It is quite fair to assume that Bayer Leverkusen may be a more dangerous opponent because Dortmund can turn on clown mode at any moment and lose points where no one could have predicted. Already now Bayer is rated better than Dortmund (but still too far from Bayern):

It is the classic odds by bookmakers for Bayern Munich. I will give them that as well because they are really the favourite for the league title by far. Their being at the third position now doesn't change anything for them. They are stronger than last season and the Kane transfer has been very beneficial. Leverkusen and Stuttgart are doing really well on one hand maybe. But I would expect Stuttgart not to last very long. However hopefully Leverkusen can manage to stay in this race until the final moments. If Dortmund did it with a worse level of performance Leverkusen deserve to do this more than them with this game now. |

I really liked Brighton's determination against Liverpool. Despite Liverpool's making a comeback with Salah's goals Brighton still managed to get one point. Liverpool couldn't answer in the last 10 minutes. Brighton's defense was vulnerable maybe but their scoring productivity has been really impressive so far.
We have seen another example of it which helped them get a point from this tough game. First the Tottenham loss and now a draw against Brighton. There is some drop in Liverpool's form but I believe in them to make up for this against Everton next time.

It was a big disappointment to see Barcelona struggling that much against Granada. They got even 2-0 behind in the first thirty minutes of the game I mean. It wasn't easy for Barcelona to even equalize the score. Joao Felix was nearly going to be the savior for his team however his goal was disallowed by VAR due to offside.  Interestingly Xavi didn't use Felix at the centre. He was again on the left wing and we saw Torres in the middle. I mean Torres is technically a winger rather than a striker. Maybe Felix and him both would have been more effective by a change in position. |

Roma are on the rise while Napoli are the other way around these days. This time Roma destroyed Cagliari away by 4-1. It was like nearly all of their shots on target ended up with goals. This must be their most efficient game in the season so far. It must be the same for Lukaku as well as he scored 2 goals.
He has reached 5 goals with this performance in the league. It looks like he can really have a productive season with Roma no matter what they do. He is really doing great in Italian football rather than the Premier League. It is the best for him to stay here as long as he wants and leave for Saudi Arabia at one point.

Manchester City off course did great but in this game, I saw they had fewer shorts on target. They created chances but not enough to score or be on target.
They did great matches previously, they didn't in the current match against Arsenal. It is not a fewer shot on target, they only made a single shot on target. It is quite shameful that Man City attackers were only able to make 1 shot on target during the match. I mean especially one thing was a really big goal opportunity. They were keeping Arsenal defense under pressure and Alvarez was nearly turning this pressure into a goal. David Raya made a big mistake but Arsenal must be thankful that it was a goal kick later on. Manchester City couldn't play as they wanted today. Arsenal finally managed to take advantage of this in the last minutes. Martinelli's luck was also right beside him in that incident and he scored it. I can't even imagine how satisfying it must be for Arteta to beat his old teacher Guardiola here.  |

After point losses in the Ligue 1 and Champions League for two games PSG finally won a game. Honestly I didn't expect this game against Rennes to be comfortable at all. I even thought Rennes would get some points from them. However getting 2-0 ahead in the first half made things much easier than expectations.
Mbappe didn't make any goal contribution in this game. This has been the same for four games by the way. I'm curious about whether he has lost his concentration from now on. Especially after the Newcastle game he must be really frustrated.

Bellingham is really unbelievable! He continues to play like a goal machine. He is doing amazing not only in the La Liga but also the Champions League. I really liked him against Osasuna as well of course. With these 2 goals he is top scorer with 8 goals in the league now. His high effort would play the biggest role if they become the champions. By the way Sevilla had a home game against Vallecano as well. However the game was really like a nightmare for Sevilla unfortunately. They were 2-0 behind in the first 30 minutes already. Even the equalizer came in the last moments otherwise it was a loss. I thought we would see a bigger effort from them and they would win this. |

Dortmund got a solid win against Union Berlin by 4-2 thanks to playing the second half really strongly. Union Berlin finished the first half 2-1 ahead which made me worried a little. Because I decided to add Dortmund's win to my parlay as their odds were tempting. Union Berlin have been on a really bad streak you know.
It wasn't a good day for Dortmund in terms of defensive game but they easily made up for that thanks to their scoring productivity. Fullkrug scored also which is important for Dortmund. Because he is newly improving his performance.

