1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: April 24, 2023, 11:08:00 AM
Don't forget that gambling is the first used case of bitcoin if I'm not mistaken, yes Laszlo Hanyecz maybe the first one who introduces BTC as a mode of payment. But when the advent of bitcoin and it's used in gambling, it become a worldwide used and even challenge traditional online fiat based that time. Now we have a lot of casino's competing for that niche market, billions or dollars flowing every year. So yeah, it's proven already that there is a big relationship between gambling and bitcoin and any other crypto as well. It used to be bitcoin in the beginning, but when there are options for other crypto because of their fast deposit and withdrawals, it was also adopted by many casinos now.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 24, 2023, 10:27:22 AM

One lose cannot break out his achievement also he's so young there's so many room for improvement so provably he will bounce back for this big defeat he encounter in the hands of Davis. That big lose is a huge wake up call for him that he need to improve more so that he can maintain his superstar status and also to defeat more big names in industry.

I agree Davis is too good for him, he was calling out for Gervonta all these years, while Davis is getting better he was opting not to do a tune-up fight he is in a hurry to fight Davis, Tank is still a superstar he just needs tough opponents he has been cherry picking opponents, only Campbell has a good record in his resume.

His next fight should not be cherry-picked, maybe he and Rolly Romero will be a good match even though I read they are friends, it could be a good comeback fight Pitbull Cruz is also a good challenge for Ryan, I just don't want Ryan do cherry picked fight.

Or maybe he should go up in weight at 140 lbs, I thought that he won't be looking drain at 135 lbs, but for me it seems to be case. But I do agree that there's nothing to be ashamed of losing to Tank, he acknowledge his lost already so maybe he will have to move on.

Ryan looks drained, Davis just tricked him into agreeing on the rehydration clause, lol.  We have seen a not 100% conditioned Ryan Garcia in this fight.  But still I do not think that the fight ending would change but we shouldn't have seen that 7th round KO via shot on the liver.  It was the same case when Manny Pacquiao[1] losses his title on the Thailander challenger when he wasn't able to make the weight and drained himself further but still didn't met the requirement and as the result he was KO'ed via body shot.

[1] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHj2P04ElEo

I very much agree! King Ry's punches were not very impactful when he hit Tank Davis and also that body punch would not have a big effect if Ryan was allowed to rehydrate more properly. Why should Tank Davis care how much Ryan Garcia weighs on the day of the fight? His team scammed Ryan and Ryan's team should be responsible enough to tell him not to sign the contract. However, for much of the people who watched it, they do not know and they will not care.
Well, Ryan Garcia and his camp knew this from the very beginning and later admitted that he doesn't have the legs in this fight but he sign the contract so let it be. But this kind of rehydration clause is bullshit. Tank obviously has all the advantage in this fight and it's hard for Ryan to win specially if you are not comfortable with the weight that you are supposed to be during fight night. He could rehydrate to 150 lbs and most likely be a equal and good fight. Anyone knows what the official weight of Davis prior to the fight? So that we can see as well how much he rehydrated? Anyway, Ryan already admitted defeat and said that most likely he will go up in weight next fight.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 24, 2023, 10:11:45 AM
2AM , wonder if I should sleep.

My problem, Golden State is playing in 2,5 hours and I really want to watch the game.  Grin

This is do or die. They win and the gain the momentum and Sacramento might get nervous. If they lose we all know it's over. Being this week on the road and having to win 3 straight with 2 on the road, that's gonna be impossible.

Draymond Green is returning after his 1 game suspension and will give them some defensive help inside. If 2 out of 3 players ( Steph / Klay / Poole ) make a good game shooting wise this will be a win for GSW.

I think it's gonna be a close game and I wouldn't wonder if it's open to the last shot. If the series returns to Sacramento being tied at 2:2 there might be a chance That the Kings are getting nervous. They are quite inexperienced in the playoffs and we all know what the GSW are, they are champions.

Gonna be an exiting game tonight.

Maybe your lack of sleep was worth it. The game was indeed very close and was open to the winner in the last shot. I really thought Sacramento would've won this game. GSW is indeed a very dangerous 3rd quarter team although the inexperienced Kings made their own rally in the 4th.

