^  Whether Havertz is a good or bad signing is still up in the air.  But for his price tag, Artera should def use him as the first choice to spear head the Gunner's offense and hope that he'll make way more goals than he did last season.  Lol.  I think he made less than 10 goals for 2022/23 season.

As for the thread's poll.  I think it's gonna be City winning the league again.  But also thinking Liverpool could make a resurgence.  Did Klopp make any good signings?
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA talk - PFL, Bellator, KSW, ONE... on: July 17, 2023, 12:46:40 PM
^  The thing with competitive sports is, it has become a huge business with athletes getting paid hundreds of millions of dollars in the whole duration of their careers and we still think that these athletes are 'clean'?  I think the lot of them are not.  Take cycling, everybody thought Lance Armstrong was this role model, but no...  Got caught for doping.  So it's just a matter of getting caught.  Does everybody really think the fighters in the UFC, Bellator and these other organizations are clean?  Lol.

But tbh, I don't really care.  I just want to watch these guys throw leather.  If anything, I think it should be regulated.

^  JDM had two weight cuts in a span of a week or so.  That's prolly why he wasn't able to get the finish.  The other thing tho is Hafez incorporated a lot of wrestling in his game plan.  So next time JDM is matched with a good wrestler, like a Rick Simon type of fighter, and lines as a huge favorite buyer beware.

As for Holm...  Meh.  What a pie shtter.  Pretty sure a lot if parlays were busted.  Lol.

Til next time sports fans!  Wink

Jack Della Maddalena looks tired in that fight actually those two weight cuts could surely take a toll on his performance for sure and Hafez is just an average wrestler, not as explosive as Khamzat Chimaev or Gilbert Burns for sure he would not last long,

It could prolly also mean he isn't really as good as he's said to be.  To think he was matched vs Sean Brady before the match vs Hatez.  Brady is a good wrestler who prolly would've rag dolled JDM around the cage.  I think the line for that match up was close to a coin flip.  Good value for Brady.  :/

Holm looks worn out even before the fight started. Shes 40, it's a wonder why she still signs 5 fight contract in UFC despite how old she is for this combat sport. Striking is not impressive anymore imo. If Ronda comes back and they face again, it will be Holm on the ground. I guess she was just lucky that time since Ronda just keeps walking straight to her like a punching bag.

Yup!  You could tell just be the way her face looked as she was walking to her dressing room.  She didn't look all too pleased to have a fight.  Like she was anxious about something.

Anyway watch how Dudakova vs Nunes ended.  Gross.

And this next event...  Lots of closely lined bouts.  :/

Give it up to another 10 days imo. Usually after 3 weeks of consolidation in a tight range there is another weeks worth prior to a break-out  Wink

Not overly concerned about not getting a break out as of yet tbh.  I'm more concerned about how long would the liquidiy last in support.  As we all already know, it won't last forever and it's gonna get sold down on over and over.  Hopefully sellers run out of sht soon before it happens.

Buy orders could dry up in the range around the red bar.

Riccardo if he will go fast will take the spot of Perez next year in RBR.
This is just a test for RBR to see if he is fast enough.

Also as you may have read Norris is set to join Ferrari in 2025 according to rumors from England.

As already said, I think the writing is on the wall for Perez.  I don't think Helmut Marko and Horner would get Ricciardo back if they didn't have any plans for him to take the second drive in Red Bull.  But I don't think it will be next year as Perez still has until the end of 2024 in his contract.  His days are numbered no matter how good he'll be for the remainder of this season and the next.

Good times ahead for the Aussie.  Would be funny if they get engine troubles on 2026 and cost them a spot or two on the grid for a couple of seasons.  Lol.

Alriiight!  I'm so pumped for the event that's coming in around 10 hours guys.  I've been pacing back and forth in excitement!  Cheesy  Seriously tho, there are a couple of match ups that piques my interest.  And that's both matches of the UFC debutants.  Don't know why they're huge favorites, esp the one with Tyson Nam.  KO prop is at 11.00...  Could he good as Maskim is giving off pie shtter vibes.  :/

Here are the weigh ins and face offs.

