1181  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newbie promoting Ponzi scheme on: September 04, 2023, 09:35:38 PM
They actually did mentioned an incorporation, on their about page, registered under #07568979, Crypto Mining Service, Ltd., registered on 17 March 2011. But I am somewhat sure that name and license was borrowed without the real company's knowledge, and that the company itself has never declared their official website, at least according to this database

It just goes to show how these scammers operate when they cannot remember to add a real/fake company name to their own ToS on their website. I think the name is being used by scammers without the consent of the actual real company. The website is showing 503 gateway error now therefore it seems the site has been removed but your archive links reveals the About Page shows them claiming to be "CRYPTO MINING SERVICES LIMITED" but the attached images are for "MINING COMPANY SERVICE LTD".

While these scammy websites think that Certificate of Incorporation will make them look more legit (and they actually do appear to a newbie that doesn't know how these things work), in reality they mean aboslutely nothing, as I explained few years ago.

Its astonishing how easy and cheap is to register your fake company there, and even more how many newbies think that its a sign of legitimacy.
I have seen something like that in the past when scammers an image of the Certificate of Incorporation but (as you stated) it means nothing. These can be gained by registration online in a matter of minutes but to gullible people and newbies they could easily fall for the scam.

1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: September 04, 2023, 09:17:59 PM
Yes, I think he should have accepted the VAR decision about the Garnacho goal being off-side but at the stage the score was still 1-1. The shot from Rice was deflected off Evans who was making his return to Manchester United and he was a late substitute therefore it must be hard for him to take. Arsenal look like they are beginning to find their rhythm again whereas Manchester United are not converting their chances.

V.A.R decisions are affecting the mental of players seriously. If Manchester United didn't score that goal they were going to leave the field with at least a draw. After Garnacho's goal was disallowed I think Arsenal players became seriously motivated. I found Erik ten Hag's statement a little nonsensical that he said that the position wasn't offside.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 04, 2023, 01:58:12 PM
The poll has 38 votes and the statistics are quite stunning:

Tyson         - 21 (55.3%)
Ngannou    - 17 (44.7%)

I am surprised at the number of members that have rated Ngannou to have a chance to cause an upset when he will be facing Tyson Fury in the ring. He might get some success within the fight here and there but it will be a big task for him to win.
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc addess problem big problem cant recive on: September 04, 2023, 01:47:50 PM
I am sure that knowledge has already dawned upon the OP therefore he knew what he was doing when he created this thread. Now, if anybody does make the mistake of sending him anything they will encourage more scam behaviour.

His alt-account btcpepa04 tried a different technique to get free Bitcoin in 2017 Grin

It’s not blocked or blacklisted but it has no bitcoin or even satoshi left which is why you can’t send any bitcoin

1185  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable merits in the Wall Observer thread on: September 04, 2023, 01:36:51 PM
Is this suggestion going to gain any traction or will it be dismissed entirely? If not limiting the number to "1" but limiting to a number that is accepted by consensus, is it an option? Another option is to cap the number of merits a member is allowed to give in a/that particular board.

If all those (and other) options are not feasible then there is another option: to do nothing and allow the status quo to continue in the Wall Observer thread.

How about every post within WO being capped at a max of 1 per sMerit giver?  Smiley
1186  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 04, 2023, 01:29:12 PM
Sometimes, it is possible for the most cautious person receiving the email to lower their guard and click the phishing mail. It is unfortunate but people do get drawn in to scams for one reason or another. If these types of scams were not profitable for the scammers they would probably stop and move on to other ways trying to scam.

I barely click anything that goes to my email anymore. If I can verify the email address that it's sent from, I may open it, but unless I am expecting an email, I usually just let them be.

It's crazy how many people would still be fooled by the type of email you are posting about though.
1187  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is Stunna dead ??? Primedice n Stake spoke person. on: September 04, 2023, 01:25:34 PM
The OP is clearly very upset but unfortunately for him he seems he is venting frustration in the wrong place. From what has been stated in the thread it seems he is in denial because he lost funds and now is looking at shifting the blame on to Stake. If Stake were manipulating outcomes or altering historical data, it would have been picked up by now.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: September 04, 2023, 01:12:25 PM
Chelsea will have to come good at some point. There is far too much talent in that squad for them to not recover and let us not forget they are managed by Pochettino. His management skills will be enough to bring stability but he will need time.

Newcastle United have the chance to increase goal difference in their next game. West Ham United vs Manchester City, that will be the big game of the weekend.

Here is the Premier League table as it currently stands:

1189  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newbie promoting Ponzi scheme on: September 04, 2023, 12:55:44 PM
This has scam written all over it. If newbies and/or gullible people send money to the scammers, they will never see the money returned.

