To the next conference Smiley. Anybody knows when will be the next conference starts??
No announcement yet, it's nice if we will just wait for the announcement, and I hope to see imports by the next conference.

I like to greet the TNT also for winning the champion, it was a real effort shown by the TNT to finish the series, they can relax early and spend time with their family. Still a great job for the Magnolia to give their best even though some of their starters are struggling with injures.
1842  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: October 29, 2021, 09:15:04 AM
We can all notice the ongoing price correction of Bitcoin and the fact that price does not continue in a straight line. What do you think Bitcoin's Price could be corrected to? I mean, what do you think would be the minimum price Bitcoin gets to, before going back to $52k price again?
In my opinion, Bitcoin looks quite bullish so far where the bitcoin price has reached $66k. However, for the medium term or the next few months, it looks like bitcoin will continue its bullish trend or the biggest upside potential will hit $80k later this year.
Bitcoin has been bullish since the first day of october and up to the present, its still working on to reach another all time high before this year ends. But i also notice that its price at the moment is rarely not seen going up, maybe of just some price correction or what. Ethereum instead is having a fast pace price surge reaching on its new all time high.

Well, bitcoin is still bullish even if its price does not make any significant pumps in these past few days, and for sure it will reach another peaks before we see it. Price corrections will always be inevitable, just like bitcoin will always recover from any dumps in the market.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 29, 2021, 07:55:44 AM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

It's still a joke even it's worth real money. As long as it has trading volume, there are people who will trade it.

But to hold DOGE because of its fundamentals? I doubt the majority thinks of it that way. They are trading that joke coin because it's good for short-term trades and easy to manipulate. With just one action to make it hype again, the DOGE market reacts right away. That's the risky part of trading that coin.
DOGE coins from them we can learn memes are not always considered jokes, sometimes jokes are painful in reality , just like DOGE coins have serious value and they keep it hoping to break $1 dollars back even more
Yeah its a meme coin but this one had survived how many years compared into those so called good project( scam coin) which owners been trying to
advertise or make people believe but still ending up on a demise or simply died out without getting that much attention thats why DOGE is something
which is way more useful or relevant compared into those coins that arent even getting that much value or recognition.
having the richest person behind him makes doge full of hope, moreover I think there are still many holders who are here waiting for the price to react. we don't know later, but doge is still able to survive so far and is still at the top of coinmarketcap. but for me need to be wary to invest in it, considering this is a meme coin
Investing in meme coin right now is never a problem as long as you also need to be wary of its consequences. Once a meme coin, will always end up a meme coin. Even if its listed in the top 10, i know it will not sustain its price and will never come to the point of beating a solid and well developed coin. But seeing the fact that dogecoin is very much positive right now, taking advantage of its high market value will never be a bad idea. We are here to take profits and when we know its already in front of us, then we should grab the chance. Let us enjoy what has dogecoin has prepared for us at the present. And when we know its dumping again, at least we are already aware of that.
1844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks either adapt or face death on: October 28, 2021, 11:39:26 PM
If it happens that Bitcoin is globally legalized and accepted my major business, that is something it pushes banks to do as well as they don't have any better option. Well, unless if they stop doing their services and look for another line of business that accepts crypto.
From what I see, 10-20 years from now, Bitcoin is widely used by the community and this it listens to the number of people who come and do business with the banks and this could help nothing for them but something it leads to a shutdown.
The government will certainly not allow for banks to stop operating so they have no choice if bitcoin will be used by majority, then they should start adopting it.  But i guess this might be far from possibility since the government also is thinking to launch their own centralized crypto and that will be automatically integrated in bank's transactions. If bitcoin has become more advanced today, then the government should also see to it that banks too should never be left behind, otherwise people will not trust banks anymore because bitcoin itself can be considered already as their own bank.
1845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: October 28, 2021, 04:59:08 PM
Hello friends happy weekend to you all.

