First thanks for this awesome software. I found your software ware after nicehash went down. I am just learning this software so I am sure my question is easily answered.
I have benched my cards and have begun mining. As I am mining, I notice about 90% of the time my mining will go from a constant $13.30 per day then dwindle down to under $3 a day and it will not switch algo's. I expect this based upon market, etc but it does not switch. I have to manually stop the miner and restart it. At that time it find a better algo and begins that course.
Is there a setting that I am missing? Maybe a setting where I can say no less than $10 a day then switch?
I have 4 GTX 1070's.
Thanks for your help.

when you created your miner, did you choose profit miner? you also need to be part of more than one pool. for GPU's, Neoscrypt and Equihash are most profitable, so I have those two algorithms chosen over Zpool and Hashregister as my mining pools. keep in mind, what AM reports as profit is not always accurate. there's delay in updates as everything switches so frequently, so check your wallet balances on the pools day to day to see what your production average is. lastly, make sure you do a precise benchmark for the algorithms you are mining. you only need to do it once as the profile applies to the 1070's you have. if you had a mix of cards, you would need to benchmark each model, but if they're all the same, even if different brand (MSI vs EVGA vs PNY etc), you don't need to worry.

question about buying an AM license. if there's a group of us that are all running the same thing, with the same settings, can we share an Enterprise license with the multi-user login? or does that break the ToS?

I am not clear on adding a pool. There is nothing showing under options/pool but obviously I must be using one because I'm mining.

Hello! Quick question - how do I assign different GPUs to different pools?
The "Enable/Disable" button is greyed out on the GPU tab for the pool, and using Rules does not switch off GPUs either (and would do it globally). I've looked through all settings and do not see an easy way to just mine altcoins on zpool with one GPU and eth on nanopool with the other GPU.

with AM being so big and having as many users, why don't they have a dedicated forum to discuss it and its nuances?

Anybody having issues with the statistics module connecting to whattomine from AM? Ping requests and normal browser checks to www.whattomine.com works outside the software, but when AM attempts to connect to it and find the json it spits back out: "[E]Failed to download string from: http://www.whattomine.com/asic.json System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable." EDIT: - Tried parsing the json stats directly from python and it denied it too, seems like whattomine might of blocked connections if the connection isn't from a web browser agent?

Can we add an action that changes the webgui password and root password for the miners. I have my trigger set to detect the default bitmain pool and then change the pool to my preset pools but I would also like for it to then login root:root at the ip of the miner and change the password. The link is below for one of my miners replacing NEW with the variable for whatever the desired password would be. It would make batch deployment easier as it is I have to do it by hand for every miner. http://10.0.0.63/cgi-bin/passwd.cgi?current_pw=root&new_pw=NEW&new_pw_ctrl=NEW

As some of you noticed already. WhatToMine API isn't working. This is the reason you will see 0 everywhere in the application. See comment from WhatToMine on the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=567730.msg26214219#msg26214219

The HW Errors Trigger for ASIC is not working any more. Before last update I picked up the value 11, this figure was not clear to me, it's definitely not "%", but it worked. After the last update (I think) even 1% does not work, although the errors just fell more than 1000, which was more than 1%. Then I restarted ASIC and got 4% of the errors, but the trigger does not work. (( Something broked with this.
The HW Percent rule in Awesome Miner is comparing number of HW Errors with the number of Accepted shares and calculates a percent out of that. It's been like that for 3 years. The Antminer HW Error Percent reported directly from the miner may be a bit different. What does Accepted and HW Errors looks like? pic here: the trigger does not work with any value now. Why not use a what Antminer HW Error Percent reported directly? This would be more correct than counting the number of the shares, which is very dependent on the pool and the stratum difficulty. Especially when restarting the miner is very critical. Regards!

Here's a possible issue: why can't I edit the "Add to worker name" field on a template (under General->Mining Pool)? I am using a built-in miner and and have selected a pool. I can edit the field ok on the managed miner's properties with the same other settings.
Yeah so this is kind of a big problem with pools like Nanopool where you want to append the worker name. If you apply templates then it breaks pools that don't support such a syntax. I haven't tried yet but is it possible to edit the setting through editing the configuration file? I realize it may be over-written if you edit the template through AM. Maybe I'm not understanding the problem here. The template does not append the name. The pool and miner define the name. The pool provides the prefix, and the miner provides the rig name... like "puwaha.rig1" The "puwaha" part comes from the worker name in the pool, and the ".rig1" comes from the miner. The template just marries the pool to the rig. Templates are meant for quickly switching to another pool or coin quickly... it's not meant for profit miners. Am I misreading the question? This has nothing to do with profit miners. The problem is with pools that need an email address after the rig name in order to access account settings, like Nanopool (format like ADDRESS.WORKER/EMAIL). This format won't work with other pools that don't take the email part. I guess setting it in templates wouldn't work anyway if it has the rig name in it. I'm not sure what the solution is. AM maybe needs an additional field to store the email separately. The pool properties has an "ignore add to worker name" checkbox. Maybe add a text field there to store the email address.

The Electroneum profit calculation is rather strange. This comes from WhatToMine right? AM has always been high on the profit for Electroneum but the percentage gap widens as the WhatToMine profit goes up. For example:
WhatToMine $66 AM $100
WhatToMine $79 AM $142
Any idea why this is?

I don't know exactly why, but WhatToMine calculates with at 35% pool fee (bad luck) on ETN: https://whattomine.com/coins/213-etn-cryptonight

Hi, You need to create more than one miner, and for each miner you need to specify the command line for only using specific GPU's. For example if you run Claymore Miner you specify "-di 0,1" on the first miner and "-di 2,3" on the second. The difficult part is if you are going to do profit switching with many mining software. Awesome Miner doens't have any automatic way of setting this up for you, so it will be some work to figure out all command line parameters for all software to be used. Enable/Disable concept for GPU's are only for mining software that has support for this feature. It's not supported by all.

It's not possible to run multiple instances of Awesome Miner at the same time on a single computer. Even if you create multiple accounts, you cannot use the application at the same time. The web interface allows multiple users to login, but that one is limited in terms of functionality.
