I believe the game tonight will make us surprised, Both (Man City and Liverpool) still have a big chance of the premier league title. Just prepare your money bag to pick your favorite teams.

It's bound to be an epic evening of football.  There are battles at each milestone; LFC and City for the league, Arsenal and Spurs for the CL, West Ham and MU for Europa, and Leads and Burnley to remain in the top tier.

I'm rooting for Arsenal, Norwich, LFC, and Aston Villa.  Go Gunners!

I created a thread to offer trending services
~

So, let me get this straight; you falsify interest in shit-scam-coins, and now some other shitbird who falsifies interest in shit-scam-coins is shitting all over your thread?  I just want to make sure I understand term "trending services" correctly.

1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: forgot bitcoin core wallet password on: May 21, 2022, 10:14:31 PM
Well according to the OP he has access to massive amounts of computing power:

Hello guys,

I wanna team up with people wo believes in team work than goin solo in here to solve at least 2 puzzles, you write the code and i have resource to run i have 16 tesla A100 gpus with it we can scan unto 23 TKey/s i'm not a great programmer but i have resources like Steve jobs always said what a team can achieve an individual cannot achieve. i look forward to making a team a great one

So he found an old wallet while working on one of the bitcoin puzzles that are posted.
I think we are missing something.

-Dave

you are right i still have access to it, its an aws instance i do 3d modelling for a living so i require such configurations but the dat file i found it on my google drive a couple of days ago tried importing it in a bitcore wallet it asks for password even to generate a new receiving address

I think you're missing Dave's point: I believe he finds your story suspiciously reminiscent of the many, many newbies who come here claiming to have found an old wallet, on an old hard drive from an old laptop that got clogged with semen and stopped working sometime in 2007, or 2008.  And has 10K bitcoin on it.  Frequently these newbies offer very generous rewards for help cracking the password.  The thought occurred to me, too.  The only thing that doesn't fit the pattern is the "modest" 9BTC, so maybe you're not a schmuck who found a fake wallet on the internet and thinks he just struck it rich.

If you are being honest; as others have mentioned, btcrecover is your best bet.  Especially if you have a desktop with a pair of fast GPUs and you can remember part of the password.  If you don't have a fast desktop with a pair of fast GPUs, buy one.  It'll cost much less than the $130k reward.
1566  Economy / Lending / Re: - on: May 20, 2022, 11:56:54 PM
I will wait until my payday to make the required deposit so I can withdraw.

If you do you'll regret it.

I think you're a liar trying to scam people yourself, but in case you're not; that screenshot you posted is a total scam.  No legitimate organization that just awarded you thousands of dollars is going to ask you to pay hundreds to get your money.
1567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Watch only wallet help CC on: May 20, 2022, 08:14:00 PM
I setup a CC for stacking sats off swan.
.
Can you explain what CC and swan mean in this context?

I think the OP is using CC as an abbreviation for ColdCard, maybe.  Swan is an exchange that makes scheduled purchases of bitcoin by drafting a small ACH transfer from your bank account.  I assume they only operate in the US, but not sure about that.

@nagasaki23, If I'm correct in my assumptions that your coins are in a ColdCard wallet, you can use Electrum to connect to the hardware wallet.  You'll need to create a new wallet, and for type of wallet pick "standard," then select "Use a hardware wallet."  Also, when you set up your hardware wallet you were instructed to write down a 12-word or 24-word seed phrase.  That seed phrase can be used to restore the wallet in Electrum, but that would defeat the purpose of having a hardware wallet in the first place.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 20, 2022, 07:57:48 PM
Last two game really made difficult for Gunners.

All they really needed to do was win the match against Tottenham last Thursday, but they just couldn't hold off the Kane and Son combo.  Son has been playing amazing this year, I think he's second only to Salah in PL goals this season.  And he's only getting better, which makes me think Tottenham is going to be vying for a top 4 spot for years to come.  And, it's why I don't think Norwich is going to help us out this weekend.

Liverpool - Wolves

looking at this odd @1.16 in favor of liverpool it looks like liverpool will be on the field alone while wolves players will be sitting on the bench doing nothing, I'm a liverpool fan but I think bookmakers are exaggerating this odd, I'm thinking about betting on the over 2.5

The over is probably a good bet, but yeah those are shitty odds for the match.  I don't see Liverpool winning by more than 1 goal, so the handicap is also pretty lame.  Usually I like to add props to a match like this one; i.e. corners, total team goals, etc.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 20, 2022, 06:13:07 PM
Everton might have saved themselves from the relegation but Burnley and Leeds are still in relegation race. So last team to relegate is still to ascertain. Last gameweek is very crucial as we will get to know who is gonna win and who is gonna be the fourth team for the CL and which will be the last team to relegate.

