I will probably buy a 3D printer when I sell at the coming top. But I dread having to learn the software, I hate computers and software stuff, I would rather just make a drawing by hand and pay someone to do the CAD drawing from that. The hardware stuff on the other hand, that I like.

OutOfMemory is right, I was thinking about my OPSEC. I think you should buy a good 3D printer. It's cheaper that way, as you'll be able to do so many more things exactly the way you want. Aside from the printer purchase, the cost is nothing really (I've just tried your mine and the printer reports around 16 hours of print time and a material cost of 4.90 €). You must be patient though, as you will need to tweak s/w parameters and tinker with the 3D models, but it's so rewarding it's totally worth the effort IMHO. I'm lucky enough to have access to a good 3D printer at my laboratory, so it's all free for me.

If I had that specific color filament, and the time to change the text language, I'd do it for you.

These are some good, cheap printers to start with: https://www.prusa3d.com

Edit: Sorry for the OT, just warming up for the next pump...  Grin

I bought Anycubic's newer Mega S. Prusa's are in the same range, afaik even better quality at the higher ended printers and have also good community support.
It's a "good" quality low price printer, but i instantly changed some things, like the cooling system and housing. I found out i better change the bushings of the guides of the heated bed, because they vibrate at higher speed. At least it's a low budget printer with heated bed made of glass, so once leveled, no maintenance and tape, glue or spray needed, no warping, good heat distribution.

If you want high quality and just start printing without modifications go for an Ultimaker, which are $2k and rising. Most of the quality of the prints is in the settings, though.

On topic: It looks like there are some traders taking profits into the christmas holidays. There's some good support a little below current $22.4k, next week we may observe another pump (i hope so). Boring times ahead?

The Anycubic is an excellent choice! I've used it and it's one of the best VFM 3D printers out there. You just need to be comfortable with tweaking and tinkering with the h/w a bit, like you've already done. Printing with PLA, the output is on par with much more expensive printers. It's the more difficult/exotic materials that make the difference IMHO.

And based on Bitcoin's recent performance and expected 2021 price, you'd probably only need 0.1 BTC to get some of the best quality 3D printers out there...

Life's sweet for BTC HoDLers!

Buying BTC at any time is smart.

The two booths do not co-exist in space-time. The people in the above drawing are still smart, albeit a little lagging.

The dumb people are those who refuse to buy, or who sell with no purpose other than to put fiat in a bank account.

Edit: My OCD...

18666 €. Now we're really doomed!

Seeing whale calls of significant ($25M+USD) lots of coins being moved to exchanges.

Smells like a massive bloody turd gonna be cooked up pretty soon.

Sure hope not.

Isn't it just coins being moved from cold storage to meet the increasing demand?

Good point. I hope that's what it is.

It would be so cool to reach (and exceed) $25k by Christmas. This would break 20k € for us Euro-landers.

In the video they are talking about consolidating 2021-2022 in the 500K-1mil range. Shocked This is institutional FOMO, gentlemen! We can't even count the companies who have already invested some spare cash (you know pocket money 100 mil to 1bil and more) as a hedge against inflation. This is just the beginning of a new era of mass adoption. Nobody is talking about 100K anymore  Grin. Overtaking gold, is also a modest prediction nowadays.

it is a phenomenon i have encountered several times through late 2020: mainstream press reporting about legacy finance suits being way more bullish than the regular WO bull.  how come they beat the WO in its very own discipline?  wrap your head around that.

first they laugh about you
then they become more bullish than you
then they buy your corn
do NOT let them win THAT easy

what you consider expensive and high price for them its just change. dirty fiat. they soon all want your corn.

keep your corn. let the zeros they add on their balance sheets, on their money printing, and on their offerings not fool you. nobody can add zeros to bitcoin. you own the sacred multiplier of it all. you own the keys to paradise. literally. fiat is rat poison. they want your corn.

Well said.

Just sell only the amount you need for a specific, immediate purpose. Selling just to put fiat in the bank is a huge mistake IMHO. Fiat should just be a transient phase that's only necessary to achieve a goal, not the target of the selling.

Dropping to $22k is so painful.
Can't even haiku.
So depressed...

It never dropped to $22k. The lowest it dropped was to over $22.3k.

Since the ATH it's been basically been consolidating around $23k.

Yeah, I know, it's just the damned $22xxx in front that is was spoiling the fun. Just joking, of course, it's already an excellent performance, and it will rise again soon. It's already trending slightly upwards again.

In mid-2020 I placed a fun bet (no monies involved) with a nocoiner friend, that BTC will reach 20000 € (around $24500) by Christmas. I do consider that I've essentially won, as it's almost there already, but I'd like the price to really reach and exceed that level by Christmas.

@Arriemoller: Arrie, I hope you didn't pay too much for that 3D printed mine, because it's not a good print job... If it wasn't for OPSEC, I could print one and send to you for free. Maybe some day...

In other news:

Don't care about gay.
Please, just go to $30k.
I want to be gay!

Boys, I’m at my gf’s parents house. It’s my nephews 1st birthday, I really want to let loose right now but I can’t out of respect for them. I told them all to buy years ago but nobody did.

Feels like a dick move to start celebrating so I’m keeping it quiet. Will buy a bottle of champagne on the way home.

This is just the beginning, next stop $50,000.

I just came back from a friend's place. Went there to chill (COVID and all). No coiners there. I didn't mention the B-word. Great guys 'n' gals, but they wouldn't understand. And they definitely wouldn't buy, especially now that it's worth more than $20k. "Too expensive", you see...

Back in late 2016 / early 2017 I urged my friends and colleagues to buy one Bitcoin each. Just one. Their monthly salaries could buy at least 2 BTC back then. I told those who have kids to buy 1 BTC for each kid. For their kids' future. Nobody, NOBODY believed me. They just laughed at me, called me crazy, stupid, immature. Just a few bought altcoins, then sold it all at a loss in the crash. Funny thing is that many of them still laugh at me even now. It's like they cannot accept what's happening. They almost don't believe the price. They want to "see the money".

I won't show them anything. I told myself to never ever talk about Bitcoin to 1. nocoiners, 2. those that didn't buy. Period. Even if they call me and ask about it, i just say "Google it." It's not worth it really...

In other news, BTC is now worth $21300.

Where is that $14k dip they promised me?  Roll Eyes

That would be awesome. I'm stuck with a fat amount of fiat in the bank. I'm tempted to buy some corn now, but also thinking of keeping it as a buffer for emergencies and if some immediate need arises. We (still) live in a fiat world. Dipping to $14k would surely resolve my dilemma.

I'm sure I'm going to bitterly regret this when I read this post a year from now...

I just want the two of you to know that I love you with all my heart.

I bet one of them is so proud of herself.
And the other eats duck in a UK pub.

Some people just aren’t made for obscene wealth & high opulence Wink

Opulence. Learned a new word today (English is not my mother tongue).

I like its meaning too, although I'm not so much into luxuriousness. Yet.

I think we're going to like the price @ 1/1/2021.

Edit: Based on PlanB's graph, we'll be closer to $100k around Q3 2021.

What kind of fugged up Christmas cards are these?

Edit: And what fugged up poll is that? All of the above. Because Bitcoin is what it is.