I was really surprised after seeing Inter not managing to win against Bologna. They couldn't even maintain their 2-0 score advantage. Bologna made it 2-2 in the first minutes of the second half. Actually there was a lot of time left for Inter to get ahead once again. But they weren't good at finding the target. On the other hand it was a good day for Milan. Maybe the final score was a close one but they managed to win anyway. Maignan got a red card and Giroud had to play as goalkeeper for some time. He even prevented a big goal chance after that.  |

Chelsea got another win which was a really solid one at the same time. I was expecting them to maintain a winning streak. When Burnley got ahead first I must admit that I doubted Chelsea more. However that comeback was really insane. Chelsea played the second half really effectively and won by a big score like 4-1.
It was nice to see Sterling and Jackson scoring goals. Chelsea really need this kind of a contribution from their attackers while they are having difficult days. Their next game is going to be against Arsenal home maybe but at least this winning streak might help them resist more than before.

If Miami makes the post-season, it could mean MLS action will continue with Lionel until December 9, when the MLS Cup Final will take place. Source I'm not confident about this honestly. Because it is really difficult to believe in Messi to just let go of things he has in the USA right now. It is like Messi owns the MLS now considering what he was offered and given. He must be happy with his life in the United States. If he plans to play for at least a few more season before retirement then I think he would like to stay there more than one season. But as for a return to Barcelona it would be possible in the future. I think he would like to have his jubilee at his old team Barcelona which he gave so many of his years in his career. |

Chelsea's game up next is against Burnley away. Chelsea's win over Fulham the last time was really impressive and they really needed that one. But we need to see more wins from Chelsea side like a winning streak if possible. I think Burnley is just the kind of opponent they would like at the moment.
Burnley have made a poor start to the season as well. I know Chelsea are struggling with injuries on one hand but the current lineup must still be enough to beat Burnley in the same way. I think they can keep away Burnley from scoring a goal but hopefully their scoring productivity would be similar to the Fulham game.

The last game of this week is going to be Rennes - PSG. Of course PSG are favoured by bookmakers clearly. However there is an interesting head-to-head game history between these teams. I mean the games in Rennes' home. Rennes haven't lost to them home since 2018 and won a few games as well. While PSG are this much in trouble they don't convince me at all about winning this game either. Rennes have similar statistics with PSG in the league so far. I think they will motivate themselves very much to get some points. I would rather bet on Rennes' double chance here. |

Brighton are still a failure after leaving the second game week in the Europa League behind. They had big difficulties against Marseille as well and they barely saved one point by making a comeback from a 2-0 disadvantage. For now they are still 1 point behind the second-placed team in their group though.
However the game they play doesn't convince me at all. Brighton were shown as the second biggest title contender for this tournament at the beginning. I assume they aren't like this right now. They should play like how they play in the English Premier League to be competitive for real.

Bayern Munich are going to play a home game against Freiburg this week. Bayern Munich had a big difficulty against Leipzig last week. They could have even lost the game I mean. After that the win against Copenhagen must have given them some boost in morale. This should also have some help for them in this game to get another win.
Freiburg couldn't make a good start. Things are worse than the previous season for now. The win against Augsburg must have been a chance to take a deep breath maybe but I don't think they can steal point from Bayern Munich. I expect a comfortable win by Bayern Munich.

Manchester United and Manchester City both are rumoured to be planning to sign Brighton winger Mitoma in January. I would like to see Manchester United signing him instead because they would make use of a productive player like him more now. They are in a really desperate condition now.
Their defense is in terrible shape you know. At least they can make up for that a little more by scoring more goals. Mitoma is one of the a few members who can really make a big contribution in this way in the Premier League right now.
But who between Manchester City and Manchester United will be able to bring Mitoma because the two teams will definitely make higher offers to really convince Mitoma to choose between the two. Maybe if Manchester City really wanted to bring Mitoma into their squad then they would definitely do something different from Manchester United who are currently not in very good condition even financially I think they are lagging behind Manchester City. Next January there will be transfer window that will open again but it doesn't look like it will be as busy as the previous transfer window because many of Europe top players have left for the Saudi league. However teams that feel they are short of players with vacant positions may want to make several purchases or loans to survive this season. When we look at this situation from this aspect technically Manchester City's hand is much stronger. Both of these teams are rich but Manchester City have been much more successful recently and they have a much more qualified squad as well. However there is a point that we should consider as well. Manchester City already have great players for every position. It is the same for Mitoma's position as well. Therefore I'm doubting his chance for starting eleven. I mean how often can he be in the starting eleven? He would like to have some guarantees for that maybe. |

