In 2 days the AFCON games start, honestly I'm very worried about my country's national team, with so many weak teams, my country's national team fell into the group of very strong teams, I can't stop thinking that we will be very humiliated on the 14th when we play against Egypt, I start to think that we could concede a lot of goals in the game against Egypt and as if that wasn't bad enough, we will still have to play against Ghana which we will definitely lose, I saw Ghana and egypt the way they play, they are good teams with a good squad. although Ghana when I watched them play, they were having a hard time beating a weak team



but the difference in the squad was visible, so when I look at my country's national team, I only see that we will leave AFCON too early and with a bad image. Unfortunately, the majority of players from my country don't play in the big teams in Europe, we only have 2 players who play in prominent teams in Europe, which means that the difference in the squad in my country compared to Egypt is quite big. We definitely have no chance of going through to another stage, I'm thinking about betting on Egypt to beat my country. This and those cases in which a person needs to bet rationally while at the same time rooting for the team they love to win

@bering for me personally I feel that Egypt will win because of the Salah factor and currently he’s playing very well hence I feel that he can single handedly help Egypt win.

Mo' Salah has been really remarkable this season for Liverpool, but his success in Liverpool this season has not just been from his own effort, but the general effort of his club members. If Egyptian team and other players can provide same kind of support that is being provided to Salah in Liverpool, he will be able to provide same remarkable performance for his National side. On his own without support, Mo' Salah will not always be able to carry his team.

We(Nigeria) have the best strikers in the competition, and If enough chances are able to be created for them, we have a great chance to win the competition.

Having Victor Oshime, Saddens me to see Victor Boniface out Injured,. Having the explosive Ahmed Musa, Simon Moses and lastly Both Kelechi Iheanacho and Samuel Chukwueze gives us that edge when attacking any side.

Not impressed with the midfielder's truthfully, but we'll see how it goes most definitely. They're not what I feel like would supply and link the attackers with the defenders.
Mo Salah doesn't have same caliber of players he has with the club level at the National level, I don't expect too much from the magicians.

I share in your fears as it's clear for all eyes to see from the group but this is football and it comes with loads of surprises which makes the sport never a dulling moment for fans and viewers. You may be shocked that the most favorite teams end up not getting a favourable results which then kills their chances of qualifying to the next round from the group stage while the weaker team as we think them to be turn out to qualify by luck. Just keep your fingers cross while we wait for the events to unfold and just wish your country's team all the best hoping they will deliver to the best of their talents.

I agree with you but you missed one position that's so crucial to the team, which is the goalkeeper department. If it's all those departments you made mentioned that are the problem in our team then I don't think we have a problem, you see that goalkeeper position, that's the biggest problem we have currently. I think we need someone who can do better than Francis Uzoho. I don't see him as anything good in that Super Eagles team and I pray he doesn't go their and give us another dream like last time.

Let's forget about becoming the champions and focus on qualifying and even doing better. This is about the Eagles, haven't you noticed that whenever a group or team is easy for the Super Eagles to beat or qualify from that's when it becomes very difficult for the Eagles?
Now we're saying is only the host nation and Super Eagles that can come out easily but I know how they (Eagles) struggle with smaller nations, is so annoying. Ivory Coast the host of tournament are in group A of the competition. They’ve got a good squad who are quite quality in their respective clubs. Now they’re in same group with Nigeria and where we see Nigeria as the only strongest team in that group. With Ivory Coast’s quality, I think they’ll be joining Nigeria past the group stage of this competition.

 Guinea-Bissau who’ll be Ivory Coast’s first opponent aren’t in a good shape, and it’ll be quite difficult for them to defeat the host team especially in a match opener. So this will be an easy one for Ivory Coast cause if Guinea-Bissau could lose with a big defeat to Mali then I doubt if they'll be able to stand a chance against Ivory Coast that's been one of the strongest contenders of this tournament over the years. Looking at Ivory coast in contrast to Nigeria the Ivory's team are a more better team than that of Nigeria, checking at the three tiers in term of defence, midfield and attackers/strikers you will find out that without bias Ivory coast has it better. Nigeria has good strikers with a good manageable defence nevertheless their midfield is what many fans are all worried about as they have not been up and doing in distribution of  the ball to the attackers in creating goals chances. In my personal opinion, Ivory are favourable to qualify with Nigeria just of a little advantage above other teams in there group.

Equatorial Guinea is another country that shouldn't be underated in the group, of course soccer pundits and analyst had predicted Ivory coast and Nigeria as the two team that would qualify from the group, however from my own point of view the Super Eagle do fumble when you expected the team to fly high though my mind is telling me that playing against Equatorial Guinea would tough for both Nigeria and Ivory coast though Guinea-Bissau who is also the group is not too formidable to pose any threat to the other three countries, however the goals scored against them by those three countries would determine how they would be placed on the table above all there isn't going to be any easy match in the group.

You are forgetting that same Salah that doesn't has the same caliber of players he has at club side played at the last Afcon final with Senegal. Egypt has good quality players who can still deliver when it matters.

Football comes with loads of surprises as we all know but not in the case of, Egypt and Ghana not qualifying for the group stage they fall into. I see it in no way, that Cape Verde or Mozambique would qualify ahead of Egypt or Ghana in the Group B stage.

Egypt and Ghana are among the countries that we hope or believe have the chance of becoming the African champions this year, expecting them to be kicked out of the group stage by weak countries is way beyond imagination.
No need to think about the impossible. The Group B-qualified countries are to be Egypt and Ghana. Mozambique and Cape Verde should try their luck again in the next AFCON if only they qualify for it. Till then we hope that they fall into a group that has weak performance as a country.

 Well according to my findings, Ivory Coast is a team with a very good record in the Afcon and I believe they won't let what Bissau did to Gabon happen to them. Even the bookies favours them and that's why they gave Ivory Coast @1.2 odd and more than 20 odds for Guinea Bissau, however let's watch and see how the game plays, if Ivory Coast would start their opener with above 1.5 scoreline.

We in the final 10 minutes of normal time in the first game of this year's CAF African Cup Of Nations tournament and the host nation Ivory Coast are leading by two goals to nil. My dream three man leading the attack already failed due to his Injury.

I wanted a Victor Boniface, Victor Oshime and Samuel Chukwueze leading the attack since they're all Ina top form for them various leagues.
Not sure how them midfielder's would be, I'm not convinced they'll do well. Alex Iwobi and who else? Joe Aribo? No! No! He's not in a good form he shouldn't be started. This Portuguese coach can also be very demanding and at same time stubborn. Let's see what he achieves with the Super Eagles.

If it's the defenders for Nigeria, I can verify already it'll be solid, they only lack midfielder's.
