it won't matter.

all it takes is for one of the exchanges to hit and surpass gold to trigger The Thunderclap which will be heard round the world.

it will mean Bitcoin has truly, truly arrived.

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

quite a ride, eh, from back in the good 'ol days of 2011?  the speed has taken the breath away.

It's been fun! Remember when I said I was comfortable with the amount of gold I held way back then? Here we are... Smiley

Seems that it's really a resistance, a little surprise to me.