What do you think about Saturday and Sunday trading Huh
Honestly, weekend trading is the most difficult thing I can do right now.
Commonly, the weekend market will be very volatile and it is very unpredictable. So, I will prefer not to trade much on the weekend.
Although it depends on our own strategy and tactic, that is me. I always feel difficult to seek for the gap and also to get the chance to take more profits.
Well, maybe the weekend is the right time to refresh our mind and take some rest in order to come back again with better thought and condition  Cheesy
Indeed, during the working days of the week at least the signals are still relatively telling us the trend but for the weekends, it seems to be a summary report and when summed up, a lot of signals are formed by whales and investors with their own purposes and when the forces begin to rush towards results, our random stumbling blocks relatively infuriate them and we unlucky enough to fall victim to revenge. The excitement should be reserved for the first days of the week, combined with rest during the weekend to relieve pressure in a job with too many thoughts such as trading.
Same with my opinion too. Weekend trading has more unpredictable market crash due to different news that comes in the market and leaves significant dumps. Big whales are more visible to manipulate the market during weekends which leaves the market more risky and certainly not ideal to trade and make profits. So i prefer saturday and sunday as my rest days to refresh and renew my mind so i can think better plans for my weekdays trading. And its a great time really to spend the time for your loved ones as most have become busy during weekdays.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: October 28, 2021, 02:53:46 PM
Wondering how a player can cheat? All I can come up is multi-accounts for bonus hunting, but this is hardly the case for most ordinary players. And you correctly noted that there may be other conditions for whale players - hardly any bookmaker will like a player who makes big bets and wins. It is very important how they behave in such a situation.

I wonder the same thing?! All I know I picked up from reading stuff across the internet, and mostly it's connected with money laundering, abusing bonuses and promotions... when you get into reading about this stuff you can find many crazy things! I can't even claim that half of that is true!

Ordinary player, I include myself in that group, will just go along with the rules of the house! Of course, if we are comfortable with those rules, if not we will look for another place!

I don't like KYC, I done it many times and I will probably do it here and there again, but I will try to avoid it as much as I can! Exchange or a casino, it doesn't matter, when KYC becomes mandatory I already have a replacement!

I think that most of these stories about successful gamblers who beat casinos are written by the casinos themselves (by the way, as well as various winning strategies)  Grin All this is done for the purpose of advertising and to exploit the feeling of greed in people to lure them into this area. I do not welcome this, gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money.

Nice theory because no one would appear to the public that they are really making money in sports if they don't have another agenda or if they are not paid. They say that you cannot beat a casino, but in sports betting, you don't beat the casino as they only facilitate bets, you beat your fellow sports bettors if you are a profitable gambler.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 28, 2021, 02:24:24 PM
^^ But we don't know for sure if Crawford will sign for an extension with Top Rank. As far as I can remember their contract will end this month. And maybe this is the last time that we might see Crawford under the Top Rank banner. And maybe he will shift to other promotional company that will give him the fight that he wanted and of course the biggest paycheck every fight until he retires.

You might be right.  And this fight is mandatory, so Crawford or at least Bob Arum can't do anything about it but to honor the mandatory. Maybe Bob Arum still doesn't want to have Crawford fighting a tougher opponent in Porter, but it is what it is.

Regarding his contract, they've been in bad taste lately, as Arum said that Crawford can't sell fight and this somewhat offended Bud. So I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't want to extend his contract with Top Rank.

Crawford despite being an undefeated champion does not make a lot of money in boxing, and probably because Top Rank does not give him big fights.
As per this article, his net worth is only $8 million and for me, that's too low considering he has been a boxer for years.

https://playersbio.com/terence-crawford/

He needs more marketing and that will only happen if he will have big fights, like fighting the best fighter in the world.

Mayweather despite being boring is the highest-paid boxer in the world, I mean he made his fortune in big fights and he never loses.
Here's the point, Crawford is an exciting boxer but he didn't make big money in his fights while Mayweather is only good in trash talk makes tons of money.

That's how effective marketing is especially coming from boxers, so he better learn how to trash talk to earn more.
1848  Economy / Economics / Re: Simple reason why crypto is preferred over fiats on: October 27, 2021, 11:16:02 PM
Unlike your normal bank that has CEO who decides how he wants to run his business, he can collaborate with the president to Syphon millions of dollars and no one will know about it

In the Crypto space, such is not possible because any amount that leaves your account can be monitored and traced by anybody at all

So stealing with Cryptos is almost not possible
Personally, I think that cryptocurrency is a really cool stuff to be part of. When I started making use of crypto currency years back, it wasn’t really because of it being decentralized and not having any control at all, it was just because I felt that it’s a really cool technology and I liked everything about it and how it works and the fact that I’m able to send money to anyone no matter where they are in the world, and be able to do it at a cheaper rate than what I will have to pay when I’m making use of banks. It even took me time to realize that there was no one who controlled cryptocurrency, that it was just a decentralized platform that is simply on its own.
Decentralized crypto is what it makes more interesting than going into fiat that has high chances to end up being robbed not just when you're in streets walking around, or even when you put your money in banks and yet, stealing still happens because its not really true that banks are more secured than any other financial institutions.

