Thanks for all the help. Going to start mining DOGE, purely to see how it all works. Never mined before so it's more about that for me. And if I make a profit then great Let us know how it goes, but wouldn't it be better maybe mining another coin? I heard/think Doge is on its way down in mining profitability, popularity and price. |

Please whitelist me, I have been reading this site over 6 months and have been mining with a asic since mid october (knc). I got what I feel is a really good idea to spread the word about bitcoin to the masses yesterday watching the movie "BLOW". for those unfamilier with the plot its about the cocaine industry taking hold in America, Jonny Depp stars in this and quickly becomes a huge smuggler and seller of cocaine. In the movie some friends of his ask what lead to his huge success, he says that as soon as the music industry got hold of it, that it was unstoppable.
I propose that we send some msgs to rappers out there. get them to start talking about bitcoin in their songs. get them to add bitcoin addresses to their youtube profiles. If there is one thing other than sex and drugs rappers talk about its MONEY. ok thanks, hope Im let out =)

Which begs the question - how did other escrow "agents" get started in the biz. Sounds like a complete catch 22. Did they just do some private deals and get a positive trust rating first? Then move into the escrow biz?
People ask me to escrow all the time. I have never lent or borrowed BTC myself. I guess they just notice the people who are active and active in a positive way. I have invested so much time into the community that it is unlikely I would run with the coins. Classic long-con logic. Caught you! It's probably because of your involvement in the community and your green Trust: 1: -0 / +3(3) rating. But yeah, I agree you should only let people hold on to your money who seem to be long standing active members as they probably care more about the community and rep than scamming you out of your 0.05 BTC  . |

The people on that list weigh far heavier on trust. I think to get green or red trust to show up on your profile you need to have positive or negative feedback from one of these people on the trusted list. It's quite a confusing system and is unfortunately easily manipulated. |

I'm also new poster, but it seems easy by reading the rules! Spend four hours in newbie forum and make five posts, ten before you're allowed link in signature. how come Ive made lots more posts here and in other parts of this forum and PMs and been logged in almost 6 hours and I have the 6 minute IP limit? The 360 second limit will go away as you reach jr member (15 activity) It doesn't go away entirely, but goes down each time you get more activity. My timelimit is only 28 seconds now. |

Crikey - you can't be an escrow agent if you get upset like this. Its not like anyone said anything bad about you dude. Escrow agents have to deal with all kinds of s*** People who offer escrow services like this are either A) genuine but really naive and just want to build up rep but get a bruised ego when you question their motives, or B) Scammers, who get upset/annoyed that they're not going to get any easy free money. I think he was just naive ..... or maybe that's me being naive Maybe he was both naive and a scammer? Most usually are if they go this route . |

yeah I do lift, try to lift more though, cuz I'm not lifting for a few days. I have my own personal gym at home with enough equipment Me too. I might buy a rowing machine this week. Need to do some decent cardio, but jogging gives me blisters. I lift occasionally when I work out, but I am not a bodybuilder myself. I am more focused on not becoming fat, if you get what I mean.
