1081  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io phishing? on: April 24, 2018, 07:04:39 PM
They claim that World League is sponsored by sportsbet, but it is the same.
Haha these shit-holes can go heights to scam people.I wonder when these bubble headed twats will realise how big this scam really is.

@OP,the said member's password was reset recently so I believe they're hacked and the culprit might be the one sending those fake links or whatever we are not able to view at the moment. That spam is mostly deleted by the mods.

1083  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need DT, ICO Bumping + Multi-accounts on: April 24, 2018, 06:59:14 PM
Nobody cares? It is not against the rules?

Everybody could see that these account are connected and abuse the system.
It is definitely against the rules and you should be making it easier for the DT/Mods to take care of such accounts by reporting them at a place where a mod is more active.Post them here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2645450.msg26946665#msg26946665  and I shall update the list for mprep to ban/temp-ban them.
1084  Economy / Reputation / Re: Coin-Secure Exchange Hack - Tracking & Discussions on: April 24, 2018, 06:53:07 PM
It really looks like an inside job.

"Dr. Amitabh Saxena" should have the ability to split coins safely, I managed to do it myself without incident.

Disappointed Shareholder
Considering he is a "Scientist" & a "Crypto-Expert" it should have been a child's play for him.But no,he had to come up with better excuses to steal the money.Less should we care.Anyway,do you hold the company shares or have any stakes at the company ? I don't know how should I interpret the term shareholder as.Did you lose bitcoins too ?
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]🚀StasyQ - brings crypto revolution to the adult industry on: April 19, 2018, 05:23:35 AM
Hi Bounty Hunters,
As per the admins, the ICO unfortunately has been paused with the following message
Quote
ICO IS PAUSED! :zap:

Dear StasyQ Supporters!

We have some important news for you.

First of all, our team would like to thank you for the interest you’ve shown in StasyQ ICO and for being with us. We would especially like to thank all of the people who made contributions and participated in our bounty and referral programs.

However, we regret to inform you that, due to an unfavorable ICO market situation, we have to discontinue StasyQ ICO and refund all of the contributions.

We are really passionate about what we do, and we want StasyQ to be a real game-changing project in the adult industry, but we understand that with the current market the way it is, there is no chance of closing the hard-cap and collecting enough funds to create a platform the way we, and our community want StasyQ to be. It was hard for us to make this decision, but it was necessary in the interest of all current, and future contributors, and supporters.

Important things to know:

- The ICO itself will not be discontinued, but we are going to pause it until the market recovers

- All contributions will be returned to the ETH addresses from which they were received

- We do not require our contributors to return tokens — you should keep them and wait for ICO re-launch

- All bounty stakes will be retained and taken into account after ICO re-launch, the same applies to airdrop tokens

- Despite the fact that we froze the ICO, we have not stopped the StasyQ ecosystem development process, so stay tuned for updates!

Refunds:

This will be the last week for the bounty before final sheets will be locked and updated.Bounty sheets will be opened again once the ICO is resumed. As long as your stakes are concerned, they will be updated and taken care of as the bounty starts again.

Please don't forget to submit all your twitter/facebook/blogs/videos by the end of this week to have them updated in the final stakes.

these are all my relatives, I can provide you with all the documents, we live practically together, and together we choose a campaign. And what's wrong with that? We 7 people lived on this and you now spoiled everything.
That's one hell of a family I suppose. No disrespect, but do you call yourselves "The Bounty Hunter Pack"? I can totally imagine you guys sitting together in a room and posting like this

Too bad forum doesn't like to involve in family matters and hence keep they away.Negative trust well deserved.

@coinlocket$ : Not fair, you're going to be taking all of my merits  Grin

Sir (Yahoo),
Fact : You know you're not coming out of that list if your post starts with 'Sir','Dear Sir','Madam','Admin Sir','Campaign Sir'  or any other similar type of nouns used to address members.I understand you  want to come off as being 'respectful' but whenever those terms applied in the forum it rather makes you sound desperate.

The whole forum is a deep ocean full with features.
Wouldn't take more than two hours for someone with an average IQ of 80 to discover all of them.Unfortunately,we have special talents around the forum.

I am saving it for the future  Cheesy
By the way I really missed that corner all those days.
It's totally fine man,it wasn't directed towards you.I was just addressing the type of queries we get around here. For instance,'How do I upload image' is the query which gets asked every other week when there are like 100 of threads explaining how to do the same.Worst case, people are dumb enough to use google.