Now the Kings need to win in game 5 if they want to stay alive in the playoffs. The Kings are now feeling the pressure they never felt during the regular season. I am still hoping they can win this series against the defending champions but it will be an uphill battle. The best way for the Kings to win is to lead early and stop GSW's potential rallies. It will be very hard to beat the defending champions in the last few minutes.
It almost caused them the game though with Steph Curry called for a time out that they didn't. Lol. It was a mental lapse on his part or no one told everyone on the court that the Warriors doesn't have a timeout anymore. You can see Steve Kerr's reaction when Steph made that big mistake. So it was a T then Fox if I'm not mistaken made the 3's to cut the lead. If only former Warriors Barnes hit that shoot, it could have been a disaster for the Warriors as they will be down 3-1. Luckily Barnes missed that long 3 and it's a W for the Warriors.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 21, 2023, 01:45:17 AM

As for his retirement, I doubt that, win or lose he will still continue to fight and bring more money to him and his wife. We also know that Rachel has somewhat takes care of their money and in their investments, so nothing to worry if even Nonito retires, he still some some money left and can sustain their family in a long time.

As long as he can make money, he will continue to fight. He might be old due to his age, but look at him. He still comes back after a brutal loss to Inoue. So, Donaire is really tough, and any boxer not on the level of Inoue might have a problem against an older Donaire.

According to the article below, he is already a millionaire in dollars. Therefore, he has a lot of money to start a business and invest.

https://surprisesports.com/athletes-biography/nonito-donaire-net-worth/
Quote
Donaire has a net worth of $5 million as of 2023.

That's a lot of money in the Philippines. If it's converted into Philippine pesos, that would be almost 300 million pesos. Well, a business would really help to ensure the growth of that money and secure the future of the family. With that amount, Donaire could also start his own promotion company in the Philippines. That way, he would be able to grow his business and at the same time, help boxers with the potential to become champions.

Very possible that he and her wife will take that route. Aside from doing business after his retirement, he can also help newcomers to develop their skills and who knows opportunity will come and let them also be a champ.

With that huge amount of net worth, he can secure his family's future by putting / establishing good
business that he can relate in this sport.
Why not? as we have discussed Rachel seems to be a good businesswoman, after he handled Nonito's career, it seems that they got a good deal every Nonito's fight and then saving their money for investment and for their future.

So there is a possibility that they might invest on something in the Philippines, they have been in and out of the country for some time specially if Nonito doesn't have a big fight. It's just the question on what business or opportunity will the Donaire take the risk in the Philippines.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder - May 6th in Mexico on: April 21, 2023, 01:15:52 AM
No Surprise here this is another picked fight for Canelo Alvarez for sure, but even though this is a cherry-picked fight for Canelo Alvarez this is a great opportunity for John Ryder to prove himself even further because even if he didn't win this fight but he has shown great performance and make this fight a gruesome one for Canelo Alvarez I really think that will favor many viewers for him and as we all know that Alvarez is near his hanging of the gloves but this is surely for Canelo Alvarez to tuned himself or this match will serve as another sparring partner for him,

But we can not say for sure as what we have seen in the recent fight for Zhilei Zhang vs Joe Joyce it was a cherry-picked fight for Joyce and it really bite them back harder than Concreate, it was really an upset for Joyce and could be a potential downhill for his career, now underestimating an opponent is surely not a good move and for this Alvarez vs Ryder fight it could happen again but let's just way this will be fewer days for it to start so for me let's just enjoy it,
Ryder is full of confidence going into this fight, and he said that Canelo and his camp shouldn't sleep on him. As we or maybe him included has been hearing about Canelo rematching Bivol or even inserting David Benadivez name in the mix.

As if they are overlooking him in this fight and that he will just be another name in Canelo's resume.

So we shall see how tough Ryder is. Because amongst the British fighter that Canelo fought, no one last the full distance.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 21, 2023, 01:05:18 AM
It looks like we're going to see a repeat of Game 1 and Game 2 of the 76ers vs Nets series. The Nets had a good first quarter, but then the 76ers came back with their great defense, and now they are leading by 11 points at halftime. The Nets need to make their 3-point shooting more accurate to win this game since they have very few points in the paint, and the 76ers did a great job on that.

Yeah, to be honest, I'm rooting for the Nets to win this game, at least 1 win against the Sixers will not be a bad series after all. But it seems they really have a problem with Joel Embiid and Harden.

But let's see, it's the start of the 3rd quarter and it seems that started very hot and cut the lead to 1 point.
So hopefully it will be a closed game and Nets winning this game.
Actually Joel Embiid is bang up in this game, he has been falling in this game after chasing a block and then he starts to limp and hold on that right knee. It's tie score now, and it might be that this game will be close enough.

