I guess during that live event there are gamblers who thinks  that converged can still catch up and snatched the game, but it didn't happen as blackwater secure their first win in this season.

I guess they didn't understand that Converge already go their key players (Ahanmisi and Teng), so this team now is not the same anymore, they lose to Blackwater who is one of the worse team in the PBA, that's a bad sign that they don't have a good future waiting for them, eventually this team will be sold again as the owner/s are not willing to invest on quality players.

Just a note that Converge hired Willie Miller as one of their assistant coach so they are serious in their campaign in the PBA.

I believe the days are long gone when teams not owned by SMB and TNT could compete at a high level. The thing is, these big teams like SMB and TNT can afford to pay top players attractive salaries, which often leaves the smaller teams with more mediocre players. As a result, their chances of winning don't stack up as well against teams composed of superstars.

Take SMB, for example. We can see that they've gathered players who were previously leading their former teams, including names like Romeo, Jeron Teng, Jericho Cruz, Perez, CJ, and Vic Manuel.

Northport might be the favorite, but when it comes to NLEX against Phoenix, I'm not so sure. Phoenix is a solid team, although they might not be as strong as SMB and Ginebra. I was actually planning to place some bets on the PBA and NBA, but there's a hitch—I don't feel like withdrawing my Bitcoin right now because of the high transaction fees.

Northport might be the favorite, but when it comes to NLEX against Phoenix, I'm not so sure. Phoenix is a solid team, although they might not be as strong as SMB and Ginebra. That's the problem if converge will decide to sell the team and another farm team will be able to bought it, then we will expect that either SMC or MVP will take charge,  there's no balance anymore maybe the reason why converge doesn't like to waste their money, or maybe they already part of the farm team which only hiding behind a good company name.

That's the problem if converge will decide to sell the team and another farm team will be able to bought it, then we will expect that either SMC or MVP will take charge,  there's no balance anymore maybe the reason why converge doesn't like to waste their money, or maybe they already part of the farm team which only hiding behind a good company name.

That's my suspicion because it seems like this team isn't so aggressive in improving their lineup. Before they bought it, it was an Alaska team that went to the finals and won championships in the past. In fact, I remember Tim Cone when he was the head coach of Alaska, and they were doing great back then. Calvin, Casio, and Manuel—these are the players I remember who were playing well for the team. But if I recall correctly, Tim Cone wasn't their coach anymore.

I didn't catch the game, but it seems like Ricci Rivero is proving to be a valuable addition to the team. I read an article below praising how the young players of Phoenix contributed to a comeback from a double-digit deficit and secured a double-digit victory in the end.

I didn't watch the game too just chech the score board but if that's what happened then it's a good start  for his career,  if he continue playing like this, chances being noticed by both SMC and MVP groups will be their knowing how good the radar of these two giant's groups,  might be cooking show behind and an intense offer that can't resist. 

Too early though,  a single game won't conclude your overall performance, but can gain attention and create good positive impressions.

I don't know why some people can't believe that Junemar still have won the MVP for the seventh time. Come on guys, the guy deserve it and we can see that there's a statistics basis for that so it's not hokus pokus that he has won it. Maybe not from the folks here in forum guys but in social medias, I have seen a lot of them can't believe on it. As for the TNT game, I agree that Mikey is really needed by them and I think that's the reason why he's also hard on the team and trying to make feel important of himself.

Sorry kabayan if I will answer you since I'm also once of those who can't believe that Abay can win that title since his performances is not in the same level from how I look at him before,  I mean yes he deserves to win and no question about that, statistics and voting might give him an edge against scottie and CStand and thays what happen he win  and he takes the award  and add the trophy to keep establishing his goat status don't get me wrong 😉 establishing means putting the big gap behind to anyone who play from this league 😉

I think the main basis was the scoring. I've seen the stats and likely the score card that was posted b some random page on facebook. It's really needed to get some revamp for such stats because there are also other good players that may deserve to win the MVP. Typically, with all of these awards comes from those winning teams and they also need to recognize those players that are from a not so good team but having a decent stats that's recognizable. Maybe soon or within the next conferences, they'll consider that but that's it, congrats to Abay.

SMC and MVP could make a tempting offer just to lure a player to join their team, but in the case of Ricci, he is still young, probably they are just making him matured and before a true scorer first, that's the time they'll try to sign him since their players will be getting older as well. I hope that does not happen though, if Ricci would love to make more money, better for him if he'll try to explore opportunities overseas, for sure he'll ern more than what SMB or MVP group could offer to him.

I've read an article today that TNT has terminated the contract of Mikey Williams, so this means that he will no longer play for TNT or in the PBA, to say the least.

And this game went to OT but TNT still manage to win the game, however, I think Converge the handicap here as it was only a 3 point win by TNT.

Oftana score 19 but Castro got 23 points here, big night for the old but goodies the blur.

I've read an article today that TNT has terminated the contract of Mikey Williams, so this means that he will no longer play for TNT or in the PBA, to say the least.

Good for him, he would not come back in the PBA anymore as he is so demanding, he shoud show his talent somewhere, probably not in the Phiilppines.