But with crypto, its impossible that your savings will be robbed or stealed because its blockchain is very much secured and there's no way it can be controlled by someone or any group entities. Crypto has becoming very useful these days not just in sending and receiving money through crypto, but also making it as a retirement plan that is more safe and secured than thinking of fiat's retirement.
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top coin to invest in for passive income? on: October 27, 2021, 10:20:25 PM
Since september I invested low-priced coins that have the potential to skyrocket like SHIB Inu, I believe the trend of cryptocurrencies will continue to improve so the opportunity to get passive income is very large, some of the coins that I have stored in my wallet are Goma Finance, Kuma Inu, Akamaru, Freemon and Kaiken Shiba.

It's very dangerous if you invest all of your assets on those coins, you know that's just hype coins and everything could be gone if the trends is suddenly over and we never know when.
I think you should save like 70% of your investment to strong fundamental coins like ETH, BNB, SOL and others. Just use 30% of your investment going to hype coins, just my opinion.
Well, those coins are totally risky since they are only good when there is hype, but when its over, they drop their prices drastically. So if you are a good investor, you must know how to allocate your funds and putting a high percentage on coins with solid fundamentals and lesser when it comes to hyped coins.

I think investing in crypto coins for passive income has less chances to happen since we are investing along with risks. Maybe if you just buy and hold for bitcoin and ethereum, it will create passive income in the future even if you just sit the whole time, but i doubt it will be possible for most of the altcoins as they are easily pump and dump.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying shib right now on: October 27, 2021, 10:05:53 AM
If you have good trading skill - buy Shiba Inu or what ever you want, anytime you want. Several weeks ago, $0.00003 was already considered a high price and it was not recommended to buy Shiba, because of a pump. But looking on the price today - it has almost double. Maybe there is something behind it after all. Maybe soon some whales or popular crypto people will start to talk about it more or promote it.

Right now I have changed decision from not buying to buying and attentively observing the price, being ready to sell it immediately or fixing with minor profit.
We have different views from buying SHIB knowing it will always be a meme coin which has an uncertain future. But for me, i also consider that this is still a good buying moment for SHIB because its still backed by an increasing community which means the demand keeps on growing. Though it has high possibility that it will dump its price anytime soon, and investing in it right now brings a bigger risk, but if there is good profits awaits in the future, then taking its risk is definitely worth investing. SHIB has been making good developments recently, so it has high chances that people will continue holding it rather than selling the coin.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 27, 2021, 07:08:41 AM
I still haven't found any confirmed date and month for this match. Did anyone find any legitimate source when this match is likely to happen?

I can't find any date as well, maybe they are working on the background and trying to push this fight this year at least December so that it will be a good year for boxing.

I do agree with @arwin100, the pressure will still be on Casimero's shoulder to perform and show the world that he can still knock out his opponents and face the Monster next. We don't want a boring fight like the last one. He has been in this kind of situation though, so I'm confident that Casimero will win in this fight.

You can read on the post by Kemarit, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5361289.msg58277454#msg58277454
Based on the post, the fight could potentially happen before the end of the year, the target date is December 11, 2021 but there's no confirmation yet.

And good news also because it looks like it will be a double header of both champions defending their respective title.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 27, 2021, 06:35:48 AM
What happened now to Jackson Corpuz? Cleared to play the next game or not?

He is available next game as no announcement that he is suspended in game 3.

However, the news came out that he was fined Php 20,000 as the foul was upgraded to flagrant foul penalty 2.
I think the PBA really made a close investigation on what happened and I guess this fine is not enough, at least a suspension of 1 game since Rosario might not be able to play for the remaining games due to the injury he suffered from the dirty act of Jackson Corpuz.

