1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - July 8 on: July 06, 2023, 08:37:25 PM
For these who were waiting for this fight - bad news, it got cancelled again as Ortiz withdraws from fight just few day before it:
https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/37970020/vergil-ortiz-jr-withdraws-bout-vs-eimantas-stanionis
It's getting ridicuous as fight got cancelled for 3rd time. I hope that Stanionis won't agree to fight with Ortiz again and these circumstances keeps him already 15 months without a fight.
Too bad, fans have been waiting for this fight, although Ortiz is the favorite hands down. We don't know though who to believed too, because the articles says that he can't make weight, that's why the postponement.

So GBP is now headlining Floyd Schofield Jr vs Haskell Lydell Rhodes.

In any case though, I think that Ortiz might be done, I mean he has rhabdomyolysis and now diagnosed with long COVID? very hard to recover if your body is not cooperating.
1022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: July 05, 2023, 11:40:47 AM
Yeah and what's there to wait for? Because for the past twelve months the whole community, including altcoins, has experienced LUNA crash, FTX bankruptcy, other centralized services bankruptcies, the bank runs in the U.S., and the SEC FUD. Bitcoin is still above $30,000, close to +100% since November!

It's not that I'm too arrogant, yes, regarding the matter of certainty, for me altcoins cannot be placed on long-term expectations and returns cannot be expected like Bitcoin.

Altcoin holders can argue that my opinion about the altcoin is wrong because more than twelve months I have seen several of them that are considered to have the potential to actually cause big problems, such as FTX and LUNA.

It is not impossible that other altcoins that have looked good so far and have the potential to suffer the same fate as the two types of coins we have said.

In contrast to Bitcoin which is still and will continue to be used as a hope.

Actually there are certain periods during bull cycles when altcoins give higher returns than Bitcoin, and it's wise to trade some of your Bitcoin to take advantage of the volatility. But personally, I prefer my sanity over more profit. Hahaha. Plus I'm simply not a good trader. I lose more than I profit, so if people will come to me to ask for investment advice, I'll just tell them what I know = It's Pleb Life, HODL Bitcoin.
Yeah, who wouldn't want to have a good sleep at night knowing that your bitcoin is safe in your wallet and that there are no potential dump happening when you are in bed.

So most likely those who are selling their bitcoin to altcoin would lose their insanity,  Grin. But for those who are old enough or have matured on their crypto investments, we all know that bitcoin is the only coin that we should buy and then HODL for a long time.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin system on: July 05, 2023, 11:10:07 AM
I'm sorry but I don't understand the diagram, and if you are learning bitcoin/blockchain technology it's not that complicated to be honest with you. OF course, some of what you point are valid, but everything can be controlled, or at least if depends on how you deal with your wallet like hackings.

Blockchain uptime is 99.99, hasn't been hacked or something.

Brokers? you mean traders? yeah, it's us, whales and average joes.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: July 05, 2023, 09:03:41 AM
Remember that Canelo didn't have a good performance against John Ryder in Mexico. And there are a lot of boxing fans who are somewhat disappointed with his performance as he is expected to win by a knockout. And maybe he was really affected by his hand injuries. So he need to pick a fighter that he has a good chance to beat without damaging his legacy.

And maybe after this it will be Benavidez as it is reported that his deal with Al Haymon includes a fight with David.
I don't think Canelo's performance was bad against John Ryder, Canelo's performance is still good but Ryder is a true warrior since his nose was broke and he still able to continue the fight until the last round. But it's true Canelo is looking to fight with an opponent that wouldn't able to beat him, Jermall Charlo is one of the example.

The possibility Charlo to beat Canelo is pretty low, I'm more interested to watch Canelo vs Benavidez.

I very much agree. It appears for this fight Canelo only wants to collect money before his next real challenge which will be another round of negotiations for a rematch vs. Bivol. I speculate that he also does not want to fight Benavidez because it is risky and Canelo will lose his opportunity for Bivol if he is not the champion.