^  I haven't been watching the Ultimate Fighter but LOL that's funny...  Chandler coaching both fighters in the semis and the finals.  Cheesy Cheesy  Wtf is going on??

The UFC brass must be regretting the decision at the thought of trying to build McGregor's image back.  The guy is done.  And what is McGregor doing in the Ultimate Fighter anyway?  It's not like he needs the money or anything.

But yeah...  What a disaster.  It sucks for Chandler as McGregor did him dirty.  Making him think he'll get paid, but no.
1029  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 14, 2023, 01:24:29 PM
There's a guy online who says he got some data that goes back to October 2009 and it shows that BTC's best performing month on average is July.
There is always one guy who has some data saying month X is the best or worst performing month for bitcoin Cheesy
The reality however is that months don't affect the market, the participants do. This is why we are still in sideways market and will continue to remain in this "limbo" for some more time which is what I voted for too.

The thing is, it isn't like he pulled July from his ass.  The guy used real data from the years since BTC started being bought and sold in an actual market.  So we can't just laugh and say he's being 'that guy'.  :/  I mean if the data says July had a higher than average chance of being a good month for BTC in the past then it could also mean July this year could also have a higher than average chance of being a good month.

Anyway, last call for the first part of Bitcasino's prediction contest for the guys who missed it.

1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: July 14, 2023, 12:58:10 PM
There is no such thing as Sainz departure on the horizont,I think you have not read the news all over the place where Ferrari extended for another two seasons with Sainz while Leclerc is near it too so there is no room for Albon to come to Ferrari, not at least before another 2 seasons end.

I think Perez has still everything under control as long as he can qualify second in points in the end of this season which is easy doable in my opinion considering he has the best car on the grid then he would be renewed his contract, why would want Redbull to ruin things as long as Max wins titles and his team mate is 2nd overall?

Yeah I know about his contract extension. His new contract is until the end of 2024 for now. There are just rumours out like that but to be honest Sainz is a talented driver and I love the competition between him and Leclerc. Ferrari see their drivers equal now so this makes the competition even tougher.

I was talking about Ricciardo to Red Bull but Ricciardo has been announced as AlphaTauri's new driver in de Vries' place until the end of the season.  Smiley  Perez's seat must be safe for now. Yeah Max's winning titles is what Red Bull want first but there is a really significant drop in Perez's effort recently anyway. They would like to see both of their drivers on podium as much as possible.

Source: https://twitter.com/F1/status/1678776048513847297

Same here, been yapping about Ricciardo to get the second drive at Red Bull since the day it was announced that Horner and Helmut agreed to acquire Ricciardo as their reserve driver.  But I think him getting the drive at Alpha Tauri sets him up perfectly to get the second drive at Red Bull.  Perez still has til end of 2024 in his contract.  And Ricciardo needs more track time at real live races to get the rust out and sharpen his skills...

The writing is on the wall imho.  Ricciardo will get seat no. 2 at Red Bull on 2024.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 14, 2023, 12:47:28 PM
But yeah...  I'm rooting for Ngannou to win and get the upset.  Lol.  I think that would for sure be the most entertaining result even for boxing fans.  Everybody loves an underdog.
You will be wasting your money betting on him to win, but it is possible for him to shock down Fury in one or two first rounds.
Nobody was able to beat Fury and that wont be any MMA fighter, and I am saying this with big respect for Ngannou.
Fury is smarter fighter and that is going to win this fight, not just power of strikes.

For sure it's a long shot and I'd just be giving away my BTC but I usually just make small bets for the lulz.  If Ngannou via KO is lined at 10.00, I bet 20 bucks and win 200.  I'd say that's a fair value bet because think about it, if Fury and Ngannou fought 10 times Ngannou could get lucky once out of 10 times.  So at those odds, I won't mind taking it.  But we'll see.  Props won't be online til days before the event.