Or if coach Rivers will have to sit Joel first and see how he feels. He can't risk him at this point, they are up 2-0 and so if he force Joel to play in this game with pain, might not be a good decision in the long run.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 20, 2023, 10:00:44 AM
And his hand injuries could be the result of his hard training against Fulton. Although he could have that injury already, but might be aggravated in training and that's why he has to postponed the fight till June.

There is no report of surgery or operation though, so it might be that Inoue needs to take care of that hands and rest for a while so no training for him. As for the weight, yes, I do agree there not much issue he could even weigh less than the required limit of 122 lbs in this fight.

Even in perfect condition, I hope the injury will not hinder the performance of Inoue.  There are cases where a person, even though fully healed, is affected by the injury(psychological effect).  I hope to see a 100% performing Inoue in the fight against Fulton on July 25.

Psychologically? No, I don't think he'll get bothered by it considering how much beating he had been into from training down to taking a lot of heavy punches in the ring against his opponents .
Hand injuries maybe vital for any fighters, but an injury as a result of over training might not be too serious. His injury was first been reported late in March - so I guess he still have enough time to heal those, thus in does not need surgery though.
Same here, I do not think that he will be affected mentally with that surgery. He can still throw that hand in powerful manner as he used to be and there will be no effect if the hand had healed 100%.

And Asians are not known to have this kind of psychologically in this fight, it's either they will give their best in a fight or just lose because the other boxer has prepared well and is the best fighter that night. Inoue has face a lot of good and elite boxers in his career that I doubt that a hand injury will stop him from accomplishing another goal of his.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 20, 2023, 08:39:49 AM
What can say about this potential staging of fight in Saudi Arabia involving the top heavyweights?

https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1648011840050307075

Do you think that Eddie Hearn can make this happen?

Who's going to be the main card? the undercard card?

Who's going to win between Fury and Usyk? Wilder vs Joshua?

Gonna be interesting if this can really happen in the future, and if that money is on the table, then I don't think that anyone can refuse it unless their ego flare up and wanted more slice on the pie.

That is one hell of a card and probably the biggest in heavyweight if Hearns can do that. And most likely everyone can be on-board if the money is really that big, it's almost half a billion on the line.

But the A-side is still Fury, so might be very difficult to negotiate that one against Usyk as we all know that the supposedly fight of this two has broken down. He might have a chance on the Joshua and Wilder though. This two hasn't face in the year and fans are waiting that this fight is going to be made although the two has losses already.
Why not? if March Room can make this fight with their rich counterpart in Saudi then good for boxing in general, not just for the money that is being generated by this mega fight.

Saudi has slowly becoming the mecca in Middle East and if I'm not mistaken, it was Eddie Hearn's idea and to some extend Bob Arum as they have been staging fights in Middle East in the last couple of years. Just imagine if Floyd and Manny should have been in today's mega fight, for sure this two are going to get a ton of money staging that biggest fight in the Middle East.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 20, 2023, 02:41:47 AM
It's been awhile I try daily to make profit

Stake casino mostly mines

But it take back profit.. I have 2k balance.. is there method

To get 100 $ per day
It's gambling, there are no sure fire profits like a daily job that will make you $100. Risk, element of luck and other factors to make daily profits for you. I think for a gambling you should know that.

But if you feel that you are lucky and can go it, then by all means gamble that $2k balance of yours and see how far can you go and make more money out of that initial capital.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi is eventually ID by the government on: April 20, 2023, 02:20:50 AM
A friend of mine was of the opinion that the government cannot put an end to Bitcoin because it unfortunately cannot be traced to a particular person or organization which could be sued for bringing about the currency or Blockchain.
If this is true does it mean that the identification of Satoshi as a person or organization will pose a treat to the existence of Bitcoin or otherwise
Bitcoin is too big to fall, at this point is is slowly growing and for sure next year when we had this bull run, maybe are going to be joining the bandwagon. As far as the identify of Satoshi, I'm not sure if government are willing to pursue it, might take some huge budget on their side that is not going to be worth in the end. Besides, Satoshi chooses to be hidden, he did a lot of misdirection that even today, we don't know if he is still exist, dead or a group of individuals creating Bitcoin. So let's put that argument to rest, Satoshi can't be identified.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 20, 2023, 01:58:38 AM
I took the 1.89 ML Lakers yesterday, now it's rolling at 1.84 only. I guess a lot of gamblers do agree that the Lakers will snatch another on at Memphis home. This will be bad for the Grizzlies if ever it happens.