Canelo vs. Charlo is similar to an altcoin ICO. Hype it then take the money. Fans go home shaking their heads after watching an ordinary fight hehe.
But Canelo is no longer with Eddie Hearn, he has moved to PBC and Al Haymon, and maybe it's very tough to do the negotiations for the rematch for Bivol. If he really wanted a rematch then he could at least agree for a 1 fight deal with Hearn. But Canelo doesn't want any of that, Bivol is too fast for him to deal with.

Now, facing another Charlo, this time is the active now. So yeah, 3 fight deal and the first fight is going to be easy for him.

And as you have said, just to collect money and in the next 2 fights, probably the bigger Benavidez but we will have to wait and see.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 05, 2023, 08:39:51 AM
San Antonio can be a good place for an old Damian Lillard, when the number 1 draft diamond boy learning from him. The only thing that prevent this to happen its San Antonio never had a star player on hiw file, and yes tim duncan parker ginobili were stars but they are formed in San Antonio.
And DL its more individual player than collective.

That would be a lot of fun to see those two play together, but I do t think I see Lillard wanting to go there. Sure they got Greg Popavich who’s an absolutely legendary coach whom is revered by players, but I think it’s going to take more than one sensational (potentially) rookie for them to win a championship.

I would expect him to go to a little bit more mature of a team. But he’s also not a free agent so thats obviously going to hurt his shot at going yo the teams he really wants to.
Yes, I don't see Lillard looking for teams that they want him to be the mentor, on the contrary, I'm seeing Lillard going for teams that has a championship experienced or a good chance to enter the finals because he has been chasing at least a ring before he retires.

Maybe he is good friends with Butler and so he wanted to go to Miami. Although Miami under Butler hasn't won a ring yet, but they have been in 2 finals already and maybe they just need another one player like Lillard to finally get a championship, so it's a win-win situation for both of them.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: July 05, 2023, 08:15:35 AM
~snip~
what are the odds of winning in slots? 0.5%? maybe less
probably really small, you'll have to roll lots of times or be really lucky to make bank playing it

have you ever won any slot game?

The expected return on any gambling game is negative.

This means that for every $1 spent, you will receive less than $1. In the long term you will have $0.

Slots are designed to give you the feeling like you have won big when in reality you just got say 50c out of a $1 purchase.
Yeah, just played slot last time, in the beginning I was on the winning side and doubling my money and I thought that I can extend my winnings.

But slots is one of the worst, and immediately after that win and almost 3x my money, successive loses. Good thing is that I was able to control myself and withdraw and change games when I was still have that money from early winnings.

So lessons is that the longer you play the more money you gonna lose. So better be take everything and control while you can.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 04, 2023, 12:38:14 PM
Nope, Inoue already has established a good name and he has been mentioned by several boxing legends and some active boxers as well. Whoever Inoue is facing it will always going to generate a good money because the boxing fans would come to see Inoue's performance.

A boxer who have an excellent skill sets can be easily become popular that will attract boxing fans.
While he could generate a good amount of money, it doesn't compare to what he could make in the higher division. We can take a cue from the experience of Pacquiao. He was already popular in the lower division, but he didn't earn the same kind of money until he moved up to the higher division.
Of course, the higher the division the higher the paycheck. But it really depends on his body, on how far he can get his frame. Maybe 130 lbs might be huge for him though. Not sure if he can fight on that weight class, but let's see.

Even though that Manny has laid down the blue print, Pacquiao is very different though, I mean his genetics might have been breed for sports not just boxing. But his frame, his legs and that calves which generates power are one of the key for Manny's success and I doubt that anyone can duplicate it.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 03, 2023, 10:57:51 AM
It must be really devastating for Portland to hear about this from Lillard. His last season performance was also incredible as he had an average of 32 points scored. But all this high effort was for nothing because Portland were still a mess as they couldn't even make it to the playoffs. Lillard still wanted to stay for many years here.
Of course, he is the face of Portland for more than 10 years. He was already in Portland before the Warriors established themselves as a dynasty. So this might be in Dame's mind to see his contemporaries win multiple championships while he did have his best seasons and his prime years with Portland and yet they can't even get to the finals.

