Burkina Faso vs Algeria

So, the game is currently, the game started and we are currently like 10 minutes into it right now, who do you think will come out victorious in this match?

Based on what they have play so far in this 20 minutes in the first half, I think Algeria will be the winner of this game and moreover, the way their players are positioning themselves show that opportunity will surely come for them to secure goals that will give them victory at the end of the game.

Who are rooting for in this match? Are you currently watching? Who do you think will win in.?

When I saw their line up this afternoon, I knew that Algeria will be the favorite team in this game and they are truly displaying their preparation for the attempt they have made so far in this first half and those that predicted for Algeria to win will surely make a huge amount of money from their prediction because Burkina Faso will lose against Algeria.

That yesterday match of Cape Verde vs Mozambique was also interesting and I was not thinking of Cape Verde to beat Mozambique 3-0. Cape Verde was having the strong confidence to win the game and Mozambique defense was not strong enough to defend their area. Though the keeper tried his best to keep but the defense was too open for him to keep. And as I said earlier, I have not chosen any team yet until the knockout stage.

I did not watch them play but sincerely speaking I am not just assuming, Africans are now getting much better with their style of playing from the ball being on the ground unlike before when the ball always on the air and going down to their passes which they should work more on, i love their goal scoring very perfect and beautiful.

Cape Verde yesterday defeated Mozambique by three goals to nil to become the first country that's participating in this year's CAF African Cup Of Nations to book their place in the knockout stages of the tournament. In a group that contains football nations like Ghana and Egypt, Cape Verde have surprisingly leading the group B and doesn't even need a result from their last game of the group stage to play in the knockout stages.

Before the tournament kicked off, Cape Verde were no were near the top five favourite teams that was backed by bookmakers to win the tournament but with their impressive results and performances in their first two matches of the tournament, they're now considered as a big threat. Hopefully for them, they'll reach at least the semi final of the competition.

Burkina Faso 2-2 Algeria

It was a very close match surprisingly Algeria had much difficulties to draw the score in last minutes of the match, gaining the hope of passing to the next stage Round of 16 only if they could win their last match against Mauritania who lost their first match against Burkina Faso.
The first half was dominated by Algeria but with one chance Burkina Faso could score with a tricky goal, where Algeria has a real issue in defense and defending cross distributions. It was an obvious coming goal and the reaction of missing much chances, im football when you don’t score, you will receive goals.
Second half, Algeria entered with a new face to score the drawing goal and they did it by Bounedjah, who is the scorer in this cup. What made things harder for Algeria is the penalty given as a gift from defenders. However, Algeria players played till last moments where they managed to draw the score and keep their chances for the next round with 2 matches played and 2 points.

I can't really believed that Mauritania player missed that one on one goal and Angola didn't missed their opportunity and they scored their first goal at time of 30 minutes. Though Mauritanians are playing but I don't think today will favour them to score because the math is very tough for them. All the two goal keepers are good. But Angola goal is more professional than the Mauritania keeper.

They are still in the first half and the game is 0-1. Let's us see what  happens in the end of the game if Mauritania will score their goals. I am supporting Angola in the match.

Burkina Faso vs Algeria

OK, right now, we are live in the second half of the game and currently, Burkina Faso is leading with one goal, while Algeria is yet to score, though I must not do without stating that Algeria are really playing a very good game, they had the best ball possessions in the first half and did miss quite a number of goals.

Burkina Faso on the other hand did their best too, and speaking on their goal, I think they were very lucky with that one, the goal keeper would have easily saved that goal if not that konate was really close and headed the ball straight into the goal post, that is what I call "being at the right place at the very right time", congratulations to them, and I hope they are able to defend this goal and possibly score even more goals on this second half, though I strongly doubt Algeria will let them.

This game have really lived up to the hype,  because I was telling someone about Burkina Faso, how is see them as the dark horse in this tournament, just look at the kind of performance they have put in today, even though the Algerian team is dominanting much of the ball, the Burkina babes have really showed that they are no push over.
Right now they are leading Algeria 2-1 at it stance.

Anyone who have not accepted that this year's AFCON is different from others, is really not following the competition. This match between Algeria and Burkina Faso is a real confirmation that this tournament is different. Who would have imagined that Algeria will struggle to draw Burkina Faso! BFA won the first halve and were winning the match two goals to one until the 5th minutes extra time when Baghdad Bounedjah got an equalizer that. I'm sure that many gamblers were wiped out by this match because they would have given Algeria straight win.

You are absolutely right bud, like you are here with me lol, 😁, I have a friend over here lamenting how thought Algeria would easily win the match, and he bet #10,000 Nigerian naira on the game, but to his surprise and disappointment, the game ended In a 2:2 draw, and it was just a little chance, Burkina Faso would have won the match, I just can't contain the laughter to be honest 😂.

And honestly, Burkina Faso really surprised alot of people today, I myself expected this match to be an easy win for Algeria, but I am amazed how they(Algeria) dominated the whole game, but still struggled so hard to score goals, rather, the Burkina guys were the ones pushing through like Algeria have no working defence.

