and 6 sessions of play remain (approx. 180 overs). Stokes is in form, and therefore I would still say that England is having a slightly higher chance here.

England have made a superb comeback in this test match and this has made the test match more interesting as match can now swing in any direction. Pakistan is leading by 244 runs and they would try that remaining 2 wickets if can add another 30 runs will reach near 275. @onrise yea anything can happen in this game, because if you see the last few series of England’s Test matches, then you’ll observe that they have lost the opening match in all those series. However I’m yet not feeling confident to wager on Pakistan, because if England player’s don’t loose wickets early in their innings, then they will definitely win this game as they have a strong batting lineup.

In eight of their last ten Test series, England have lost the first Test match, including the losses against Pakistan at Lord's in 2016 and 2018. Against West Indies, in the recently concluded series too, England lost the first Test at Southampton.

Only rain can save England now, they are struggling against the pace battery and spin.

Pakistan is in very dominating situation and only Pakistan can beat itself in this test by doing their thingy "Unpredictability"  I would be very disappoint if they throw away game from here.

161/7 First session was totally belong to England and now second one is going in Pakistan favour as Yasi Shah doing good job 3rd wicket now they can control this all again with tail enders I am also feeling Pakistan doing good so now time for first win without any choke because this can hurt all players and peoples at home badly.

The interesting part is that Pakistan was dominating around 10 sessions in a Test match and they lost around 2 sessions and are now under pressure as there is plenty of time left in the match but they lost the advantage they had throughout the match by loosing 2 sessions and not even a single good partnership in the second innings, unless there is some extraordinary performance by the Pakistani bowlers England could win the match from this situation.

This is nothing new because we have history of matches like this for Pakistan I will try to post here few links of matches which Pakistan lost as they was dominating and all lost in just one session one against New Zealand and one against Sri Lanka this is nature of Pakistan cricket we have some very talented players but sadly never develop them as good finishers which is nightmare for us.

England definitely fancying their chance now, pretty disappointing with the Pakistani batsmen in the second inning. Yasir Shah added some valuable runs in the end , which is useful and thanks to 100+ lead, 277 runs target is not bad on 4th inning if you are defending but Pakistan's problem is England has almost 180 overs to achieve this target. However this Pakistan bowling lineup is good and has potential to bowl out England team but let's hope they step up for their team one more time and more importantly fielders supporting them by not dropping any chances.

England are looking favorite now. The captain Root and Sibley are playing very sensibly and England are slowing cursing towards the target without losing any more wickets. Although England did not played well in the first innings but they have dominated in the 2nd innings bowling and batting.

The match is really interesting as England lost their 4th wicket and England still need 170 runs to win the match and Ollie Pope and Jos Buttler are in the crease and one more wicket will put immense pressure on England, the only advantage England have is they have enough time to play a slow innings but the top order did that and failed, it is an interesting session for both the teams.

England are 167/5 and require another 110 runs. This is going to be interesting and this game is now depended on Butller or Woakes. IF one of batsman stays till last then England has good chance to win as Broad can also contribute 20-30 runs easily.

Both teams playing very good cricket even Yasir is not good as he need to be because he is not bowling on his line which is causing problems for him and English batsmen attacking on him but still 100 runs to go and last pair is on after tea we are going to have very exciting last session of this test match who win its still not clear

Yeah he's leaking runs but being a leggie is not an easy task so its fine at some extent, he's picking wicket as well so all good.

This new Buttler-Woakes partnership is hurting them.   Have to tell that being a Pakistani fan is a hell and so much difficult, simple game turning into thriller.

By the end of 1st innings, Pakistan is lead by 107 runs. If England manages to get Pakistanis out around 200, they'll have a target of 300-350 runs which is a chaseable score considering the English batting lineup. So, I believe that there is still a bit of chance for England to get back in to the game.

Only 77 runs needed for England to win the match and Butler-Woakes partnership looks strong. I knew that there is a chance for England to win   This is a thriller! I think, England will win this match too bad that I didn't bet on it yesterday
