I do not get it, dude was almost getting fired after amazing success in previous years and at the mid way of this season (before pandemic stuff) he was almost losing his job, that is how much untolerant these team owners/presidents are these days.

We all remember that Zidane was almost getting fired this year right? It is not me that just read those news? And what do we have now?

Another championship for Real Madrid. I wouldn't call him one of the best managers in the world right now, he has been doing this for like 4 years at best and that is why I think he still has few teams and a decade before we can call him a great manager, or maybe I just have a high bar. However when you are manager of Real Madrid, that is kind of the point right? You should be winning La Liga, it is either you or Barcelona almost every single year, so it shouldn't be a shock that he won it.

Football doesn't make sense. I remember very well Claudio Ranieri losing his job right after he won Leicester City their first title in their entire history. 5000 to 1 odds, if anyone forgets.

Sure, they struggled after that but how do you keep a team together to challenge after losing all your stars to poaching clubs?

Football club owners are cruel and illogical and not football people. In general.

I think Patrick Kluivert does have some sort of right to be at the head, dude has been doing sports management related stuff for almost a decade now, of course not as a coach almost on all of them but he managed twente youth team for a while he was assistant coach for Netherlands, and same for Cameroon for a while as well and now has been at the head of youth department for the past year in Barcelona, that is a good CV if you ask me unless Barcelona plans to get someone who is already an established coach.

I still think they shouldn't let Pep go, these are teams that pays tens of millions of dollars for players and with that logic they could have offered Pep twice the money he is earning and he could have stayed, it is sad for them because he is definitely the perfect coach for them.

I think that Barcelona players need coach with authority and experience,  someone who is also star and famous.
It's obvious that Setien never had authority and respect from his players and it's one of main reason he wasn't successful.

Yeah that season was so special especially with the coronavirus pause!
Real Madrid improved but it still needs to fix some issues, they lack for example a player like Messi/CR7, and better to get ride on a way or another from useless players in the team like lazy Bale and replace them with other key players...And true they cannot get too far without struggling if they keep the same strategy!
For Barcelona, things are harder, the actual team needs to change...a lot! From players to the staff. Nothing is working there. The new manager will have hard times fixing all the issues there

Another Pinichi for Lionel Messi, another goal for the prolific defender Sergio Ramos. They both will have positions in La Liga's Hall of Fame for best attackers and defenders.

Barca with all moments they have during the season, from the manager position to their fastly changes before and after pandemic, they need to find a great coach for next season. Without a great coach, they will be lost again in La Liga.

Real Madrid, Zizou is a great coach but the problem with the club is their squad's ageing process. Karim has a good season but his lead position should be replaced by a younger striker soon.

Yeah throughout this season a lot of history has happened and also the story is so sad because the league has to be postponed a few months due to Covid-19, still it's all able to finish it right, Real Madrid was able to bring this title and party, but not like the season before it was flooded in by his fans but the victory was very touched because again and again Real Madrid won the championship due to this extraordinary coach namely Zinedine Zidane

It's sad that I wasn't able to join the Prediction pool last time. I do hope I am able to join the one for the next season and I see how far I can get. i wish there was a working fantasy football app like for EPL. I like fantasy Football so much, It would be awesome to create a competition out of it.

Zidane is enjoying a new triumph with Real but the problem with one player is still "bone in his throat" 
Judging by this article in Marca, Bale doesn't want to leave Real, he's enjoying his life there, although he doesn't play.
While Real pay him a very expensive pension, he can enjoy golf

Emm, 🤔 so much true, Real Madrid won the championship only for the extraordinary coach Zinedine Zidane. You know that Real Madrid's situation at the start of the league was not good. Their performance was so so bad. but after the break of coronavirus, they were able to return to their real form, and as a result they won the championship.

Does anyone remember Deportivo, the iconic club that 20 years ago was a Spanish champion and in 2004 was in the semi-finals of the European Champions League?
I just read the news that they have dropped out of the second Spanish league and will play in the third Spanish league next season.
Numancia, Extremadura and Racing Santander, formerly three Premier League clubs, have also been dropped from the second division.
I'm truly sorry for Deportivo, I loved this club but unfortunately from the past you can't live.

Well, Granada got to this point thx to that amazing start of the season, you remember that? IIRC they were in the top 4/6 for a while and ppl were saying that they were going to surprise everyone this season

I must say that I am really happy that Granada managed to qualify for Europa league for the next season. I don't even watch Granada matches or know much about them to be honest, but I know that Getafe is playing the ugliest football I've seen and just wanted them to fail.

I think its natural that Granada make their fans proud of their achievement this season because they are the team that was promoted to Laliga after they were relegated in the 2016-2017 season. This season they proved that they have become a strong team that is able to compete closely with other big teams in Laliga with 56 points.

I dont watch their matche too often if its not a match vs Barcelona. Another good thing is they managed to make Barcelona lose 2-0 in the first matche on 21-09-2019. It was a very bad match for me, because I had to wake up from sleep just to watch Barcelona lose. LOL

Who is he ? Could it be that Jose Mourinho is with an English club? He has handled Madrid 2010-2013. But I don't think he will do it. Financial problems in the world economy and of course Madrid have hampered the circulation of money to add great players in Madrid. But I heard about next season, reportedly Madrid will bring Eduardo Camavinga, Paul Pogba, Kai Havertz and Kylian Mbappe, can this happen?

 When small teams get to finish very well, its never really sustainable for the long term, thats the sad part about la liga nad probably all around the world. You see this small team who nobody gave any chance, barely seen as an "avoid relegation" level of team, or maybe mid table at best, they finish and go to europa or something, but you look at them 5 years later and there is nothing about them doing well, they are once again same mid table to avoid relegation team once again. Leicester is the only one I can remember who didn't become like that, but usually teams like Granada who achieves more than they were expected never really continue to sustain that level of success and could even drop out of the league in 5 years, I hope that won't be the case for them.

I actually have never heard of Granada before this season, I personally never check divisions under that much, only time to time and it doesn't even ring a bell.

By the start of this season I did hear about their name and I thought it was just another Spanish team that came int o the league and will probably stay for a while, go down again and eventually come up again one day, you know those teams, they are quite common they go up and down divisions all the time, I do not feel like checking them when I see their games but I like it when Barça beats them by five when they face. So in the end that is what I thought about granada before the season started, and after the season started I saw them doing great, and they just... continued doing great? I mean they kept it up basically all season.

It is unfortunate to hear the fall of Deportivo to the third degree, Deportivo has performed well in past seasons, But this season he made bad offers that made him drop to the third degree!! Certainly, the club will improve its position in order to return to the first class in the coming seasons, no doubt about that.
We also have the club Zaragoza returning to the title competition next season, I love this club because sometimes it offers beautiful football, especially against Barcelona!!

It's really sad to see them relegating. I haven't followed Segunda that much, so I'm not really sure what happened to them. Financial problems? Bad squad? Management? Just few seasons ago they played in La Liga. I remember their stadium Riazor was difficult for away teams, especially Real, they failed to win there many years in a row.

Nope, they aren't returning yet. They will have playoffs for last spot in La Liga with Girona, Almeria and Elche or Fuenlabrada.
Indeed, Zaragoza is interesting team, they have some solid players. It was a bit strange to see former Borussia and MU star playing for them this season. But personally, I would prefer Girona in La Liga. Christian Stuani is simply too good to play in Segunda

I think for the next season both of them have to improve relations...
Bale is still one of Madrid's best strikers, to be honest, as a Madrid fan, I was very disappointed when Bale was not played in the match against Leganes ago.
