These are the games taking place today Saturday 4th May:
Arsenal vs Bournemouth Brentford vs Fulham Burnley vs Newcastle United Sheffield United vs Nottingham Forest Manchester City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
On paper it seems like Arsenal and Manchester City will have easy games but they still have to win and both are desperate for the points as they chase the Premier League title. Burnley host Newcastle United in a game they need to win or their chances of surviving to stay in the Premier League for next season will be severely hit.
These were the most recent results in the Premier League:
Friday 3rd May Luton Town 1-1 Everton
Thursday 2nd May Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Congratulations to Leicester City, it was an excellent season for them to bounce back in to the Premier League at the first attempt and not only that they did it in style by becoming champions.
Ipswich Town are in prime position for finishing as runners-up and can secure promotion to the Premier League if they manage just a draw (and a point) in their final game otherwise Leeds United could pip them if results go against them.
Even the teams in the play-off positions are worthy of being in the Premier League: Leeds United, Southampton, Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion (along with Hull City in 7th place) therefore this will be an intriguing final day of the season.
Yeah Leicester did it in only 1 season. There is a really huge squad value difference between them and nearly all the remaining teams though. But if it wasn't for that high effort they couldn't have done it this easy. I really admire Ipswich also. Even a draw is going to be enough to secure the direct Premier League promotion. Squad value isn't always everything obviously. Theirs is only €50 million but they have had an incredible season. Let's see which one in the play offs area will make it too. I'm wondering about Hull City's chance a lot. Since the chairman changed they have been on the rise. We are only 105 minutes away from the final matches.

If Ipswich Town manage to get to the Premier League, it will mean back to back promotions for them and they were managed by Kieran McKenna (he was a first team coach at Manchester United before he took on the Ipswich Town job) and the feel around the club is their approach a brilliant one that allows younger players to flourish and senior players to support them. I hope Ipswich Town manage to do it as based on their playing style they deserve it. Yeah Leicester did it in only 1 season. There is a really huge squad value difference between them and nearly all the remaining teams though. But if it wasn't for that high effort they couldn't have done it this easy. Do they still show it like Liverpool are in the title race? They literally need a miracle as of now to take back the lead so it is a very low probability I'm afraid. Klopp somehow couldn't motivate his players for the championship on the recent weeks and they are paying for it now. It is an unpleasant way to say goodbye for him. But I'm not saying it like he is bad. He has had really good times with Liverpool over the years. A CL title, a PL title and many more cups added to his achievements. Arne Slot will surely have a big task to perform after Klopp. When the sports journos start using terms like 'mathematically possible' then you fore sure know that it will take a miracle to get them out of the rut. It's done. Liverpool tried and they didn't get it. I think their last saving grace is to make it a trashing vs the Wolves and get their last win for Klopp at home. Not sure what the lines are gonna be tho. Pretty sure it's gonna be sharp. Even this match vs Tottenham, the books got them at 1.48? That's a little to much juice. Arne who? :/ And yup... Klopp left a huge void that not even Xavi Alonso, who's had a lot of success lately, is willing to fill.

Arne who? :/
Arne slot is the Peyenoord coach , a potential coach who will replace Jurgen Klopp this season, but Liverpool and Peyenoord are still negotiating and there is no agreement yet. To replace Jurgen Klopp, there are many candidates who are rumored to be coaching Liverpool, such as Xabi Alonso (Bayer Leverkusen) Roberto de Zerbi (Brighton & hove albion), and ruben amorim (sporting). However, what is being intensively reported in the media as to who will replace the coaching chair is Arne Slot, on the other hand, I see that Arne Slot does not deny that Liverpool proposes to him to become a tactician to replace Jurgen Klopp. However, until now there is no certainty and Liverpool have not announced which coach will replace Jurgen Klopp next season.

The early kick-off game ended with a fantastic win for Arsenal but Manchester City will play in the late kick-off:
Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth
Saka scored a penalty to give Arsenal the lead followed a goal from Trossard but Rice scored the third goal very late in to time added-on and in the process ensured Arsenal are sitting comfortably at the top of the Premier League table. They have played two games more and are four points ahead of second placed Manchester City but that lead could be cut to just one point this evening when Manchester City host Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Luton getting a draw wasn't a "terrible" result for them, they are tied now, and I am sure Notts will lose, and that means that the points would be equals, Luton will need just one more point than Notthingham Forrest to finish within the premier league and not relegated. I really want to see them stay, I believe that they are bringing something different to the table. They do not look like an industrial type of modern football club, but more like old fashion club that we love to see 20-30 years ago, which is why seeing them at Premier league makes me happy.
I feel the same way about Leicester City as well but they are getting more and more modern, they will be at premier league back again, which is nice to see, but I think they are not good enough to stay, so they need to spend the summer very well.

These are the results of the games played today:
Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth Brentford 0-0 Fulham Burnley 1-4 Newcastle United Sheffield United 1-3 Nottingham Forest Manchester City 5-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
After Arsenal won their early kick-off game 3-0, all the pressure was on Manchester City to win their game to keep up and they did not disappoint with a 5-1 win over Wolves.
At the bottom of the table, Nottingham Forest came from a goal down away at Sheffield United to win 1-3 and they now are three points clear of the relegation zone and took a massive step towards safety.

You also don't know much about him as it seems just like many other people. But we will find out what he is made of if Liverpool completes the deal officially soon. Xabi Alonso is actually willing to manage Liverpool, but not now. I remember a comment of him a short time ago. I don't know why they don't just go for managers like Conte.
Congrats to Ipswich Town! They are the 2nd team promoting to the PL.

It would be a tall task and possibly could even kill his career if he doesn't emulate the same kind of success as Klopp. Just like the next manager who's taking over after Guardiola at Man City... These are traps imho.