However maybe from now on he wants to go to a team that can be more successful in a season. He deserves to be champion before retirement in my opinion. He is soon becoming 33 years old. I hope he can have a good trade for himself to play bigger.
His request is very clear, he wanted to be in Miami. But not sure how Miami can deal with it, or who are they going to trade just to get Lillard with them. Perhaps Kyle Lowry, Hero or Robinson might the players that might likely be in the block.
1029  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk own Casino complaint panel on: July 01, 2023, 01:17:26 AM
I recently read this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5458053.0 about Rollbit disabling the user account without further explanation. By the flow of this case, It's either the user will use 3rd party service to file complaint or the representative of the casino will directly answer all the complain on scam accusation thread. The problem arise when both party claimin they are right while they can't provide documents in public, Most of the time we recommend to move the case on Askgambler to have a mediator for the case.

What if we have our own group of trusted user that can act as mediator to look on the case. We have a lot of talented and respectable user here that capable on handling the situation while most the casino representative has a close contact on campaign manager here.

Do you think this is a good idea to solve cases like this? Take note only case that involved a valid evidence and argument will be considered. A tip is also required in case the complainant is willing to use the forum service.
It might have good intentions, like any other gambling mediation, but it the end it's not going to work.

1. Casino has the final decision and I doubt that they will chance their stance if they have the evidence at end
2. The casino complaint panel will be filled obviously, complains from newbies who suddenly appear in this community
3. You just don't know what the intentions of some individuals to file complain, this is a cutthroat business and anyone can do anything to destroy their competition including filing complaints that has no solid evidence

And there could be more reasons to. And I also don't think that those trusted user groups like DT1 will meddle in such cases. There are also politics in this community already. We don't need another one.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2023, 03:03:19 PM
It's been a few days since I've been analyzing the negotiations/trades that are happening with several NBA teams, especially the last draft.

Wemby is one of the most commented and discussed player nowdays.
I even believe there is a hype.

I clearly remember the Holmgren's injury at the beginning of the last season

Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama are similar players, they are tall, they have good ball handling, they can shoot, they are fast players and they are also skinny and maybe even fragile compared to other NBA players.

Something that worries me is Wemby's body.
Guys, do you believe, Wemby could get injured soon because of his skinny body size?

Nowadays injuries are quite common in the NBA especially during a rookie's season. The question is who will dominant this season and who won't get injuries?
Also there is a significant ongoing debate about who will claim the title of Rookie of the Year (ROTY) considering that Chet Holmgren will also be entering his first NBA season!

I'll pick Chet Holmgren. How about you guys?

Aside from Chet and Wemby, there are others as well that can be the ROTY and that is very possible because their build aren't as fragile as the aforementioned players and they can be agile just like what Banchero did in the last season. But who knows who will claim that title, but if we will choose from Chet or Wemby, I'll be with the latter.
What happen to Chet was really a freak accident, he was still running after that rebound and never thought that it will be a season ending for him during that exhibition match. Unfortunately, what really happens is really unusual for him.

Hopefully Chet is 100% fine and has recovered already. So it will be a great matchup for the ROTY next season as Chet is eligible to be a candidate as he was not able to play last season.

So it's hard to see what will happen to Wemby, but the same case, we can only hope that he can play so that we can appreciate how good this young kid is and not just hype.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: June 30, 2023, 03:45:46 AM
Not used to seeing Chinese being a boxing champ, very surprising that he once upset a fight against an African American with a 93% KO rate. He must be special. He'll gonna have to prove it twice though. Despite Joyce's loss in their first fight, he is still the favorite in this match.

Was intrigued so I watched their first, though slow Zhang can actually counter but I think it's Joyce's eyes that cause his loss. He was hit over and over in that right eye. If he can avoid that in this 2nd fight, he will be the victor.