Inter won their Champions League game while Milan were losing two points once again. But I don't expect any of these teams to get affected by the negative results they get in the Champions League. Because both of their concentration for the Serie A games is just something else. They both are very assertive for the title for now.
I still can't forget about the Inter - Milan game though. But I wouldn't expect a similar result to be seen in their second game in the season. I feel like this will be another season Inter and Milan fight for the league title until the end. But for now it isn't easy to make sure about any side to make it of course.
Inter Milan will face Bologna at home while AC Milan will travel to Genoa's headquarters for the eighth match. In general, Inter Milan's chances are slightly easier to maintain first position in the standings because they are not under great pressure when facing Bologna. Genoa has good capital when facing teams that are much better than them where they can win the match against AS Roma and draw against Napoli, so for AC Milan this is a tough match, especially since the match will take place at Genoa's home ground. The draw they got in the Champions League against Dortmund was not too negative, because they played at Dortmund's home ground and in fact a draw was enough for them even though AC Milan was in third place in group F standings. Inter Milan have a slight advantage because they managed to beat Benfica in the Champions League, so when they face Bologna they have more motivation to maintain first place in the standings. When it comes to these games I'm positive about both of them for Inter and Milan. Bologna have got only 1 loss so far and they have been getting quite many draws. They would try to hold off Inter players by a defensive game for a point here as well most probably. But while Inter are very dangerous with their goal productivity they should be able to win this game. Genoa got a really huge win against Roma recently you know. This was an unexpected result as they won by 4-1. However it was due to Roma's being in terrible condition. I don't think this game will be very challenging for Milan. They should be winning comfortably. |

Let me be direct: Why is everyone under the impression that Arsenal, even at home, can beat Manchester City? They're without Debruyne and Rodri, but don't kid ourselves! Manchester City is lauded on merit. Their team, even when disorganized, is difficult, right? The idea that their absence will hobble City bothers me. In their recent matches against Arsenal, this club has shown impressive skill and planning, winning and drawing. Could team loyalty's political nature be clouding reasonable judgment? Arsenal, while wonderful, need more than home turf advantage to win this match, and I for one am not convinced
But on the other hand I would like to ask you this question: Were you expecting Manchester City to lose against Wolves last week? I assume your answer would be "Absolutely not.". You know how dominant Manchester City were in that game but this still wasn't enough to get even one point. Maybe you will say that Manchester City would play more carefully in this game. I hope to see the same thing from them as well. But I'm still leaving the door open for Arsenal to get at least one point considering their recent form in the Premier League. |

I'm really sorry guys, I didn't expect Beşiktaş to be this bad. 3 goals in 10 minutes. Really a great success.
I'm not a Beşiktaş fan but I feel sorry for them, it was an important match for the country points.
I thought Fenerbahçe would win very easily and differently but they won 2-1. It is enough that they won.
Besiktas shocked their supporters that's for sure. They had a 2-0 lead thanks to Aboubakar's goals. But after Rosier got that red card something started to go really wrong with this team. Lugano had so many goal attempts in the second half. It was a signal for them to score a goal as well. However I never expected them to make a comeback and even win the game. They scored 3 goals in the last 10 minutes. It was really like a joke for Besiktas considering the quality gap between these teams. Maybe Besiktas got a red card but they could have still secured the win easily if they played decently. |

Roma are doing really well in the Europa League at least. Because their start to the Serie A has been really worrying so far. But they are expected to make improvement no matter what. Therefore the Europa League is also very important for them. Mourinho must be still having nightmares about the finale in the previous season.
So far they have started the group stage really strongly. I think they would finish as the leader as well. The most difficult part will be after the group stage. We don't know what teams will be coming from the Champions League too. No matter what they must be aiming the title once again.
