This is the dumbest conversation I ever heard in my life. lets get back to the community promoting Vericoin in different ways that was productive. No one gives a crap what someone is smoking he has the right to do whatever he wants, it is his body his property. He has done more for the coin you invested in then all of you combined. He served for this country, did you ? I like the picture idea near famous sites. That sounds great, statue of liberty would be the easiest for me.
Quote
You just dumbed it down. Significantly.
(I am glad you understood, is dumbed a word ?)
Quote
I am not goping to even qualify what you said about "serving" because it is so preposterous and inappropriate that I won't dignify it with elaboration. Others have quite eloquently in the past and for me that is that.
(I did not ask for your opinion on my comment so thank you for not elaborating.)
Quote
But as for having "the right to do whatever he wants", in public and representing my money, no he doesn't, ok?
(Not ok. The fact that you cannot stop me from going to the top of the empire state building and holding up a big weed leaf poster means I just might have the right to do whatever I want. I may not represent your money but it can be construed that I do by people such as yourself who do not know that only 3 people represent this particular coin.)  <---- If you would like me to dumb this down some more for you let me know
Quote
No he won't. If he's not capable of appearing professional in a public display of representation of my coin, he simply wont. Because if he does, it would be an embarrassment for a coin and a community... of which I wouldn't be part of.
{ Professional appearance defined by you ? Would you like to tell him what to wear and how to act, or maybe you can give him a class in thought control I heard that's getting popular. ROFL. I just do not understand how you have the time to sit around and complain about this silliness regarding a persona that is not you and who has repeatedly stated he does not represent YOUR coin. lol. You must be rich because I have no time to worry about things like this. Rent is due soon, utilities ... so I need to find more side work, I spend what little amount I could afford on this coin because after looking through all the rest this looked like the team and coin for me }
Quote
No go looking for landmarks to photoshop with the logo as high as you want to be. You have every right. Just like you have to expose your bullshit here. And me to answer it in due course. It works both ways.

It looks here as though you felt as if you need to attack me by accusing me that I will photoshop my promotional picture ..... its all silliness to me, I will block you now because you clearly are fudding because if you were really were concerned about Vericoins image then you would act PROFESSIONALLY  and contact the proper people instead of posting it on a free for all forum to create an negative image or impression regarding someone who has done more for this coin then you. You should be thanking him for all he has done with physical silver and other promotions instead of publicly trying to accuse him or humiliate him like I have seen other FUD dirtbags do .... but I do understand where you are coming from regarding Professionalism. You see I am on your side....... But you are not.

I realize what you are saying, I am aware of what you are trying to say... and the answer is NO.

I know I will it is a pain in the ballz to buy BTC so I can get more VRC. I cannot wait for this to happen

Converting my money into btc is a pain in the butt. Buying vrc directly from the wallet will make me buy more vrc.

And if I want to buy other coins, I'll still go through fiat>vrc.

So I'm still waiting on my Vericoin (as well as other coins) to withdraw from Mintpal after 48hours. They withdrawals are still showing as 'pending' in Mintpal and haven't appeared on any of the blockchain explorers.

Anyone else having issues like this?

I've raised a ticket with them but no response after 24 hours now...

Definitely done with Mintpal for good!! Well, once I get this resolved that is...

I just did a quick test withdraw from Mintpal to my Vericoin wallet and the withdraw was processed almost immediately. Using VRC wallet version 1.3.3.0.

Have you updated your wallet?

UPDATE: 6.52pm AEST I've just got 10 confirmations on the withdrawal transaction and the test 2 vrc in my wallet is finished. Whole process took about 15-minutes. No problems with Mintpal.com on this end.

I know you all probably are sick of hearing me say this but it is worth keeping an eye on.

I have been taking stats on the distribution of vericoin. Would anyone else like for me to keep a database of vericoin rich lists so they can be analyzed over time?

From my unofficial tallying I am seeing some pretty incredible trends in distribution, This is just the past 12 hours, but this is the trend I have seen for the past few weeks since I started tracking this info.

about 12 hours ago I tallied the rich list as

32.28% top 10        - 32.28%
66.10% top 100      - 33.82%
98.62% top 1000     - 32.52%
100.0% top 1000+   - 1.38%

32.28% top 10        - 32.28%
65.89% top 100      - 33.61%
98.61% top 1000     - 32.72%
100.0% top 1000+   - 1.39%

Just checked a few minutes ago

32.28% top 10         - 32.28%
65.77% top 100       - 33.49%
98.61% top 1000      - 32.84%
100.0% top 1000+    - 1.39%

As you can see from viewing the stats. It looks like distribution in the past 12 hours is happening mostly from the top 100, into the top 1,000 wallets. I have noticed the value outside the top 1,000 grow constantly for weeks now.

I could start time stamping these results and put them on a website to be viewed by others.

I'm on Mac, maybe there's an issue with the max wallet?

I have other transfers from mintpal still pending after 48 hours.. I'm away from my computer currently but I'll try again tomorrow and report back.

Unfortunately it's very difficult to say much about the top 100, would be better if the first 100 wallets were each broken down into their own section.

Though I don't own VRC, I think this is ultimately better than the Top 10 dropping, unless those are exchanges.

Thx for stopping into the VeriCoin thread!

A lot of them are exchange accounts. People insist leaving coins on exchanges for some reason.

Its been stated from the developers they would rather have lots of small investors, spending and using VeriCoin, than a few large whales just holding. For me the rich list is one of the most important metrics to see if VeriCoin is succeeding at its goal. Which is to make money transfer so easy, that people without computer experience can benefit from paying through the blockchain using the VeriCoin Network.