Yeah, no one saw a 40 year old Chinese HW beat a prime boxer in Joyce.

Zhang battered that eyes and shut it down causing the referee to intervene. To be fair with Zhang, he has a long amateur record and a Olympian. So he has that experience years under his belt. And perhaps Joyce might underestimate and never see how tough and powerful his punches are even at his year and this is supposed to be like tune up fight for Joyce.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 30, 2023, 02:46:45 AM
Saw some sparring clips of Inoue in Twitter, and it seems he looks huge at 122 lbs, or maybe he was in the fighting weight as we still have a month to go. And even Tank Davis is hype as well and he said that he is going to watch the fight.

So there is a big buzz on Inoue, and I do agree that the fight should have been made in the US so they he will still get the needed exposure to the audience. Maybe in his next fight, it could be in US against Tapales (if he wins here).
1033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microstrategy buys again! on: June 29, 2023, 08:14:48 AM
They will no doubt be one of the richest companies in the world if Bitcoin does continue its meteoric rise. There are a lot of advantages to owning Microstrategy over an ETF, and I only with I would have grabbed some when it was at the lows. The future could be quite bright for them.
Relying on one class of assets will not lead to a healthy growth in the company's investments. Whoever invests $4.52 billion will inevitably sell, but the question is how long can they hold out without selling, and will they wait until the value of Bitcoin is very far away.
The average purchase price is $30,000, and for the price to reach $300,000, we may need more than 10 years.

I suggest that we start by asking what will happen to Bitcoin if they decide to sell or if they have a problem.
It's obvious that they will have at some point sell some of their stash to make a profit, that's inevitable, even average joe will do that in a heart beat. But since they have deep pockets, I doubt that they will see it right away or at least in the next bull run. They are going to hold as long as they can before selling it.

Of course the market will have to be affected when news comes out that they are going to sell.

Just like when Tesla sells before, the price goes down, but just like anything else, bitcoin is so resilient that it can stomach this kind of huge sells and the market go back to normal in the next couple of days or weeks.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market? on: June 29, 2023, 06:16:49 AM
How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market?
Conservative estimates put bitcoin in 6 digits, $100k at least in the next bull run.

And then there are speculators putting it around $150k-$180k tops, and others super bullish about it, $200k++. So there's a lot of speculations around and we really don't know what the price will be and what's the next all time high.

The best thing to do though is to prepare your self, buy as much bitcoin as you can.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 29, 2023, 02:58:36 AM

If we are talking about upset yes it does happen, but if you compare it to Lopez vs Taylor, it's very different. As Taylor admitted after fight that he has issues making the 140 lbs. So in this fight the upset was because of the weight as his body can't take that and so his performance are affected.
That was just an excuse in my opinion. Although he was the favorite to win, it's very clear how Lopez dominated him. Lopez was the stronger fighter in that match. Instead of making excuses, he should accept his losses and consider moving up if he struggles with his weight. He should also give credit to Lopez for performing well.

Nonito is different, though. He doesn't make excuses and continues to fight despite having lost many fights already.
That's how boxers is, if they lost they have to find loopholes in them and say excuses. But I guess that was normal though, even if real life we also find excuses if we don't succeed. The best thing to do is comeback a better fighter if Taylor wanted to move to 147 lbs.

For this fight, we have been discussing Donaire's age as a factor or non-factor.

Some of us see this as a major issue for Donaire now, as seen how brutal he as knockout by Inoue and it might hard for him to make a comeback. But there are majority who says that age is not a concern for Donaire, as he can still have the power and he has the experience in this fight. For me, I'm leaning towards the latter, I still see Donaire winning here.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 29, 2023, 02:01:25 AM
There were news that Deontay Wilder has set the contract to the camp of Andy Ruiz Jr.