Jackson Corpuz was mitted with a stiff penalty, 20k Php is stiff lol. At least the PBA had some explanations on that action of Corpuz of bumping Rosario airborne. The article says that Rosario is doubtful to play on game 4 so I think he is still in this series and he might rest for tomorrow's game and come back in game 5.

Even though Rosario might not play, the Katropa have Mickey Williams who played like an import, seems that magnolia has a hard time stopping him.

TNT -2.5 @1.97, I think this is a good bet. TNT should not let Magnolia equalize the series that might boost their confidence going into gme5.

You can take TNT -2.5 at 2.06, this is hinting something, maybe the rig is gonna happen again so the series will be even. Though Troy Rosario's stats were not so impressive in the finals his impact on the floor is huge for the team, so his loss is also huge. Good luck with your bet man, may you win it tonight.

There's no need to rush as according to the trend now, looks like TNT will be the underdog in this game.

As of now, you can get TNT ML at 1.95, and that's better compared to the -2.5 @1.97 which was bisdak40 took earlier.
The line movement was insane, it's very suspicious and I have a clue what's gonna happen in this game.
1853  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: October 26, 2021, 11:58:25 PM
The bitcoin price movement has been in a bullish trend for the past few days and has just surpassed a new ATH again. The potential for continued upside for bitcoin will continue, and this has already been seen where the price has already reached $66k. I predict, early next year, the price of bitcoin will break the $100,000 level.
This is more possible to happen next year, I also want to see Bitcoin at the price of $100k though its hard to tell when it will happen because of volatility in the market and the changes of the trend every year.

We still have 2 months left before the year end, that could be an enough time to reach a higher price, $100k is the target, and hopefully to at least get close enough to that price before the year end.
Well, reaching $80k will be more possible by next year for bitcoin. For now, maybe $70k-75k is the target that will be the last price that will be achieved before this year ends. Although, crypto market is always unpredictable and it may even go higher reaching another unexpected price, but it will only be possible if there is a really big news that will hit the market. Other than that, if only small positive news will influence the market, then for sure it will only be a little by little spike in price.
1854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think October will be for alts? on: October 26, 2021, 07:22:52 PM
Yes I think Good time coming for alts. Bitcoin now standing good position. Now time to up for alts. Altcoin will pump anytime i think. October will best time for altcoin everyone think. We know that when Bitcoin were stable then altcoin pump. So now Bitcoin is somewhere stable we think so it is high time for pump altcoin. And near future it will be happen. And October is that time for alts i believe.
October is not just a great start for bitcoin but also for the good altcoins. Because whenever bitcoin continue to surge its price and makes the market bullish, this will also create more significant pumps on altcoins that will also affect even altcoins in low values to start making a good price increase. And when bitcoin reaches its new ATH, then we can expect that ethereum too will soon to reach its new ATH. This is more on bitcoin and altcoins tandem this time, and not just on bitcoin or altcoins alone.
1855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: October 25, 2021, 11:08:08 PM
People will ask these kind of stuff all the time, there is no correct answer, nobody can give a proper answer because it is obvious that there is no correct answer to give for every person to accept. It is a different answer from each different person and that is why people are not really entirely sure why they are preferring bitcoin over others, I mean my answer could be different than yours as well.

It also makes sense that people may still ask this question after being in the crypto world for a long time as well. Who actually can guarantee you that bitcoin will stay like this as well? I mean maybe we are going to end up with something that is a lot riskier, who knows?
This question has always been asked several times because there are more entries for newbies that are observed every now and then. While the answer is very clear for us who have been here for years, but for newbies this is still very confusing for them.

I would say bitcoin has never lose its value and is more making significant surges because its the best secured and most profitable coin in the crypto space. Although its has high volatility that makes its more unpredictable, but its the real reason why bitcoin has been making significant pumps even in times that there were no good reasons behind those pumps. But to answer if this pump will be forever, still no one knows its real answer. Because bitcoin will always be unpredictable and uncertain no matter what.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New York launches RFP for new casinos rising the taxation to 64% on: October 25, 2021, 09:39:34 PM
That could be high but the government knows that this is a lucrative business, and the fact that they still operate, means they are profitable. The sports betting industry is a billion-dollar industry, so the government will certainly benefit big time from this increase since the majority of the money in circulation in the sports betting industry is coming from US soil.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 25, 2021, 09:18:12 PM
Reymart Gaballo is looks strong, because the opponents are weak . This match is going to test Gaballo's skill, at this age we can't say that he is slow. On the other hand, Donaire  lost to Naoya Inoue on 7th November 2019 by unanimous decision in their WBA Super World Bantamweight While Gaballo looks strong his hits are lacking in accuracy.