I think Ngannou R1 or R2 as hilarious suggested would be good value bets too imho.  You just can't count the powerrr in those hands out.

^  Yup...  Even UFC London at the week after this one doesn't even excite me much.  Still gonna watch it tho.  Lol.  But there are some fun match ups this weekend.  I think Nam vs Maksum will be good, Costa vs Lingo, McKinney vs Sadykhov, Duraev vs Park and of course any Azaitar match will be hilarious.  Cheesy  Watch him and Matt Frevola go at it.

So yeah..  Made another long shot, pipe dream parlay as usual.  10 bucks to win 29k.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

And weigh in is in a couple hours or so.  Enjoy!  Cheesy

1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: July 13, 2023, 02:38:43 PM
I think I found a memecoin that could be huge on 2024.  It just got started a couple of months ago.  It's just at 17.5m market cap, kinda high for a microcap memecoin but low enough if it's going to trend up to a billion market cap for a 100x or prolly does the pipe dream and go up to 10b?  Not financial advice...

But anyway, you guys ready..?  The token is called HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu.  Cheesy  And you know what the ticker is?  'Bitcoin'!  Lolololol!  You guys have to see their schizo marketing videos with the guy all painted in blue.  He's hilarious!  It's in their Twitter.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 13, 2023, 02:20:39 PM
^  As long as it's a real fight with the guys really throwing leather, who cares if it's filed as just an exhibition match.

Francis started out as a boxer, he just pivoted into MMA.
This is true, but Fury is best of the best in boxing, he is on different level compared to all other boxers.
He is one of my favorite boxers today, not just because of his fighting skills but because of his life story, he was very depressed few years ago, near suicide, extra fat overweight, and he came back from that.
This is a great story for a good movie one day.

Ngannou's story is far more worthy of a biopic.

I wonder how high the Ngannou via KO prop will be lined at.  Grin  If Fury is lined at 1.11 to win the match then that could mean Ngannou could be lined around 8.00 - 9.00?  So his KO prop would prolly be lined at around 12.00 - 15.00.  I'd say that's a good value bet if you're for Ngannou.

But yeah...  I'm rooting for Ngannou to win and get the upset.  Lol.  I think that would for sure be the most entertaining result even for boxing fans.  Everybody loves an underdog.

Yeah. Fury is due a humbling too. I will for sure put on some bets for Ngannou to win by KO or maybe even first round KO if the odds are good.

Lol totally.  Ngannou grew up so poor and he worked in a sand mine somewhere in the outskirts of South Africa as a kid.  Pretty sure doing all the work he did over there helped his body develop and gain its optimal potential, aside from having good genes.

And yup, early rounds props would be fun.  Hope we get something that are priced over 15.00.  If Ngannou gets lucky at winning it, it would be via KO at the first 5 rounds imo.  Would be sooo funny if he starches Fury stiff.  Cheesy
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 13, 2023, 01:58:18 PM
You know the event sucks when nobody is talking about it itt but me.  Lolol.

Here you go guys, a couple of pre fight interviews from the girls in the main event.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Enjoy...

Holly Holm: 'I Do Feel Like I am One Fight Away From the Title'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m5MZBEVTVQ

Mayra Bueno Silva: 'I Want to Hurt Her'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YY0fsVNSaKw

Anyway, it could still be a good event for betting since the lines wouldn't be that sharp as no money is really piling in the books for it.  Wink  I'm waiting for Tyson Nam via KO prop.  That could hit imho.  The line is so wide, it would be a crime not to put a little money in it.

Just made my picks for the Multi Master and the more I think about it, the more I see this *sarcasm starts here* 'banger  of a card' is really a sleeper banger...  Meaning you don't expect it to be good but it turns out actually good in the end.  It could surprise us for real guys, I'm not kidding.

Anyway, I got 8 match ups to finish inside the distance.  But for underdogs, I got just 4.  5 if you consider Azaitar an underdog.
