Yup. They are still taking some more time to relaunch the off-chain SD Tribute. 2014 Jan: To those who keep inquiring; YES, TRIBUTE will relaunch. No definitive date yet, but it's in the works, and we look forward to sharing the good news. Thank you for asking 2014 May: Any news regarding future developments on the site? Like the tribute? I think many of us liked the design and the idea as a whole. Why did you give up Tribute?
We are currently dusting off the legacy site. We will restore it and establish it as a steady milestone in the Bitcoin history. We also plan to make tribute site work again.

With the closing of JustDice they could become the industry leader again if they can get tribute to work properly.

Did "tribute" have auto-bet? The automatic betting at Primdice is really fun if you use settings that your bankroll can afford.

Yes, most of the house win was made back in 2012 when the value of Bitcoin was just a fraction of today's value.

The problem then becomes a fiat paid out amount dramatically inflated as the formula is simply btc paid out * current conversion rate if it is applied as omahapoker has currently done so...you likely meant something different however.

Even if you sort by amount paid out I still don't think SatoshiDICE would be "The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game". The only metric I can think of by which SatoshiDICE is the most popular is in terms of blockchain space used.

That record is almost impossible to beat lol, as SD is taking almost every spots in the "most popular bitcoin addresses" (FYR: https://blockchain.info/popular-addresses).

This is also the only metric that can't be manipulated without paying miner's fees (or mining your own transactions with substancial hashing power). Popularity could also be measured in how much mining fees people are prepared to pay for playing, and Satoshi Dice paid 5578.39727500 BTC on payouts, plus almost as much has been paid by placing bets. So with a strict definition it is still the most popular Bitcoin game

So with a strict definition it is still the most popular Bitcoin game It seems very unfair to use SatoshiDice's spamming of the blockchain as a measure of popularity. Other dice sites don't spam the blockchain, preferring to work off-chain and paying for their own hosting rather than distributing the cost to everyone who runs a full Bitcoin node. That doesn't make them less popular. JD has had more bets and paid out much than SD, but because it hasn't spammed the blockchain you would claim it is "less popular"? That's pretty twisted logic.

Is this thread real? Wow, I can't believe satoshi dice was created in 2012! The owner must be quite rich Popularity could also be measured in how much mining fees people are prepared to pay for playing, and Satoshi Dice paid 5578.39727500 BTC on payouts, plus almost as much has been paid by placing bets. Well obviously, JD has a volume of 0 BTC because it is no longer operating. Why are you still attacking competitors, even when you are no longer running just dice? Stop pissing in other people's threads and just focus on running your own site. If you still ran noe.
