I think the matches later will be mostly one-sided so I picked the favorites to win.

Day 2 is in for the DreamLeague season 20 and I'm watching this match between Team Secret and PSG.LGD for their first map. Good luck with this bet. We've got Muerta as position 1 for the PSG.LGD, this is interesting.

Betting on the draws is tempting as most of the series in Group A of the DreamLeague have gone to a draw after the first day. Tongue

We'll probably see more teams split maps until the end since it's all about avoiding sweeps and getting at least the top 4 at the end of the first group stage.
I'd avoid mostly betting on the first day to 2nd day and after this group stage 1, we still got group stage 2 and I think the more serious one is on the group stage 2. But that's okay with these times, it's best to enjoy the games and bet on the side if you want to.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 12, 2023, 08:25:02 AM
Many gamblers then become wiser in gambling, but some continue to gamble even though they have made a promise. It depends on him; somehow, he can forget what he said before, and that's normal.
That can't be avoided when it's like a normal thing for most of the gamblers that have dealt with promising to themselves that will stop after they gamble for the day.

Gambling addiction can be cured, but it depends on each person. And it also takes effort and strong intention to cure gambling addiction; if necessary, he can ask the people closest to him to help him to cure his gambling addiction.
It can be cured and there's hope for those that are addicted but it will take time on how they'll be able to overcome addiction. As someone who deals with gambling addiction, you can't help yourself alone but if you did then you deserve a round of applause.

The real optimism airdrop was already done and whilst it's a success for the project itself for its launching. The scammers never stop trying to hook off some victims that are still interested of the project's airdrop.

I see how enticing is that, it is somewhat huge that those who have greedy souls will certainly be joining.
That's actually their targets, those greedy people that are not doing their research and probably aren't aware that the airdrop was done. I've seen people that have already been a victim of these fake optimism airdrop even if they're aware that it's done, they just reasoned out that they just wanna try and what if it's true.
1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi nakamoto was there that is why BTC come to stay. on: June 11, 2023, 10:11:33 PM
It doesn't have to imitate what El Salvador just did. El Salvador's president and probably some of its high local authorities have come to understand what Bitcoin really is. That's why it should be made for most countries and people, to understand what Bitcoin is doing and what it is used for. Whether there is or there is no government intervention and adoption, Bitcoin is for people and people is for Bitcoin. That's why it's here to stay and it just keeps on growing over time.

On NBA , what can I say more ? let Jokic win it man and let him go back to his horses because I really enjoy to see his videos regarding this topic.
Well, it's just going to be a matter of time and maybe by tomorrow, he's going to win it. If the Nuggets win the match in game 5 then this is all settled.

That man is a treasure outside the basketball game and a ring should be well deserved for him and for Denver as well.
And it won't be surprising if he's going to make another standard for most teams upon taking over a championship. That's like a tough standard but if teams see a prospect just like him, they'll get him for sure. Just like what we're seeing on the rumored top 1 pick this upcoming draft whom is Wenbanyama.

Meanwhile , we have DreamLeague on Dota 2 as well and Liquid are still trying to figure out this patch and it looks like Tundra will quick 2-0 them.
With a note that Tundra has got 2 stand-ins, they're doing pretty well on the first day.

For me , I would watch Secret games as I still believe they have a chance to get Last Chance qualifiers TI and maybe they will catch that last spot.
I've watched the match of theirs against Talon and it's just a tie and the last match that they've in was with TSM and it's also 1:1. This is still the day 1 and most teams are still experimenting, the games are on going right now.

Hype is completely on Shopify Rebelion as Miracle is standing on this team and man...Arteezy and Miracle on same team ? I cannot miss first game. Wink
First game, they've lost against GG and then they've won the 2nd game. Currently, I am watching their game 1 match against BetBoom.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 10, 2023, 10:39:58 AM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.
I'll withdraw and that's easy. We don't keep our coins on any centralized platforms whether it's an exchange or a crypto casino. And if there's no other option, that's the best thing to do because you can still sell it somewhere offshore so you'll get what you've accumulated.
You don't just stay in your country if they're too strict with the implementation of rules and regulations against bitcoin. So, whether you like it or not, that's the best option and that's just to withdraw and hold. If ever they change their stance that's good but at least you've got a game plan on what you'll do with your accumulated btc.

Not only that, I think they will feel fulfilled because after learning about Bitcoin, they are now having it on their non-custodial wallet.  I believe that motivation of giving a reward have huge impact on the interest in Bitcoin of those students
That's true, and these students are still kids. When something was given to them for free, they will never forget that and there will be thought on their minds about what was given to them. And from there, they'll try to learn what's it, how to withdraw or convert it into cash if ever they need it. But just as the others thought, I also wish that they won't sell it too quickly and wait until they're able to know how to use it or at least save it even if it's just a little amount. The important factor here is the practice that they'll learn from doing it.