They do not mention any company LTD/LLC or anything else in their Terms and Conditions. Also, their website does not seem to have real social media links in their contact page either. They are showing a map on their contact page for a registered office address which can he rented but that name (CGMD Miner) is not registered at the company address.

There are far too many issues pointing to this being a scam therefore the flag is supported.

In all honesty it is seems clear to anybody reading it is a case of sarcasm rather than it being a compliment. Right now, how many members do you have registered on your club and how do you expect them to learn more about the elite club. They cannot contact you because you are not making it possible, it is almost as though that is your intention.

So you have no website, nol office there is a telegram group coming soon and now you want people to give you 77$. Impressive idea!
Thanks If you think it's impressive Smiley

Does anybody have any contact with DarkStar_ outside of this forum? He has made no posts since 13th April 2023 and his last login was on 20th August 2023.

1.30807482[1] bitcoins were withdrawn from chipmixer signature campaign funds. This was done on 2023-08-19.
Does anyone know if @DarkStar_ did this?

So you have no website, no office there is a telegram group coming soon and now you want people to give you 77$. Impressive idea!
That is effectively what he is stating. They have literally nothing but are seeking $77 to join a Telegram group which will give the group members benefits they have not yet explained.

If you join with the Club you are backed up by our team and by other MEMBERS.
If you Are the Member of Club you get your Membership number each Member will reconize each by the number.
You need to follow the rules you must help other members If you can and you have means to offer to them Job or housing.

The general idea is to create the Club where you get help you never gona be alone with your problems.

Payment, we accept crypto and USDT but only TRC20.
Contract set up fee is 77$ and monthly Fee 77$. So 77+77= 154$ joining Fee. Disscount for those who pay for: 6 months Fee 300$ one year Membership Fee 777$
You can earn money by invite others in you get 25% from new members instantly If they pay joining Fee 77$+77$ monthly Fee.
Therefore this is akin to a ponzi or pyramid scheme and all of this simply for a you never gona be alone with your problems club? Who will fall for this money wasting exercise. There is no website, no advertising and no email address therefore you are using Telegram to fool people in to parting with $77?
1194  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: September 03, 2023, 06:14:33 PM
That would then raise the question (and conspiracy theories) about what happened to the owner/operator of Whirlwind if he was that upright.
I'm curious if Hhampuz tried emailing his contact again:
I got an email back from whirlwind just now and it was as I suspected - something happened.

Basically, main people lost access due to travels while people still with access didn't have the right credentials to solve basic issues that caused withdraws to get stuck on the back-end. I've been assured that nothing has been lost and that all will be taken care of tomorrow meaning all currently pending withdraws will be processed and things return back to normal. It was an unfortunate situation is all!

I've asked my contact at whirlwind to reply in this thread whenever they can with further details, so from now until then/tomorrow night there is no need to panic even if I wouldn't recommend you to deposit until the backlog is cleared. Campaign participants will also be paid out as per usual tomorrow, regardless of if you've removed your signature or not.
If his contact is not the same person as "main people", it wouldn't make sense for "something" to have happened to all of them at the same time.
I suppose Hhampuz would be the only person to answer the question. Maybe he will post the answer. The problem we face is we just do not know what the facts behind the case are.

Maybe he had all the SSH keys and passwords on him and when he (allegedly) was formally indicted for running tornado cash (??) then everything started to fall apart from that point.

Of course, I do not know whether the whirlwind guy was also the tornado cash guy, but it can't be ruled out yet.
The similarities between the Tornado Cash and Whirlwind websites was shown in an image some pages back therefore the connection cannot be ruled out but there is no evidence to connect them either. This is all very baffling.
1195  Economy / Reputation / Re: hashrateproducts is a bought or hacked account. on: September 03, 2023, 05:31:20 PM
You have a host of very serious allegations made against you yet you have made just this one token post to claim innocence. Since you replied here you've made 12 posts including 4 today and all of them in football threads therefore it can be concluded you intended to meet your signature campaign requirement rather than put up a defence when your account was being called in to question.

There is a huge amount of evidence posted to link you with evading a ban and also for cheating in bounty campaigns. Instead of defending your account by putting forward an alternative version of events you have effectively accepted this is your last week to receive signature campaign payments from the Lordhermes account therefore you posted in football threads instead of challenging any information that was presented.
Exactly! Instead, he's still posting on the forum to meet his signature quota, acting like nothing's changed. It's like he doesn't even realize the manager has already given him the boot from the campaign.  Wink
I have just had a look at the campaign sheets, he definitely has been removed yet he is still posting (his last post was yesterday) and he was wearing the Rollbit signature. Even at that stage account farmers have hope that if they keep posting a couple of times a week they keep the account active and it might have value in future.

