Does anyone remember Deportivo, the iconic club that 20 years ago was a Spanish champion and in 2004 was in the semi-finals of the European Champions League?
I just read the news that they have dropped out of the second Spanish league and will play in the third Spanish league next season.
Numancia, Extremadura and Racing Santander, formerly three Premier League clubs, have also been dropped from the second division.
I'm truly sorry for Deportivo, I loved this club but unfortunately from the past you can't live.

It's really sad to see them relegating. I haven't followed Segunda that much, so I'm not really sure what happened to them. Financial problems? Bad squad? Management? Just few seasons ago they played in La Liga. I remember their stadium Riazor was difficult for away teams, especially Real, they failed to win there many years in a row.

We also have the club Zaragoza returning to the title competition next season, I love this club because sometimes it offers beautiful football, especially against Barcelona!!

Nope, they aren't returning yet. They will have playoffs for last spot in La Liga with Girona, Almeria and Elche or Fuenlabrada.
Indeed, Zaragoza is interesting team, they have some solid players. It was a bit strange to see former Borussia and MU star playing for them this season. But personally, I would prefer Girona in La Liga. Christian Stuani is simply too good to play in Segunda

I also don't follow Segunda much but saw this article by chance.
From what I understand,  they had all the problems you mentioned,  financial,  bad squad and bad management.
I hope they will return soon.

I just read somewhere that Unai Emery is going to coach  Villarreal next season. This might be good for Villarreal  since Emery is no stranger to Spanish football.

Bale is a chronic pain and headaches for Real Madrid. People tend to sympathise him based on what he did for the team in the past which is undeniable but he got paid very well for that.
The situation nowadays aren't the same as few years ago. Bale failed in the field, doesn't care so much about football instead prefer to play golf, mocking his team and doing silly stuff in front of the whole world...and of course being paid big to sleep and you know what, he seems to enjoy that...enjoy destroying his career! I am not aware of any players preferring to stay out of the field for another two seasons without playing a single damn game and milk Real Madrid funds which suppose attract a couple of new players or let them contract with 1-2 good players...
I know that people love getting so much money without doing anything but cmon this isn't an oil field to suck it until the last drop, stand up and find a team that accepts you or else you will be in the hall of shame...

I think it's good choice for Villarreal. Yes, he failed in Arsenal, but I don't think it means that he is bad manager. It's only a bit strange that Villarreal decided to change manager after good season.
BTW, Real Betis already confirmed that they signed contract with Manuel Pellegrini - former manager of Real and Man City. They have good squad and I think that with good manager and few new signings they can be serious contenders for spot in Europa League.

Well, if you remember the shit that Zidane got at Real you will wonder if there really is anyone who can be considered as good a coach anymore these days. As much as Zidane did they still managed to say he was a shit coach with no credentials who couldn't prove himself. I loved him as a player and he must be great as a manager. This from a Barca fan.

Sweet results for Real Madrid who have won La Liga. Big achievement for Zidan with his new record. But unfortunately not for Bale, I think Bale is a little disappointed because he is not a regular player at the moment. But at least professional players must be able to accept the coach's decision. I don’t know if you’ll remember or no but Zidane had quit RM because Perez (RM president) refused to sell Bale, and when Zidane came back Bale decided to leave and he had in fact accepted that Chinese offer, but in the end RM decided to cancel the Chinese deal. Furthermore Zidane doesn’t care for Bale and Bale has also lost respect for Zidane hence it’s best if Bale leaves RM, but Bale huge wages are proving a problem for any club who wishes to purchase him.

Good for him.  He def deserved to be treated better at Arsenal imho.  Now they got Pep's assistant, the guy who places the cones during training to lead them.  

Unai Emery is one big asset in the spanis football. His experience in leading a team might get to the top or championship. I do believe in the way how he managed the team. Just like any other coaches his compassions towards the players is very high. This will make a good balance in field for players to have advantage. Definitely there will be an alignment and strategy of the players as the next season will going to begin. Villareal is one of the good teams so it would not be hard for him to lead.

In short, Bale is stuck in a club that doesn’t want him, and other clubs can’t get him 
Too bad, Bale could still have played a big role in another club and in this way his talent was unfortunately wasted.

I am sure if Madrid management still retains Zidane as a head coach, they even probably get better achievements in the next seasons. Yes, it is another great achievement by Zidane. He is a typical coach who always has a smart idea to win a trophy. It is hard to find a genius coach like him nowadays.

Bale is lucky enough can be a part of a winning team this season. I cannot imagine if he is a Barcelona player with that condition. Rarely play, plus must accept to lose trophy this season.

He is doing bad to himself not to Real in the end.
After his contract will end he will have hard times find a team or sign a good contract with a lot of money. This attitude is going to make all teams be very careful with what they are going to sign with him.

It will be interesting to look forward to, like when pep was coach of Barcelona and Mourinho was head at Madrid, the El classico then was fierce and unmissable to say the least. As much as it'll be good for Laliga in general if pep returns, i don't know how soon that will happen, he still has one year on his contract and city are putting a big money deal on the table for him to extend his stay at Etihad, and i think he will.

Probably if City's UCL ban was upheld, then pep will have a palpable reason to leave England, but good things seem to be coming city's way next season and on, with big stars being chased, imo, pep wants to be part of all that for some years more.

But in fact not all former players who have the ability like Zidane really have the ability to set a strategy and sharp observations to give young players a chance to play and besides, I also agree if Guardiola can return to Barca because I feel the Barca game will to be very good if there is Guardiola, because since the departure of Guardiola I feel the Barca game is no longer interesting.

So much true, Barca game-play is too much bad now.  if they will not try to improve their gameplay, next season will be terrible for them.  Real Madrid’s gameplay and strategy is now very hard with the help of great Zidane. If Barca do not take necessary steps to improve themselves now, they will miss the next cup too.