Anyways, it was an interesting match overall, one I really enjoyed watching, though I could not watch it to the finish as something came up and I had to rush off, congratulations to both team for their performance atleast.

these AFCON 2023 games are having many surprising results, in today's game many people thought that Algeria would be able to win easily, but that was only on paper because on the field things were not going well for Algeria who conceded a goal in the 1 half, but they in the 2nd half tried harder and managed to score the equalizer, but just when they thought they might have space to score the advantage, in the 71st minute they conceded another goal again and with that they were at a disadvantage, I even arrived thinking that they would leave this game with defeat, but just when the game was about to end they were lucky enough to score the equalizer. With this result, Algeria has only 2 points and has to pray that Angola's game against Mauritania ends in a draw

but it turns out that Angola is beating Mauritania at the moment I write this post, I don't know if the game will end with Angola's victory, but the game is close to ending and it seems to me that there is a greater chance of Angola winning this game, if Angola wins this game then Angola will be at the top of the group and Burkina Faso will be in second place and with that Algeria will need to pray that in the last game Angola will not draw with Burkina Faso and Algeria will need to win the game against Mauritania. The funniest part is that there were people who kept putting Algeria as a candidate team to win AFCON 2023, they also put Egypt and some teams that are used to winning. But this year things are completely different

I've been following up the games in the African Cup Of Nations since it was kicked off and I totally agree with you on your opinion about the difficulty in predicting games. Just like you, I've been unable to predict a game before kick-off and that's to tell how surprising most of the results in the tournament have been many of us.

I've been following up the games in the African Cup Of Nations since it was kicked off and I totally agree with you on your opinion about the difficulty in predicting games. Just like you, I've been unable to predict a game before kick-off and that's to tell how surprising most of the results in the tournament have been many of us.

The group stage is normally unpredictable in all competitions. Do you remember the World Cup when we saw Saudi Arabia beating Argentina and Cameroon winning Brazil at the group stage? However, most of these teams began to lose momentum in the second round while the more experienced teams progressed to the next round. Although I am fascinated by the performance of Cape Verde I am predicting that most of these underdogs might not make it to the quarterfinals.

It was a good performance by the Mauritania side in the games against Angola but their inexperience affected them negatively. The defenders were committing several blunders that made the Angolan side to score the goals. Balls that would have been cleared out of danger were erroneously given freely to Angola strikers. However, the Mauritanian side has made history by scoring a goal after playing ten in the African Nations Cup and Aboubakary Koïta's second goal will compete for the best goal of the tournament.

I tried my luck betting on the first few fixtures of the AFCON and didn't bother checking my slip in the end because there just weren't enough goals to have even given me the chance to think I won. The matches are only just getting tougher and the RO16 would be when I resume my betting madness.
Many of the African players plying their trade overseas are still trying to be careful not to sustain injuries that would leave them on the bench or on the doctors table after this AFCON is over.

This AFCON is highly competitive, and that's what makes it very interesting. The big boys don't get their wins easily, they have to work really hard for it.
So far only Senegal and Cape Verde have been able to win their first two games. Teams like Ghana, Egypt, and Tunisia have not been able to get a win after two games. So there are no assurances this time around.

Let's see if Morocco can make it 2 out of 2 today. They were good in their first match against Tanzania but it was till after Tanzania got a red card that Morocco could close the game. Today they play a more formidable opponent so let's see if they'll get all 3 points or share points, or even go without a point.

AFCON this year is really very competitive as most countries that are stronger than the other are really not finding it easy to win matches at all. Just take a look a Burkina Faso that everyone thought Algeria will have an easy win against them but the reverse was almost the case as it was Algeria that was even struggling to equalize Burkina Faso. The AFCON competition is really getting more interesting at this point because majority of the countries are trying their possible best not to lose out in the group stages.

Though Mauritania seems to be an easy win for Algeria but with the current surprises that lesser countries are showcasing in this AFCON competition, am afraid of what the outcome of Algeria match against Mauritania will turn out to be but however, I wish Algeria the best in that match because Algeria is one of the countries in Africa that plays entertaining football whenever they are playing against any country so hopefully they gonna win Mauritania.

Gamblers that I got to interact with recently mostly don't place bets on the AFCON games because they said it looks almost unpredictable due to the surprises and irregular patterns with their wins and losses so it's more like just watch and enjoy the game as betting on the game will get you been disappointed at the end of the game due to the kind of results you may see.

I'd bet on an above 2.5gial margin rather than bet for a straight win, because so far in the AFCON, there has been less harvest of goals with teams not scoring more than or even up to three goals in a match.
The AFCON sure looks unpredictable because even me right now can't tell who is going to lift the trophy until the RO16 comes then we can say for sure.

Mere looking at the odds, one would be quick to judge how the game would end and honestly I wasn't exempted from hoping Morocco would thrash D.R Congo but I guess the visitors had other plans. They went all out to upset morroco and of not that  Bakambu missed that penalty, they would have won the game. Statistics showed that Congo were pressing Morocco to a point got confused and opted to defend and hold that goal, atleast a point is better than nothing.
 For me I'd say this tournament is giving us a different package altogether; big teams are getting intimidated by the smaller teams and they are struggling to even win some games. Who knows, this is how the big teams will underestimate the smaller ones and they will end up qualifying for the next rounds instead of the big teams we are used to.