I'm rooting for Arsenal to take the 4th spot and secure a CL berth next year, but I'm not optimistic.  Arsenal hosts Everton this weekend, and should be able to take away three points, but I don't expect Tottenham to drop any points to Norwich.  All the Spurs need is a tie to secure the 4th spot.  I hope things work out for the gunners, but again, I think it's a longshot.
1572  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transferring Electrum wallet to new online computer on: May 20, 2022, 05:53:48 PM
Yes I have the earlier version of GPG Suite for 10.13. I managed to import the key directly but when trying to verify the signature it says it "cannot be trusted"

That's normal if you haven't certified the key.  I've address this in the tutorial in this section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5240594.0#post_MacImport

Open your GPG keyring, select ThomasV's key, right-click, then click "Sign."  Once you've signed the key the results will no longer say that it's not trusted.  Keep in mind, you'll need your own GPG keypair to certify the key.

That's certainly a whole new level. And there I thought I could give you serious advice on hosting.

I appreciate your advice on hosting.  Kiss
1574  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transferring Electrum wallet to new online computer on: May 20, 2022, 01:56:20 PM
GPG Suite is no longer supported for OSX 10.13 (my OS) but I guess this is not the problem as I've been able to find the keys of the other developers.

Is that High Sierra?  That's the version of MacOS I used for my tutorial, and ran into the same issue.  You can find GPG Suite for older versions of MacOS here:

https://gpgtools.org/releases/gpgsuite/release-notes.html#2021.3

As for importing ThomasV's key, I like using the command line interface for that; after installing GPG Suite open a terminal window and try one of the following commands:

Code:
gpg --keyserver hkps://keys.openpgp.org --recv-keys 6694D8DE7BE8EE5631BED9502BD5824B7F9470E6
Code:
gpg --keyserver hkps://keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 6694D8DE7BE8EE5631BED9502BD5824B7F9470E6

You didn't even pay attention to the first word in the topic and wrote here complete crap.

Roflol!  You silly scammer!  Do you really expect anyone with half a brain to believe this thread is real?  The first word in the title of the thread is a dead giveaway that it was posted by one of your scammy alts.  Just take a look at the OP's post history; "they have the best tennis odds," lol.  And, do you really expect anyone to believe the issue was resolved in less than 20 hours?  You didn't even try to make it believable.

I think we need to fight fire with fire.  I suspect that the scammer behind the .xyz site spammed google with "legal removal" requests, probably with a bunch of different google accounts.

I've just reported the .xyz site as malware using the link below.  I suggest we all submit a report, making it hard for google to ignore.

And why is your website a priority if the rest of your life is as messed up as you say?

Mental illness often causes people to get their priorities misaligned.  I'm no psychologist, nor do I play one on the internet, but giving this guy's fascination with ending facebook, and if his living situation is accurately described, it seems pretty obvious he's mentally ill.
1578  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ThatsMod user scammer on: May 19, 2022, 02:32:43 PM
DireWolfM14, as ThatsMod is already present here and to give an equal position for both parties, would you mind to retract the negative tag for now --or at least change them into neutral-- until it is proven which side lied and which side told the truth?

I don't think that's a good idea.  It's my opinion that there's enough evidence suggesting ThatsMod did scam the OP.  Even though ThatsMod is participating in this thread, it seems like his story is full of holes and he hasn't provided anything to cause me to doubt the OP's story.  And I'm a reasonable guy; all it would take is something to cause me to doubt the OP's story.

Furthermore, like ThatsMod himself said earlier, the tag doesn't prevent him from working on the 2 or 3 super-secret confidential projects he's got going on, or seeking out more work.
1579  Economy / Reputation / Re: Alt possibilities for 4 high rank accounts on: May 19, 2022, 02:12:48 PM
It's absolutely ridiculous that we're on page three of this nothing burger.
As if you don't post in nothin-burgers yourself all the time (for example 1xbit) and in the same time you are preaching others what to do while you are also posting here  Cheesy

You seem to be taking my comments rather personally.  They weren't directed at you, but if you feel their applicable I can't stop you.  As for my posts in various threads; if you don't like them you can use that handy "ignore" button that's provided.

But, really, you think threads about a scamming casino are nothing-burgers?  Interesting take.
1580  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Deleting Electrum wallet on: May 19, 2022, 04:07:27 AM
As mentioned above, I used the Electrum wallet app on my desktop PC. I accumulated some BTC in that wallet app and decided that, going forward, I would use a hardware wallet instead. (I simply used the recovery seed to restore that wallet on my hardware device.) I had heard that a hot wallet could be hacked so I decided to delete that wallet file. Aren't hot wallets more susceptible to hacking? Correct me if I'm wrong.

That's not a very safe way to get a hardware wallet seed.  If I were you I would use the hardware wallet to create a completely new seed phrase that's never been on a PC, and send the bitcoin to that new wallet.  The very point of having a hardware wallet is having a safe backup that's never been in a position to have possibly been compromised.  Only then can you have complete confidence that your coins are safe.

The other thing that strikes me as odd, you had an Electrum seed and restored it using a hardware wallet?  It's my understanding that Electrum seeds are not compatible with hardware wallets, which use Bib39 seed phrases.  Did you confirm your coins are accessible with the hardware wallet?

As for the other issue of safely deleting files, I use BleachBit.  It's free and open-source.  It overwrites the sectors with random noise, so there's no way for them to be restored.  A combination of file encryption and file-shredding tools is a good way to keep the data and keep it safe.
