Islam doesn't hate people, Islam  who hate are things that are not in accordance with Islamic Shari'a. People will take advantage of this side for the sake of his own propaganda.

Anything which is not Islamic, is hated by the Muslims as per the Shakira law. That means that Muslims hate 80% of the world population. For them, the ultimate aim is to either exterminate this 80%, or to forcibly convert them to Islam. There is no Muslim nation in the earth, where the non-Muslim population is increasing (or even stable). This is not propaganda. This is the truth.

If I might suggest a parallel, just for discussion purposes.

Muslims do seem to hate pork.  But the Koran does not say "hate pork," it simply says not to eat it.

Somehow in the cultural practice of Islam, pork is elevated to hateable.  A simple "do/do not" edict from the Old Book is transformed into an emotional hot button.

It would seem many other things are also.

Indonesian Clerics Issue Fatwa Banning LGBT Advocacy Groups…

    Following the recent controversy over LGBT groups on university campuses, an ulema group has paved the way for banning all activities that advocate freedom of sexual orientation.

    The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has confirmed that it is currently preparing a fatwa, or a non-legally binding edict, that will recommend the prosecution of Muslims who join in LGBT-related activities.

    MUI chairman Ma’ruf Amin told The Jakarta Post the government-sanctioned body was preparing the fatwa and was soon to announce it.

    Ma’ruf said that as the MUI had earlier issued a fatwa declaring LGBT communities “religiously, culturally and morally deviant”, through this fatwa it was looking to ban Muslims from joining any groups promoting LGBT rights in Indonesia, a country with a majority Muslim population.

    “We want Muslims to be cautious of LGBT [activities]. This is not about LGBT people, but more to do with their movements. There is a lot that is deviant about it,” Ma’ruf said recently, adding that the fatwa was an effective way of reminding Muslims about the “danger” of LGBT movements, which he noted had increased in recent years in Indonesia.

    Ma’ruf said that the fatwa would also seek a ban on LGBT groups in Indonesia.

    LGBT activities on campus came into the spotlight recently when conservative media coverage attacked the Support Group and Resource Center on Sexuality Studies (SGRC) at the University of Indonesia (UI), triggering hostile remarks from public officials including Research, Technology and Higher Education Minister Muhammad Nasir and Education and Culture Minister Anies Baswedan.

    The hostility was exacerbated by a tough stance against LGBT rights from the country’s largest Islamic organization, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) — known for its moderate stance on minority issues — as well as from the traditionally inclusive National Awakening Party (PKB).

Right, my very thoughts exactly. It's actually the impression we give to every statement, may it be very religious or not, is what actually determines any motivation. Each should be responsible to question for themselves every belief and ideation they are being imposed with.

Perhaps many Muslims don't hate people. But Muslims aren't necessarily Islam. Islam includes at its base and core, the writings of the Quran and the Hadiths. These writings show that Islam hates people. Here's what to do to test Islam. If you are not Muslim, become Muslim. Then find a strict Muslim cleric and study with him a little, friend to friend. After a while, announce to him that you are changing religions to Christianity. Then become a Christian.

    Girls Not Brides, an international coalition of civil society organizations working against child marriage, cited this religious body as an obstacle toward reform. A number of provinces in Pakistan have pushed for legislation cracking down on child marriages, but implementing the law is more difficult.

    Clerics on the council object to minimum age requirements, arguing instead that an individual can marry once reaching puberty, which can be as early as the age of 9.

I'm confused.  I agree completely that violent Islam stems from Sayyad Qutb, and that is an offshoot of Wahhabism.  But in your opinion is Wahhabism not Islam?

I'm confused, there is just too much of different parts of Islam. Christianity is already complicated but Islam is far more Complex xD

there are fractions in islam, sunny and shiits then salafist,vehabismm..but generally they are cruel and against human..and animals..they kill pets..i don't think that their prophet told this but probably in what we now see as islam are influences of different tribes and their habits who lived there..in Iraq in northern tribes slowly begin to rise isis...