1091  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Major indian exchange gets hacked, 438 bitcoins stolen COINSECURE on: April 17, 2018, 07:44:45 AM
All users who have their BTC with coinsecure should write to coinsecure that they want their BTC balance refunded fully in BTC not in INR.
Totally agree with you there ! If it was some random Syrian/Russian hacker who would have emptied all the funds from an exchange, the case would have been different. But this is an internal team fuck-up/inside job which should be taken care by the team members. From what I know, the have way more in profits/Funding from the total bitcoins lost so I don't see any issues with giving customers what they originally own.

Only 438 BTC taken in this attack, eh? We've seen worse.
What's your point ? Are you implying some more BTC should have taken so it could match the previous records for your satisfaction ?
1092  Other / Meta / Re: Indian Sub New Moderator ? [Recommendations Welcome] on: April 16, 2018, 03:03:25 PM
This. He claims to have brought up this context before as well. Dont get me wrong but it seems to me now that Joel is actually trying to promote their own name for the new mod taking advantage of the situation of the Coinsecure and Benson being AWOL (??)Not that I would have any objection to it. (I dont know about others though)
How am I taking advantage of the situation ?  FYI,theymos removed Benson explicitly stating,
Note that I removed Benson Samuel as moderator, but only because I view the situation as potentially too much of a conflict of interest. I have no reason to doubt Benson Samuel's character.
which I totally agree with. Here is my post (a year back) where you could see me whining about no strict moderation in the Indian Sub : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1940691.msg19271392#msg19271392

But nice of you to put it in the Disclaimer.
Because I knew there could be cases of an ad hominem attack.

Hey Bob,any updates on the last week's payment ?
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: No P2SH Block explorers ? on: April 16, 2018, 01:26:09 PM
Were you the one that sent the transaction? From what I can tell, the block explorer didn't make any mistake. The address you're seeing is a bech32 address (bc1 prefix) and it is a standard for native segwit address and it's perfectly valid. The only reason why you can't parse the address on various block explorers is because they don't support it yet. Blockchair.com does support bech32 address.
No No..That address is from among the one I'm tracking here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3330578.msg34812017#msg34812017 Thank you for suggesting Blockchair.com ,they do support the given address.

To my knowledge, no block explorer actually displays the public keys involved. They can be derived from the redeem script.
Thanks.I'll figure that out! Smiley
1095  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinsecure Not Secure? on: April 16, 2018, 01:21:42 PM
Coinsecure recently had their offline Bitcoin wallets hacked. The hackers have siphoned off with an astounding 438 BTC (worth more than 3 million USD). The news came in just a few days after RBI announced a virtual ban on cryptocurrencies in India.
You know,80% of the traders on such exchanges are dumb as fuck and have no idea how bitcoin works or what a wallet is.Not to mention but I was added to a telegram group with more than 2000 Indian traders who trade often on platforms like Coinsecure and Zebpay. They were surprised when I asked did you guys updated your core wallets. Most of them had no idea what a bitcoin wallet is and their only source of storing bitcoins was an exchange wallet.I clearly saw this coming.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / No P2SH Block explorers ? on: April 16, 2018, 01:11:39 PM
Can anyone point me in the right direction to check all the addresses involved in a Multi-Sig transaction ?

Taking this transaction as an example : https://blockchain.info/tx/136a5f70d66d181c767d919abd7bf0a1bdeb9a17df6f94281edd1f8258801ba7
According to blockchain.info, the coins were sent to this address
Code:
bc1q3vy5nkjvvejhvu84g6v4zh400p2plm8x36g9t0
obviously it's incorrect.
Blockexplorer.com is unable to parse the address which throws an exception of [Unparsed Address[0]] https://blockexplorer.com/address/3D1qHGrvn7HCDyLJqHzNLpBWhaCsPcm8mx

Are there any block explorers which shows all the public addresses involved in a multi-sig transaction ?
1097  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitIlluminati SCAM ICO on: April 16, 2018, 12:58:36 PM
Good Find.Obvious scam.
The copied one has nicely edited all the details from the original website which contained detailed information about the team/contact.Did you tried reporting them to the original website owners ? You should. Moreover, hiding the domain details raises another red flag that their ICO is a scam.
1098  Other / Meta / Re: Indian Sub New Moderator ? [Recommendations Welcome] on: April 16, 2018, 11:52:25 AM
If I can't recommend my own name then I'd recommend
Amitabh S

Last Active : November 12, 2017, 07:24:57 PM
Crime : Stole 438 Bitcoins from an Indian exchange being the CSO of the company. No offence but are you not aware of the on-going drama with the coinsecure's hack ? Amitabh Saxena is the prime suspect as per Benson/Mohit and everybody else in the team.Plus I would want someone to be a moderator who is not just about degrees and knowledge but also dedicates time to handle reports on bitcointalk.