Unfortunately, Morant is inactive in tonight's game against the Lakers. However, it looks like the Grizzlies aren't worried about that and aren't going to give up, as they lead by 15 points after the end of the first half. So if the Grizzlies continue at this pace, there's a chance they can beat the Lakers tonight. By the way, the Lakers are performing pretty poorly, especially Davis, who has only made 1 of 9 field goal attempts in the first half.

The Memphis Grizzlies took a double digit lead, but now in the 3rd in seems that the lead is just about 6.

I have the Lakers +6.5 so it's going to be interesting specially down the stretch. Hachimura and Reaves again the focal point of their comeback in the 3rd. 4th will be crucial for both teams, Bane and Brooks on the bench because of foul trouble. I'm expecting the Lebron James carrying the Lakers in the 4th quarter .

We're currently in the fourth quarter, and we'll see if the home team can even the series without Morant. This is a must-win game for them if they want to avoid an early exit. The Lakers are a capable team, so Memphis needs to protect their lead in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
No 2-0 for the Lakers tonight, the Memphis shows their toughness without even Ja Morant on the field. And Tillman and Jackson is beating the Lakers in the offensive rebounds and I think that is the story of this game.

But Lakers missing lots of shots in the outside as compare to their first game here at Memphis.

Still though, they got what they wanted here, to steal at least 1 game and now they are going back to their homecourt and defend it.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC calls Algorand a security - thoughts? on: April 19, 2023, 10:10:29 AM
I'm not surprised though, SEC has been on the offensive lately and even after Coinbase and other exchanges.

It's that they are stepping it right now and it looks like they are hiding on the notion that they want to protect their consumers. Nevertheless, not the first time that we will hear this kind of statement from them, the question is who is next?

As far as holding Algorand, hard to say right now, but it's better if the OP can wait a bit before deciding to sell it off.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you favor betting on spesific sport? on: April 19, 2023, 09:36:55 AM
I am just curious to know why people favor one Sport over another, when it comes to betting? Is there specific Sport that increase your win chance or do you bet on those Sport for other reasons?

I know most people will favor certain Sport, because they know more about the players or the teams and information is power, when it comes to betting... but some Sport are 50/50 when it comes to the outcome of the match. (One lucky punch or kick can make a underdog a champion)

Please share your thoughts...  Tongue
It's true, but I guess the chances of you winning is huge as compare to luck based games like slots and others. And if by chance that the outcome didn't favor you because the under wins, then there's nothing you can do about it.

Even at 1.01 you are not sure that you are going to win, but there are bettors willing to put huge money, millions but we have one thread that even at that odds he didn't win. And it's more entertaining to bet on games, and you are in the edge of the sit praying that you are going to win your bets.
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 19, 2023, 09:09:24 AM
After finally breaking $30k, I thought bitcoin correction happens. But so far it only touched again the $29k mark and is now back again at $30k. I believe bitcoin will now slow down a bit, maybe it will end at $31k at the end of this month. But since it is now over the $30k mark, I am calling April bullish although not that much.

I might have to wait until next month and see if there are lower dips for my DCA this month. Maybe $28k is doable in the next few weeks to come.
Yeah, quite surprised to see the price touching $29k again, I thought yesterday that we are going to make a run because the price did bounce back to $30,200++. I'm not sure what news really bring the price to this level again, but in any case, it's anothe opportunity to accumulate again.

And this is just to validate that we can go on parabolic rise, so at some point, we need to have corrections.

But this looks like a healthy one so that others can enter the market again when the price goes to $28k or below it. $28k might be the next support, if it is broken we are still good at $25k.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 08:53:35 AM
I hope Morant is okay with the Game 1 loss.

He said he's fine in the West, LOL. However, what will happen if the Lakers sweep Memphis? I think there's a possibility, as the Lakers have an advantage over Memphis with their bigs who can dominate the paint. Meanwhile, Memphis mostly relies on Morant, and I'm sure the Lakers have found a strategy to limit him.

What do you think will be the outcome of Game 2?
Yes, it's a big possibility if only Ja Morant is not going to play in this series. So hopefully he can come back in the next game. So it's going to be a game decision for the Memphis management to allow him to play and not go on 0-2 against the Lakers and then going in their home court next.

