First, I apologize for confusing you with someone else. This was not intended and of course my comments about your code were misdirected. I have no idea what code you used, as it is not published. Maybe, you improved things in the code that I didn't see yet.
The changes of bitcoin code to compile on OS X is well documented and public knowledge. Diamond is using the same code base + few modifications and therefore "suffers" from the same fixes. It is also using an "obsolete" code base, although this is not a problem in most areas -- because newer code is not always better -- and because we do not seek the same functionality. But that is irrelevant to porting Diamond to different platforms.
Apologies accepted. Anything I can do to help any further? Maybe, publish what you changed in the code to make it compile under OS X so that it is not wasted effort and gets incorporated in the official Diamond code. Here are the changes I made. https://github.com/polanskiman/Diamond/commit/eef719fa298f9f60ee79b98c99759da44eb8c5c5

This is more or less the same set of changes I referred to (you can see them in the pending pull request to DMDcoin/Diamond). But you did some more nice changes. I have some questions, but perhaps will ask outside this thread, as to not fill it with purely code style/compatibility comments. Hopefully, we can have one final OS X release supporting as many versions as possible.

My purpose was to simply make the minimum changes possible so that it would compile. I still received some warnings during compilation though, but I am thinking those are due to the fact that some parts of the code is deprecated/not used. Anyways, yes please shoot me a PM. We can take it from there.

Hey guys, is there a Windows miner for stratum based pools available?
but dont forget ur pool also need to be modified to be foundation share compatible update: im very unhappy with that miner srcxxx released he modified that pool mining only work on his pools..... i didnt find out earlier because i was solo mining.... ___________________________ this one should work on any stratum pool with correct foundation share setup http://sourceforge.net/projects/diamonddmd/files/sgminer_diamond_v4.1.0.zipuntil we release another one it include the 14.6 driver optimized files example bat (AMD290 solo primary and pool secondary) : sgminer.exe -k diamond -o localhost:17772 -u rpcuserXXXXX -p rpcpassXXXXXXXXX -o stratum+tcp://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3333 -u cryptonit.2 -p 2 --xintensity 300 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 16384 -w 256 --lookup-gap 0 --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500

The improved version of the main Diamond website is up http://bit.diamonds . It's still need some polishing but the concept is finally there. We want it to be focused and clean and not another parallax bootstrap clone. Even though, it uses some bootstrap elements. The forum is also there but needs some adjustments before it's fully ready to use. You can start registering there, however.

Just another generic, template, crypto website. http://www.maxcdn.com/ Oh, and the English needs revision too . . . . . . with tinypic images !?!?!? http://i41.tinypic.com/15i2mfp.jpgAdd: PM me if you ever want to get serious with your public image (I do websites and localizations at going rates).

Just re read what I've written and then you might understand that our aim was not to be parallax (so much associated with bootstrap framework) and I admitted it needs refinement (language and other elements). I'm not fulling anyone, even if it's 200% bootstrap, who cares? It represents Diamond just fine. Thanks for your feedback.

@Minepit Looks like a great idea How is progress with getting DMD mining pool working? I've been trying to modify the normal python stratum server we use but it was taking too long. I've switched to NOMP server now and we're currently testing whether it will accept blocks properly. Hopefully will be OK and we can get mining properly