Being the moderator means someone who's the defacto leader of that community, Benson is perfect for that role because he listens, he's been busy and slightly less active here but set that aside I don't think someone can actually replace him. But a second moderator to assist him? THAT surely can happen.
Not necessarily.Being a moderator should only mean someone who is an active reporter,an established member of the community  and of course takes efforts to keep the forum clean.Same person being the defacto leader of the community is just an advantage.Muhammed Zakir can replace Benson any given day! Too bad he isn't active anymore.
1099  Economy / Reputation / Re: Coin-Secure Exchange Hack - Tracking & Discussions on: April 16, 2018, 11:36:51 AM
Sure, that certainly seems insightful.Cross Quoting it here as well
Dr. Amitabh Saxena was appointed as Coinsecure CSO in Sept, 2017.

Dr. Amitabh Saxena has immense experience including a stint as a professor of Computer Science in Australia for several years. He has also worked with giants such as Hewlett Packard and Accenture.

https://www.cryptoninjas.net/2017/09/24/dr-amitabh-saxena-appointed-c-s-o-bitcoin-exchange-coinsecure/.

How is it possible that such experienced person can make mistake like this while dealing with 438.31BTC which is worth about $3.8million?

9th April, 2018 - Coinsecure update on webpage says 438.31859715 BTC siphoned out to BTC Address 1BaEJquitskdXcTj53Uy6PuUtJ5a8ETWpA between 12:35 AM IST - 06:29 AM IST.
In fact 438.31859715 BTC was moved to above mentioned address between 2018-04-08 19:05:07 - 2018-04-09 00:40:50, please verify here https://blockchain.info/address/1BaEJquitskdXcTj53Uy6PuUtJ5a8ETWpA .

Some of Coinsecure's lost BTC funds are currently in addresses below.

1BaEJquitskdXcTj53Uy6PuUtJ5a8ETWpA  139.42094629 BTC

1EL6w4XM7MVXJocdKbUprQszDkV87EQHeZ    9.44412409 BTC

3QmzSdCoPNQqpFmyyDFpMqWiTdLFrvLXfx    1.10477778 BTC

38GGuZBJD23uav4o2Urzqo3ZNkKUjr5xx3   12.49789000 BTC

19984XPvZux8bEdW4SBPmknevWZauamCnG   65.17902000 BTC

38RKQE1Mx9cmhB5j1xbMhmJLudANouWD5C    6.62085686 BTC

Coinsecure update-2 Friday, 13.04.2018 stating BTC funds siphoned, complaint reported to cyber cell Delhi and they are working with invetigation authorities.

No BTC funds are transfered out of address 1BaEJquitskdXcTj53Uy6PuUtJ5a8ETWpA after 2018-04-13 08:46:22.

Why Coinsecure don't updates more details about exactly what happened?
Was this happened before insertion of private key or after insertion?
What wallet was used for BTG fork coins?

1.Inside Job ? I'm surprised Benson Samuel didn't care to give an update on bitcointalk yet.Makes it seem like he took the moderator status for granted.
2.There's a lot more to it.
   - Which wallet was used to store or fork the coins from ?
   - How was the server accessed ?
   - How many members from among the team had access to these wallets ?
   - How did the keys get compromised ?
1100  Other / Meta / Re: Indian Sub New Moderator ? [Recommendations Welcome] on: April 16, 2018, 11:16:52 AM
@joel_jantsen, I would say let the dust settle a bit and let theymos decide how to proceed based on the hack investigations.
I doubt it is not just a hack but Indian forum lacks strong moderation in general.I had brought up the issue a few months back as well (unfortunately I couldn't find the thread)

If theymos is actually looking for a moderator for the Indian Sub-board, then I would like to apply for the same.
I am an Indian and I browse through the Indian board now-and-then and report spammy posts as soon as I encounter one.
The fact that you are appointing yourself doesn't seem very reliable.Don't get me wrong but you should have the other moderators/established members feel the same about you.And by established members I don't mean the accounts you suck up to. (not directed towards you but there are cases where established members will only promote accounts they're "good friends" with and not someone actually deserving )