I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.
Based on your wins, you have got a half million wins and a hundred thousand in total for combined winnings. You're already there to your dream for years but it's just so happens that you're not a keeper of your wins. As you deal with failure, you failed yourself in keeping your money as you chase that million dream. You're so close yet too far because of being careless.
Considering his luck based on this post, there’s a big chance for him to reach a $1million mark, just continue being responsible in gambling and maybe, you can have it this year. Earning higher are more possible once you already gave good capital and in the case of OP, he can have more bets now because of the money he earned from gambling. Hopefully to see your proof once you already reached your goal, just keep working on that and don’t give up.
He can I think based on the volume of his wins but based on how he's losing control of himself, it may take time or might never. I wouldn't be too optimistic about his dream if he won't change his attitude towards being compulsive and losing his grip on his wins. The goal is to reach that amount so that whatever his winning amounts are, the important factor is how much he is taking from that win and how much he is saving. But note that for every big win that he make, we'll never know the background of it on how much he's losing before hitting good numbers.
1670  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 10, 2023, 04:47:56 AM
All are risky, the higher the return, the higher the risk. Holding takes a long time to make a profit, or you won't even make a profit if you hold the wrong coin. For lending, you may have problems like borrowers not paying or the lending platform crashing, as you mentioned. But if all goes well, you will profit monthly or even daily. Holding, lending or trading are all ways to profit in this market. Each of us has different options according to our needs.
It's much better to have confidence and peace of mind while holding your bitcoins. You'll have not to think of any borrowers who won't pay their loans to you. But you're right that we've got different options and take from these methods. I don't want headaches in lending so, it's best for me to avoid this method and just be content with holding and accumulation when the right time comes. Being patient pays off very well and everyone can speak for their own experiences just as how they've held.

Failures are countless thus, you'll always have to deal with them.

I was lead to believe that Trust Wallet is open source which is one of the reasons I chose it over for example Coinbase wallet!??!
Just so you know that Trust Wallet is also owned by Binance so if you're believing that they're open source, I guess that's giving you an idea of what they really are.
I know that these staking percentages and profits are interesting and encouraging. But in reality, they do change and decrease overtime when more people take part to stake in these. Much worse is you're giving custody to the wallet where you'll be staking these altcoins you've got. That's why it's just better be set to hold it as you've got the keys.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 09, 2023, 04:26:00 PM
That's sad news because they did really waive CP3. Well, who knows if his era is about to end but that's not what I am hearing from the rumors and the one that I'm hearing is about the Lakers eyeing him. It's possible that he gets to play with Lebron if ever he'll stay in the Lakers. I know that teams won't let it pass that if there's an opportunity to take CP3, they'll take him. He's able to help the Suns to get to where they've landed this season and that's commendable to him, he'll sure find another home.

Paul and James both have guaranteed contracts for next season. So my guess is that James will most likely stay with the Lakers, but Paul's situation isn't so clear-cut. I mean, Paul is quite an expensive asset for any team since his salary should be $30.8 million for next season. So if the Lakers really want to get Paul, it won't be an easy task for them because they have nothing to offer the Suns in such a deal.
Well, that's true unless there could be some adjustments made and Paul is willing to take a salary pay cut which I think is possible just for him to get to another him. It's still too early to scout where he's going since there are still the finals and the drafting that will happen soon too.
I still want to see him part of any team and be with whoever is comfortable playing with him.

Coach Spo recently said that Herro was listed as out for Game 4. So we shouldn't worry that Herro's return could negatively impact the team's current chemistry. By the way, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Herro mightn't play in the final series at all because it would make no sense for Coach Spo to experiment with rotating players after the outcome of Game 4.
If he's just healthy as he can be, there's someone who's too fierce for the Heat but then it's much better not to become a casualty to them for the game 4.
1674  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your personal debt reduction method aside the debt snowball method? on: June 09, 2023, 02:52:27 PM
The trick is very simple that is I am applying to myself. If I cannot afford it, there is no other option but to buy those things that I want in cash. Not gonna get any borrowed money or even gonna take a loan. That's the first simple rule that's working for me and I am sure that others are also using this as a rule to themselves, simply don't take it if you cannot afford it. In short, do not borrow if you're planning to go for it, and for those that have debt and having a hard time dealing with it. First, don't add another debt and as much as you can, have more cash flow.