What a sensational first half it has been for Chelsea. This is the Chelsea we're looking for. Massive dominance throughout the play, incredible goals from Cole Palmer, Gallagher and madueke. You dispute the fact that pochettino has the right toles that will certainly make top three in the next premier League games. Cole Palmer has been the coach on the pitch, dude is calm, calculative and shows an high level of brilliance in his decision making. This is one of the games where he certainly deserves an hatrick to seal all his effort for the blues.
West ham on the other hand have been sitting back too much. You would have expected that they know that they are obviously at a serious disadavantage since they are already at Chelsea home but the relaxation of just too much. To some extent they also have hard luck being unable to score two clear goals that ended up hitting the bar. David Moyes will have to talk them seriously into the second half if not we would be expecting more goals from Chelsea.

Arsenal is trying their very best, 4 wins after that loss, but that loss alone made it possible for City to get the title possibly. They have been winning even more, and they got the easy win this week as well, and they have one game missing, so City could win that extra game that they are missing and be 2 points ahead of Arsenal.
They need to get a tie, to make it even and in that situation things will change, but I do not really see City getting a tie or a loss in any of the games left for them, it looks like they are going to get this type of easy wins in all of them. Arsenal will be quite sad about this, just one loss and because of that they are second, but it looks like they are still doing pretty well, they build a great team and will win it eventually for sure.

These are traps imho. Yeah, I definitely think the same about that. Arne Slot is going to have a huge responsibility. He is going to manage one of the biggest teams of the PL. The board would set their target as to win the league championship. For a person who has few achievements with Feyenoord only, I don't know if he can deal with this task well. The board might need to be really patient with him to start playing big here. It isn't easy for anyone to start like Xabi Alonso in the end. Klopp also had quite much difficulty in bringing Liverpool to a higher level.

^ The beauty of that tho is it's actually expected that Arne Slot will royally fail when taking over after Klopp. And there'll prolly be a couple of seasons of this... And who would they be setting up as the second coming to save Liverpool? Oh look in a couple of years most likely Xavi Alonso will say he's ready to go back to Liverpool and be the next manager. Lol.
It will exactly be that set up. Watch.

Here are the most recent results: Monday 6th May Crystal Palace 4-0 Manchester United Sunday 5th May Brighton and Hove Albion 1-0 Aston Villa Chelsea 5-0 West Ham United Liverpool 4-2 Tottenham Hotspur Congrats to Ipswich Town! They are the 2nd team promoting to the PL. Is is never an easy task for any team to have back to back promotions from League One to the Championship and then from the Championship to the Premier League. Regardless of which team you support you have to look at the actual achievement and give full credit and respect to them. Both the management team and the players deserve the accolades. By being Head Coach, without a doubt Kieran McKenna is the man that has masterminded the success behind Ipswich Town. Along with the players, his hard work should definitely be recognised.

Here are the most recent results:
Monday 6th May Crystal Palace 4-0 Manchester United
Huge embarrassment from Man United getting trashed by Crystal Palace of all clubs. Anyway the books seem to think they're going to lose vs Arsenal at home in Old Trafford, giving them a generous line of 7.20, draw no bet at 5 and double chance at 3.10. I think these are very good lines as the match is in Old Trafford. They won't roll over that easy in front of their own fans. Edit: Ooo damn... And just like that the line fell to 6.60, 4.70 and 3.

The 4-0 result was a very big shock. If Ten Hag seriously assessed the issue himself he would know he has failed and the best thing he can do for himself and club is to probably resign at the end of the season. How many people believe Ten Hag will be their manager when the new kicks-off in August? This is how the Premier League table currently stands: Here are the fixtures taking place this weekend Saturday 11th May: Fulham vs Manchester City Bournemouth vs Brentford Everton vs Sheffield United Newcastle United vs Brighton and Hove Albion Tottenham Hotspur vs Burnley West Ham United vs Luton Town Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Crystal Palace Nottingham Forest vs ChelseaIf Manchester City win their game in hand they will be two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table with both having just two games left to play. Luton Town need a win away at West Ham United otherwise they will have one game remaining to save themselves from relegation but they need Nottingham Forest to drop points when they host Chelsea.

It was a such a big disappointment for Manchester United fans. Seeing your team being that desperate must be frustrating. Plus, Manchester United have been struggling like this for years... When it comes to the odds for the Manchester United - Arsenal match, I see some interesting differences on some websites. Arsenal have the same odds however Manchester United's varies from 7.20 to 6.40. Maybe it isn't a big deal, I don't know. At the end of the day, I just expect Arsenal to win this one way or another. They have to if they want to keep their chance for the PL championship.

If Manchester United want to be serious contenders for the Premier League and Champions League season after season, they must replace the manager and they must sell the players that are simply not up to the job. There is a dilemma Manchester United will face in their game against Arsenal. If they win, they will help rivals Manchester City win the Premier League title and if they lose the game it will help Arsenal push Manchester City until the next game of the season (which will be the last game of the season). Having said that, the way Arsenal have been playing compared with the way Manchester United have been playing, it seems as though Arsenal will win the game. It was a such a big disappointment for Manchester United fans. Seeing your team being that desperate must be frustrating. Plus, Manchester United have been struggling like this for years... RESULT:
Fulham 0-4 Manchester City
In the early kick-off game, Manchester City scored a massive 0-4 win over Fulham and have moved back to the top of the table. Both Arsenal and Manchester City have played 36 games (and both have just two games remaining) but Manchester City have 85 points whereas Arsenal have 83 points.
Arsenal travel to Manchester United tomorrow in a game they must win to keep pressure on Manchester City otherwise their title hopes will be hanging by a thread and could be over on Tuesday when Manchester City travel to Tottenham.