For the Phoenix, it was really a good win, they control the second half and it's enough for them to tie the series.
Booker is unstoppable, left or right he can score and that jumpshot is flawless. Playoff Durant showing his form too and then Paul had that crucial jumpshot on top with 3 minutes to stop the rally of Clippers.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 04:19:19 AM
Chris Paul has lost his last 14 games when Scott Foster was the referee. Will tonight be the night he breaks that streak? With the Suns down 0-1 in the series, they certainly need it. As ridiculous as Scott Foster’s hate for Chris Paul is, I’m not sure I’d go against it. I’m honestly not sure how Scott Foster still has a job at this point…
And it seems that the jinx of Scott Foster against Chris Paul is over as the Suns is leading the Clippers in the last 5 minutes of the game. Unless something ugly happens wherein Kahwi and Westbrook made a huge comeback and the Suns Booker and Durant can't score.

So let's see, very interesting to see this stats being broken now by Chris Paul.

And if they win, then 1-1 going to Clippers home court next.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 18, 2023, 04:52:11 PM
Gamble for fun only, using small money that you aren't needing, and think about losing that money first, to make sure that you won't be needing the money if it's gone.

Take a break.

Play for fun.

Don't chase your losses.

Stick to your Limits.

Gamble Responsibly.
This is all true, but it's hard to follow it to the tee, I mean at some point in our gambling activity we all be addicted to it, lose big money but still, go and play even if we borrow or make a loan.

And we can only stop it if we can start it from inside, from ourselves and really understand the negative effects of gambling. We can still continue to gamble though, and uses the tips you put without getting ourselves like paranoid because we are addicted to it that our lives are affected. So yeah, it might be hard to gamble responsibly, but we can try and make a middle ground, just saying.
1258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 18, 2023, 02:48:12 PM
If this boxer, Nghitumbwa, comes to fight, then we will certainly see an entertaining bout.
Alternatively, we might see an upset if he truly possesses the legitimate power to defeat a former champion. It's a big challenge for him since people are underestimating him, and boxers like him have nothing to lose. However, if he is truly determined to win, that's when we may witness an upset. Who knows, he might even get an easy ticket to a championship fight by defeating Casimero.
I don't know, but if Nghitumbwa is really a knockout artist base on his records, then he should really go and fight Casimero in the middle of the ring and see if he can knockout Casimero or if he is the one going to be knockout.

We don't want boxers like Casimero's last fight, that once he felt the power of Casimero, he made all excuses in the book to just take a dive on this fight. Hopefully Nghitumbwa is not that kind of boxer. Although he might feel the power, he will still go and fight Casimero hard so that we can see a entertaining fight and fans getting their money's worth.
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A service to find the relation between two addresses on: April 18, 2023, 02:33:34 PM
There's Reactor[1] from ChainAlysis but that's not available to the public, and it's way too complicated. Is it what you're trying to build? Would one be able to find the connection even if the funds moved through exchanges, services, mixers, etc. as is the case with this tool?

[1] https://www.chainalysis.com/chainalysis-reactor/

Once coins are sent to exchanges, they become disconnected from each other unless there is access to the exchange log. I don't see a solution to this problem ATM.

However, this service(which we already has coded part of it) aims to identify the relationship between two addresses or transaction IDs, and is going to target coins moved through mixers and similar services.
Again, it's the question on how you can find the relationships between two addresses?

If someone uses a mixer then everything is obfuscated, that's how mixer is design, so it will be interesting, if you have coded a way to find the connection between input and output addresses.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 18, 2023, 02:16:55 PM
Everyone knows the Warriors played their worst road game this season, which may be the reason they are 0-2 in this series. However, they still have game 3 and 4 to even the series, which is vital, and I believe they can win since they are extremely good at home. Game 5 or 7 is the most important, as the Kings have home court advantage. For the Warriors to defeat the Kings in the first round, they need to win at least one on the road, provided they win all their home games.

Spread are out in game 3, Warriors are -7? I think Warriors should be the easy bet here.
Coming out victorious in all the homes games might be what just the warriors needs, their ultimate goal is knock out top competitor from the serials. Warriors didn't have a good time this season, they currently did poor in games, but there's one specific quality I'm acquainted with, they always bounced back stronger. Home advantage is a strong priority for Kings, they shouldn't underestimate warriors. Winning Kings is not big deal, lucky enough they will sealed a win through the serials and face top competitors.
And probably that's why they are still not in the panic mode, even though down 0-2 they know that they can have the momentum once they are back in their homecourt. And as the record shows, they are good at home so I wouldn't be surprised with that opening line against the Kings in game 3. This will be a big test for the Kings, against one of the best home court team and see if they can steal one. As for the Sixers vs Nets, this is the best time as well for the Nets to get one game and not to be swept by the Sixers.