This is really the best thing to do, but again, for others, it is not possible as they need to take a loan twice for something. If you are having a family and the income is not that huge and you need to pay something like tuition or needed stuff in your home, you are forced to take a loan. Also, as others said, if you won't take a loan, you can't purchase those things, which is sometimes true because I took a loan just to have my motorcycle as we used it for traveling, and we know right now that the fare is very expensive, and I also can't purchase it in cash. But the thing is that I can pay it on a monthly, so there are no problem with me, but I do need to pay it on time, and there are no other debts so that I can still pay it.
Yes, it's not applicable to all but I hope that someone will realize it. It's quite hard to understand if we want something to have as ours but if we really can't afford it, much better not to resort to it through taking a loan. That's gonna put you into a deeper hole of loaning because you'll discover that you can have things even if you lack money. That's why that thinking won't work on me and I'll just accept the fact that if I can't buy it through cash, then I'll have to forget it for now and save until I am able.

Things will change for those who are chasing to get qualified to TI because of the DPC points that will be distributed for this Bali major. Remember that this is going to be the last major for this year prior to TI, cmiiw. Too short for Talon as they only need a few points to qualify. While some teams might be up after gaining a lot of points after this Bali major. But I think that even after this Bali major, Talon will still be able to qualify and get a secured slot for TI. There are already 5 slots secured and Talon is on the 6th place because some teams who are gonna play in Bali are already qualified for the TI and that's not a competition anymore for Talon. But who knows, we'll just have to wait until it ends and see the calculations for the points.

Bali will be the last Major, and Talon is not in a rough spot but also not in a comfortable spot either. Whatever happens in Bali though, Talon will remain to be a strong contender in the SEA region. If ever they dropped to resort to the open qualifiers (which I know wouldn’t happen), they are one of the best teams with the highest chance to edge out other teams.

It’s less than a month before the quiet months start on the road to TI. I’m excited on the new teams that will be born to conquer the open qualifiers honestly more than those who will qualify the yearly tournament.

Yes, unless the teams at the bottom are the ones dominating the upcoming Bali major there is a high chance that Talon will be in TI without further competing in the regional qualifier and the last-chance qualifier. Qualifying again won't be easy for Talon if their DPC points aren't enough since all the current SEA representatives are possible to play as well knowing they need more points and a strong finish in Bali to secure TI slots thru the DPC points system.

The last major of this season is a month less. I am also excited to see the new teams rather than the usual ones.
Execration needs to finish the Bali major at the 5th-6th place the least in order for them to have more than what Talon has. Because their current DPC point now is 740, Talon has 1120. So, if Execration ends with that place they will earn 400 DPC points and that will make it 1140 DPC points and that's more than 20 points with Talon. Or if they end up with 7th-8th place, they'll get +300 DPC points and that makes them 1040 DPC points and they've got more with Team Spirit and beastcoast but the problem is, these two teams are also gonna participate in Bali so they'll for sure gonna have more too. I'm thrilled and excited to see how this will go.

And I wonder if any of us here will be watching live irl. Maybe in the next bull run in 2025 I will try if a major is happening near in my country.
I would love to but I can't, hoping someday that it gets close and I want to watch live too.

I have seen this type of lottery before but those don't require logging in it's like a hash and there is the address where they'll deposit the money for the ticket and then if they win, you'll input the address where you want to receive the winnings if ever you win with your ticket.
We can't give that much review on your website if it's under construction so, finish it first and have something inside on it so that we can see. It's discouraging to see the landing page asking to log in while most casinos will allow you to explore their platforms.

Anyone see this news?

Quote
The Phoenix Suns plan to waive veteran guard Chris Paul, according to a report from Bleacher Report/TNT’s Chris Haynes.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that a trade could also be on the table, along with potentially waving and re-signing the 12-time All-Star this offseason.

https://www.nba.com/news/chris-paul-free-agency-phoenix-suns

Ok, so after the firing of their coach, it seems the new owner is making a big chances on the player side as they waived CP3 already and obviously, wanted to clear some space so that they can get a new player. And if they trade him, might be interesting which team and what will be the trading package. Who knows, maybe he can play with Lebron? What's your thoughts?

Yeah, I have the same feeling that Talon will still secure a slot through having enough DPC points for the TI but let's see how things will change because we'll never know how teams will perform until we see the end of this major. It feels like another year has passed on and that's another quick one while many good teams are still struggling and their last resort is to go through the qualifiers which is the hardest part of going in to have that slot in the TI. How I wish that this TI will still have the wild card but before talking with that, focusing now first with the upcoming major.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 07, 2023, 10:04:11 PM
If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
Pretty normal when someone feels remorse at the end of the game and that's when he has lost money and his bet. I don't think that there's a need to be alert on it or it's a good thing because you'll never feel that if you have never gambled at all.

and to avoid such emotion, spend what you can afford to lose, the amount you can tell to yourself that you won't go broke because you lost it all in gambling.
Right, if you don't want to feel it then you should only gamble what you can afford to lose or any amount that you think your conscience won't be feeling any remorse for whether you win or lose.

most gamblers are remorseful because they are allotting such money to other needs and yet, they lost it in their gambling activities.
That's one reason and it's a wrong thing that you allot money to gambling which should be for other purpose.