And Andy seems to have responded already based on that and said that yes, there is negotiations going on and he is coming after the Bronze Bomber. So let's see, hopefully the earlier the better for this to happen.

Because there is also news floating around that AJ vs Wilder in December. And Francis Ngannou said that he also have a fight with Wilder after December.

https://twitter.com/calfkickercom/status/1669903199199690753

I heard conflicting news. Eddie Hearn confirmed in one of his interviews that Deontay Wilder will fight Anthony Joshua on December.

Also, it would be a mistake if Francis Ngannou fought Wilder, I reckon. Ngannou's team should negotiate for a fight vs. Tyson Fury.  It will be the biggest money he can get while the hype is still alive. If Ngannou fights Wilder for a smaller amount and loses, this will kill the hype and all interest for Fury vs. Ngannou will die.

In any case, there is also some rumors that Ryan Garcia will fight Rolly Romero in September if the contracts are signed this month.
The fight between Wilder and Andy Ruiz might be in jeopardy as the camp of Ruiz didn't accept the proposed fight, specially his father is fuming over the contract. They wanted a 50/50 split of the purse, but the camp of Wilder just gave them 30% which for them is not fair since Wilder is no longer a champion and then fought cherry picking Helenius.

While Ruiz put a great display against King Kong Ortiz. So let's see, if this fight not happening then maybe Wilder vs Joshua can happen this December.

I'm for Wilder if Wilder vs Joshua will eventually be set. So much news coming out but non of them are confirmed really, everything depends on the cut they gonna get.
I guess when the money is right, then we will see Wilder vs Joshua and Ruiz being step aside.

For Ngannou he would fight as much as possible in boxing since one fight on it, is more than enough of a year in UFC. It's his team that wants to arrange money negotiation though so there will still be talks. But I can see he will fight each Wilder and Fury in the future.
Yes, gonna be a big pay day for Francis if ever he faces anyone of those great boxers or even both of them. And it will be a test of power as well, specially that Francis has so much power that he displayed in UFC. That's why the fight is going to be very intriguing as it will be in boxing and those heavy punchers are going to test if Francis has what it takes to be in boxing.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2023, 01:34:42 AM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.

I guess right now we can't really say what will be the adjustments that Steve Kerr is going to put here. Yes, Chris Paul is prone to injury, but I think it might be effective if Curry will not bring the ball and put it to Paul as their main point guard.

They will still be good with Looney and they they will play small, which has been the trend for now in the NBA. Although it was proven by the Nuggets that you still need big men, like Jokic to bring championship. Nevertheless, I doubt that the Warriors are going to get another big men to help Looney.

I was seeing the pictures on Twitter of people showing the Warriors’ starting five next year. I was surprised to see that the expectation is for both Chris Paul and Stephen Curry to start. I’m not sure that’ll be what happens. They’re both pretty weak defensive guards. I can’t imagine they’d both be playing lots of minutes together. Seems like a liability.
Maybe they can offset it in their offense, for me, Steph is a underrated defensive guard, remember when he has to guard Ja Morant in their series a couple of years ago and was able to do that and even block his shots going to his left?

Perhaps it will be on the side of CP3 on how to play defense, but he might cover it thru his defense and his passing as he usually does. So if ever there is a liability on their starting five, it might just be CP3.
1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price, Where Next on: June 28, 2023, 08:37:55 AM
Since the price of Bitcoin has increased from $25,000 to $30,000 in this month of June, show that the bearish season will still occur before the end of December so that investors can use that opportunity to buy and hold for massive pumping that will going to happen in 2024. It will be difficult for long term investors and short term investors to experience what happened 2022 that made the price of Bitcoin remain low through out the year, which many potential potential used the period to invested huge amount of money on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I believe, the price of Bitcoin will decrease back to $20,000 before the price will finally hit $40,000 this year for those that wish to sell will use the season to sell and make profits.
Hopefully this might not be the case. I know that we look for patterns, specially from the past historical logs. But it doesn't mean that it will be the same year after year. There could be deviations just like what we are seeing in todays price movement as no one expect that we would have a break out run to $30k and it here we are after the Binance vs SEC drama.