That leads me to the following question: How many accounts do you actually operate? Did you create this Lordhermes account or was it purchased from the original creator to use within the account farm?
I saw this in that scam accusation thread:

~snip~

It appears that he's been doing this for years, and some of the accounts date back as far as 2011, but they're likely purchased or hacked accounts. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more accounts that haven't been discovered yet. Undoubtedly, some members have made this forum their full time job.
He did not post here once using the Lordhermes account after the account was accused of being part of massive farm. If some accounts go back to over a decade it would mean the account farmer has operated these accounts for a long time. If he has not created them, he has hacked or purchased them.

That would then raise the question (and conspiracy theories) about what happened to the owner/operator of Whirlwind if he was that upright. He was knowledgable and that was noticed from the manner in which he was posting. The whole episode is confusing.

The fact that there are over 17 thousand DAI, still available to cover the damages of any whirlwind user, pinpoints how upright mixer that was.

Even ChipMixer didn't do that, and I'm pretty confident that they've had the financial capacity to manage it.

Does this club have a name and website URL?

It's new idea there is no members.
But it's starting time now and world are in chaos it's best time to join now we live in times when you might need to relocate yourself then it's good If you have connections all over the world.

Yes it is exclusive club.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: September 02, 2023, 12:23:17 PM
The same with Brentford but with easier opposition vs lowly Bournemouth.

Brighton vs Newcastle should be a fun one after both suffered frustrating results.  Smiley

And Liverpool is gonna Liverpool after their performance vs Newcastle.
Brentford should beat Bournemouth and Liverpool should beat Aston Villa. I think Brighton could end up defeating Newcastle United because they are playing excellent in possession even though they had a loss in their previous game.

These are the games taking place today Saturday 2nd September 2023:

Sheffield United vs Everton
Brentford vs Bournemouth
Burnley vs Tottenham Hotspur
Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest
Manchester City vs Fulham
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Newcastle United

Sheffield United and Everton had the early kick-off therefore it is half-time in that game and currently 1-1. Brighton and Newcastle United play in the late kick-off game. With West Ham winning away at Luton Town yesterday, they proudly sit at the top of the Premier League table but Manchester City and Tottenham can push them to 2nd or 3rd if they win their games today.

Result from the game played yesterday: Luton Town 1-2 West Ham United
1199  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable merits in the Wall Observer thread on: September 02, 2023, 12:14:28 PM
Limiting to 1 sMerit is an option and removing merits completely is another. Ideally, there has to be some way of controlling spam at root level from the contributors perspective where they do not feel the urge to spam rather than spam being reported.

Merits it seems is something that is in massive demand as account farmers try to get their alt-accounts enrolled in the highest paying signature campaigns. They will find ways to spam, beg and concoct stories whilst trying to have posts merited. It really is up to those giving merits to be more responsible as their behaviour determines what action merit seekers take next.

How about every post within WO being capped at a max of 1 per sMerit giver?  Smiley
1200  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable merits in the Wall Observer thread on: August 30, 2023, 04:27:44 PM
Exactly. Those who have to be aware of which posts should receive merits are the merits giver. He is the one who must assess the situation and understand what kind of user he is dealing with.

It would be completely unfair to block an area of the forum from merits, harming users who make a clear effort to write good content for the community.
I already commented on this in another topic, but even in the "Gambling discussion" area, there are topics that deserve merit. Despite noting that few merits are distributed in this area. This is a good example that the solution does not involve depriving an area of the forum of merits.

When there is a lot of spam in an area of the forum, what we should do is report it and ask the moderators to delete it. It shouldn't be asking to end merits.
I think that is the point mentioned by nutildah. The criteria should not be merit givers giving merits for any reason other than the receiver deserving it. The definition of what posts deserve merits should not even be discussed because it will vary immensely from member to member. There is simply far too much reasoning and rationale (as well as politics, cliques, revenge, grudges etc) involved per individual member thought processes to ever find anything close to consensus therefore it should not be discussed here.

Keeping that aside, disabling merits in one thread could start an avalanche of requests for other threads but there is a problem and it has not been tackled. I am glad the OP started the thread to invite discussion.

When there is a lot of spam in an area of the forum, what we should do is report it and ask the moderators to delete it. It shouldn't be asking to end merits.
aside from infofronts light touch, WO is a more or less a moderator free zone per theymos
There we have the answer to reporting low-quality posts and spamming in the Wall Observer thread. Moderators are not going to take action therefore what could be a solution that is acceptable to those concerned about the level of spamming and merit begging without those that are giving the merits feeling they are being censored?
