Hi.
Patrike I need your help in very first step.

I'm trying to create a Managed Profile Miner.
My steps are:

1. Add Host with IP adress - it is ok. Succesfully connected to Awesome miner
2. Add Profit Managed Miner with host in step #1
3. Press a button - GPU setting - Setting via AM and MSI Afterburner
4. Now I can see all of my GPUs of Rig#2
5. Next I press a button Map to system monitoring and nothing is happenings?
6. Button Start(in upper menu) is not active

Where I have to dig in here?

I have 1 GPU on a computer where AM is running, it is difined like local miner Rig#1 and this is working well on Managed Profit Switching with all predifined pools are activated and with my BTC address printed in.

I settled the MsiAfterburnerServerAgent with AM Remote Agent on my Rig#2.

What should I do to start minig with My Rig#2

And I'd like to point out on some moments of AM

1. I have about 100 Antminers of different types which are united in different groups.
When some of groups are opened it is not possible to see the main group string which shows summary statistic of a group. Can you attach groups to the top of the screen, so it could be always seen and be easy to deploy or to collapse. Now when I scroll my miners down the main string of a group is being go away.

2. The options Sort by miners name is not working properly. For example a miner with IP 192.168.0.117 is going before a miner with IP 192.168.0.56

3. Can you Add in main string of a group an ability to sort a data in columns, espesially a column Status.
Because when you have some of the miners are deactivated it is not possible to apply a command to the whole groups of miners.

4. Sometimes AM shows me asics as Deactivated, so it is not possible to apply any comands to it, while when I connect to asic via browser with IP address it is connected and colud be rebooted from inner menu of asic.

Hi, just discovered this software and managed to set it up in short time, added the managed profit miner and all seems fine. I can see that It can check for profitability every 30 minutes and switch to another one, if considers it is more profitable then current one.

Since I am not familiar with working mechanisms of the software, what happens to currently mined but not-yet-paid amount, in case if a switching occurs? Does it stuck waiting in a pool or ?

Thanks for this software, appears promising and hope I can make it work as expected.

Visit the help section for this software, it will give you all the info that you need  >> http://www.awesomeminer.com/help.aspx

If you switch pools ie, mine on zpool and then switch to Nicehash or any of the other services that this software supports, your balance stays on the pool until you reach the payout minimum.

I was using Nicehash and the software that they offer, but when I found this I never went back, this is my main software I use now and mine from just two services (zpool / Hash Refinery). My income is better from these two pools over Nicehash.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have never tried nicehash etc. But this software seems quite logical, since its (appears) making only the switch you are going to apply in your rig, stopping a .bat and and run another.

I will read help files, but what I understand is, the more hashrate power you have in total, the higher rate of the projected profit you get. So you need to quickly reach the pool limits otherwise cant make use of currently high profit rates, am I right?

If this is the case, I think its best to arrange users from different locations to make their rigs work alltogether, the software appears support this.

Is anyone else having issues with Coins not being updated anymore? Some of them are seemingly being updated, but many others just stopped.

Is one of the data services you are pulling from down patrike?

As you know Nicehash is down today. When using profit switching on a antminer what happens when a pool is dead? If the most profitable pool is dead, does it use the second most profitable?

Well, since NiceHash got hacked and won't come back on at least 24hrs, I pointed my miners to zpool. But right now it is showing some crazy numbers https://imgur.com/a/XGUbU

Either that or somehow Lyra2rev2 is paying like crazy!

Is there a way to disable some certain gpu when using auto-switch?

I know I can use the command "-d 1,2" to disable gpu0 when using regular miner config but I couldn't find a way to do the same with auto switch.
I tried to add it in the mining software config in the profit profile but it doesn't work.

You should get an idea of your earnings from Awesome miners panel (see the post by xChackOx just before yours) but the real figures are from the mining pool you are using, they are the ones paying you, it is nothing to do with Awesome Miner. Generally a pool allows you to set the payment threshold.

From time to time, zpool.ca site displaying "error 502 bad gateway". Is this a problem for the miner ? Because it seems continue mining without any problems.

I've left my miner(s) alone, still doing their job, so when the site returns we will find out.

The API seems to be sending data to Awesome Miner with prices, so I think we are OK, but don't quote me on that. Smiley

Update: Site is back (zpool), but please expect some outages during the day..

Help please , Awesome miner newbie , I have moved over since Nicehash was hacked....

I have 2 mining computers both running the free version of the software

1 of them is a nivida system 2 x 1080ti , it is happily mining away.....using zpool and awesome miner Smiley

BUT

My 2nd system 4 x AMD rx 470 when I used add new miner

I click next , choose Managed Profit miner , name my miner , mining host = local , profit switching mode = AMD GPU

Click next , it does not ask me to tick zpool etc or to enter BTC address , so I goto properties overide pool settings , I tick Zpool and enter my address....Mining then starts but it will not stay on , it hooks up to the miner , test stability then when it comes to starting to mine building library then it crashes , it tries say 3 times then fully stops Sad

Anyone offer any help please.

Delete that miner and set it up as a My Profit Miner -- test this to see if it works.

Oh, wait ......

'Click next , it does not ask me to tick zpool etc or to enter BTC address , so I goto properties overide pool settings , I tick Zpool and enter my address....'

You don't need to do this, remove the tick in the override settings, it should work from the main settings under Profit Switching for Zpool.

Click Options > Click on Profit Switching on the left side, tick zpool and enter wallet address.

Oh, wait ......

Thank you I have tried that , I have even uninstalled and re-installed the software , the strange part is that on my Nvidia system when I added a new miner , it asked me to put my bitcoin address in and tick which ones to use Zcash etc , but it does not come up with that option it just finishes and I have to override the profile to put the bitcoin address in , the same thing happens as detailed above it starts , checks , then stops.....