Weak? But all of his opponents were within his same class therefore they are all in their comfort zone but it just happened that Gaballo defeated them all. It's still hard to reach a clean 24 wins record with 95% of those wins being thru Knock Out win.

What accuracy do you mean? Punch landed stats? Can you share your analysis here with stats?

Probably he was just trying to say weak compared to Donaire, he was overwhelmed by how good Donaire is and forget how good Gaballo as a challenger. We would know for sure once these two will fight in the ring, the young one is also hungry to be a champion while Donaire needs to win this fight as it's his ticket for a big fight against Inoue.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 22, 2021, 08:19:34 PM
That means there are no changes after all, but if the spread of TNT is -2.5, I think that implies something, it could be a trap so everyone thinks the line is easy and they will take it. Let's wait for the odds to be available, we could see another magic in game 3 as that's the only way Magnolia will win.

Anything can happen but if Magnolia won't be able to find a way to make a good stop, expect that the outcome will continue to be like this, Lee needs to work things out, leading his team to try extending this series should be the focus for him in this upcoming game 3.  Roll Eyes

Game 3 is the most important game in the series since the series is already 2-0, honestly, based IMO, this is the worst Finals that Paul Lee has ever played, maybe he is bothered with the injury but it's not an excuse though, I'm not sure if what would happen to him after this, maybe the will get traded?

If TNT wins, they just beat the 2 giant teams of the San Miguel Corporation, and that's big enough to be called a success on the part of Chot Reyes and the TNT roster of course.
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first time using a Bitcoin ATM on: October 22, 2021, 05:27:21 PM
Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I have read a few stories that have used Bitcoin ATM, but I was not really aware of using mobile numbers during parsing Bitcoin. As you said you bought Bitcoin safely and anonymously, this is not true at all. Because I agree with safely because it is quite safe and there is no chance of scam or fraud, but really you are not anonymous since you have submitted your mobile number. The government can identify who bought the Bitcoin. However, I don't think this is a problem for you because there is a bitcoin ATM machine means Bitcoin is not illegal in your country. But this is a matter of tax maybe you cannot avoid paying tax if necessary. It is good to see at least you can buy Bitcoin directly from ATM.
Although there is no bitcoin atm machine yet in our country but i really appreciate sharing your experience with us. I would be glad making transactions in a bitcoin atm machine soon as i'm now aware how to do it successfully.

However, it really confused me why is the machine asking for your mobile number? Isn't your btc wallet address enough for your verification? I really think there is something wrong with this as we are not becoming anonymous already.  And if its connected with the government, i'm sure we can be traced easily by them which is not really a good thing.
1860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Use Technical Analysis? on: October 22, 2021, 04:55:04 PM
Do you use technical analysis when you trade bitcoin?
If yes, what are the best strategies? Bitcoin is so volatile now.

TA is mandatory these days considering how bitcoin is working. Actually bitcoin is volatile that is the reason you should be using TA and Fundamental analysis in the first place. You will be able to judge the sure path of trade once you master in the same.

Honestly I never got the chance to do so. I am solely working with my friends to understand the bitcoins next move. Those who are expert in the field (mostly they do share market) but I take their help to predict the bitcoin movement. They use amazing theorems available in the TA methods which helps detect the bitcoin movement.

Since I’m not the direct user of the TA, but with what I saw can be done with TA you must learn if you gonna be full time trader.
Technical analysis should always be present if you are trading bitcoin. This will help you to come up with good indicators that will let you know how the market moves, identify the trends and create good predictions. Together with fundamental analysis, a bitcoin trader will develop good investment strategies so that trading will be more prone to success and create huge profits in the future. Without technical and fundamental analysis, i don't think how will a bitcoin trader be able to make profits due to its volatility.