So I doubt that we will revert back to $20k, at least we have seen the lowest low in this bear market. Everyone is now waiting for the block halving happening in less than a year so everyone is accumulation this season as this could be the final stage of this phase as in this next 6 months the price might grow steady.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 28, 2023, 04:59:27 AM
One disadvantage though for Inoue is that this is a new weight class for him, and he didn't take a tune up fight, but instead he directly goes to the champion in Stephen Fulton. Yes we have seen how destructive he is in the bantamweight, but as the saying goes, maybe he swallow more than he can chew here in facing a American boxer in Fulton.
Though it could be considered a disadvantage, I see it only as a slight one. Inoue is already a destructive fighter, and he may not need to add a significant amount of weight for this new weight class. However, let's see if he can truly live up to the expectations of many, considering that Inoue is currently in his prime.

I wouldn't say that Donaire is lucky to have a rematch with Inoue, Nonito has the WBC belt that time and Inoue wanted to unify. So Donaire earn that rematch, it's not that he has been given that because of his stature. On the contrary, if you think about who is lucky, it is Inoue here because he bypass everyone in the rankings to face the champion as he move up in weight.
Or perhaps he was fortunate because he knew he could defeat Donaire, making it another easy path to claim a belt.
Yeah, I do agree, but we will have to see how he will do, we've seen great boxers moving up in weight and becoming so accustomed with the new weight like Manny Pacquiao.

He has no choice though but to get to Donaire. Same with Donaire, he was tearing the division and fighting young boxers and getting the belt. But in the end they have crossed path and as that Donaire was at a disadvantage because he lost his belt again. Nevertheless, he will have another chance to win it because he will be fighting for the belt, while Inoue will do it but in different weight class as he will challenge Fulton for his 2 belt.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2023, 03:59:23 AM
[.....]
Yeah, Jimmy Butler is not the ball hog type of player, actually during the Finals I can see him trying to avoid the ball to his hands. I don't know why but that seems questionable for a star player who can really score perimeter shots. Maybe, his confidence was really smashed when the Finals came.
I don't know about that. I listened to some of his interviews and he usually say something about trusting his teammates. I think that's what Pat Riley always tell him.
And that's why Damian Lillard would best suit in Miami Heat. They are a team who rotates the ball, maybe it's time for Dame Time to learn that too. But from West to East, I hope that will not be difficult for him.

According to news though, it seems like the Trail Blazers will not let him go.
Damian Lillard trade rumors: Trail Blazers 'remain committed to building a winner' around star guard, GM says
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/damian-lillard-trade-rumors-trail-blazers-remain-committed-to-building-a-winner-around-star-guard-gm-says/
Quote
The Portland Trail Blazers "remain committed to build a winner" around Damian Lillard, general manager Joe Cronin said in a statement Monday.
Shaedon Sharpe, Anfernee Simons, Scoot Henderson, Jerami Grant, and Damian Lillard, are definitely a good small ball lineup with an advantage in speed. They can go big by switching Scoot for Nurkic. In case they are having trouble against a big star player, they can use Matisse Thybulle I say it's not that bad. If Dame wants more then I think he is trying to build an All-Star caliber but their roster is already decent. They just have a lot of work to do in their chemistry.

I heard the Miami Heat is patiently waiting for Dame to come but I really doubt this could happen. I think Dame is just pushing the Blazers management to increase the firepower of their roster.
I don't think that the roster has enough firepower in the West though. But I'm excited as how Scoot will be for Portland this upcoming season. He could be a big help for Nurkic. But then again the West is pretty much stack up so hard to see how those lineup are going to contest teams like Memphis or GSW.

And I do think that Dame really wanted a All star caliber team mate to help him out. Or even build a big 3 for that matter and I don't see that on him, Grant or any of the other guys in the lineup, decent but not good in my opinion.
